Lorsque j'entends le mot « dĂ©tournement de fonds », j'imagine quelqu'un en train de puiser dans la trĂ©sorerie de l'entreprise et de s'emparer de l'argent pour son propre compte. Rien de tel ne s'est produit. Le Parlement europĂ©en a distribuĂ© des fonds Ă  des membres Ă©lus sans, au dĂ©part, prĂȘter beaucoup d'attention Ă  leur utilisation. Certains groupes ont utilisĂ© les fonds destinĂ©s Ă  payer leur personnel parlementaire pour leurs partis politiques. Toutefois, à supposer que cette pratique ait été répréhensible, rien n'a été fait pour réprimander, et encore moins pour punir, les Verts - un parti trÚs pro-UE, en quelque sorte le nouveau courant dominant.
Mais le Front national, dont le nom et les politiques ont Ă©tĂ© modifiĂ©s aprĂšs que Marine #LePen a succĂ©dĂ© Ă  son dĂ©funt pĂšre, est une autre affaire. Son parti, le Rassemblement national #RN, est aujourd'hui le plus grand parti d'opposition Ă  l'AssemblĂ©e nationale et les sondages la placent en tĂȘte des intentions de vote pour la prochaine Ă©lection prĂ©sidentielle, avec 37 % d'opinions favorables. Ses adversaires politiques ont longtemps trouvĂ© plus efficace de l'ostraciser en la qualifiant de dangereuse « extrĂȘme droite » plutĂŽt que de dĂ©battre de questions (sur lesquelles elle n'est pas si extrĂȘme que cela). Il s'ensuit donc que ce que les Verts ont fait avec l'argent de l'Europarlement devait ĂȘtre bon et que ce que Marine Le Pen a fait devait ĂȘtre mauvais - trĂšs trĂšs mauvais en fait. if you're using systemd, make sure the account you're using is allowed to have jobs linger after logout, or it'll kill nohup/screen/tmux when you log out (Debian might default to that, idk)

@aspragg @igrok okay so i landed on some combination of systemd-run and screen. now the only weird thing is that i have "6 screens" but I can't switch back to 4 of them lol. THANKFULLY i have shred running on shell 0 of window 1 and i can keep going back to check on as needed, i have tested logging off the server and back in. but i dont know where these other 4 screens are and how in god's name to switch to them and kill them.

Russian President Valdimir Putin’s limousine has been destroyed in a massive explosion, according to reports.

The vehicle exploded near Moscow’s Federal Security Service (FSB) headquarters.

The official limousines erupted in flames following the large explosion.

The vehicle, believed to be part of Putin’s official motorcade, was seen engulfed in flames shortly after what is thought to have been an explosion originating from the car’s engine.

The Aurus limousine, a luxury vehicle frequently used by Putin, quickly became fully consumed by the fire.

Witnesses reported that black smoke filled the air as the fire spread.

Staff from nearby restaurants rushed outside to assist in trying to extinguish the flames before emergency services arrived at the scene.

Video footage from the incident shows significant damage to the rear of the car, where the fire was most intense.

The incident comes just days after Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelensky made a stunning “prediction” about Putin.

And yeah usually if the #MSM brands someone far right, especially internationally, I view that more like a quality seal than anything else, especially since many of these far right leaders are in despotic countries that are far left, so they'll tip the country on general towards the center rather than the far right.

Someone far right would do damage in the #USA, while fixing the #UK with the exact same policies if that makes sense.
