Des rapports avaient d’ailleurs été publiés selon lesquels le président sortant Barack #Obama et le vice-président de l’époque, M. Biden, étaient très au courant de la supercherie russe.
Le fait est que les groupes néo-nazis enracinés à Kiev, avec #Zelensky comme chef de file, ne sont pas le moins du monde intéressés par un changement de leurs exigences maximalistes sur un retrait total de la Russie et ainsi de suite pour mettre fin à la guerre. Ils sont soutenus par les Européens inconditionnellement qui savent parfaitement que de telles exigences désespérément irréalistes sont des facteurs de rupture de l’accord. Le régime de Kiev et les dirigeants européens se rejoignent au niveau des appuis en tant que groupes d’intérêt dans la poursuite de la guerre.
En d’autres termes, tant que le régime de Kiev restera au pouvoir (bien que le mandat présidentiel de Zelensky ait expiré), toute avancée dans le processus de paix restera une chimère. Ainsi, Zelensky et ses mentors européens ont déjà rejeté la proposition issue des discussions entre les États-Unis et la Russie à Riyad, lundi, visant à alléger les sanctions contre la Russie et à permettre aux banques russes d’accéder au Swift pour l’exportation de produits agricoles et d’engrais russes. Cette avancée aurait permis d’ancrer le cessez-le-feu, mais hélas, il n’en est rien.
Dans ces circonstances, la meilleure solution serait que Zelensky se retire de son propre chef et qu’une nouvelle élection soit autorisée sous la supervision du président du parlement, mais c’est trop demander. Compte tenu de l’ampleur des profits de guerre, Zelensky occupe un poste de rêve.
L’alternative sera l’éviction de Zelensky par des moyens coercitifs, comme les États-Unis l’ont fait pour un mandataire tout aussi corrompu, Ngo Dinh Diem, en 1963, pendant la guerre du Viêt Nam. Mais il est peu probable que Trump fasse cela. De toute façon, l’État profond est hostile à Trump et Zelensky bénéficie du soutien politique des démocrates.

Il a ensuite abordé la question des formations néo-nazies qui reçoivent des armes et une aide financière de l’Occident et disposent des ressources nécessaires pour recruter du personnel, qui détiennent le pouvoir de facto à Kiev et dirigent effectivement le pays. Poutine a déclaré :
« Cela soulève la question suivante : comment est-il possible de mener des négociations avec eux ? »
Faisant le point sur la résistance générale de Kiev à mettre fin à la guerre, M. Poutine a déclaré :
« Dans de telles situations, la pratique internationale suit une voie bien établie. Dans le cadre des opérations de maintien de la paix des Nations unies, il y a eu plusieurs cas de ce que l’on appelle la gouvernance externe ou l’administration temporaire. Cela s’est produit au Timor oriental, je crois en 1999, dans certaines parties de l’ex-Yougoslavie et en Nouvelle-Guinée. Bref, de tels précédents existent« .
« En principe, il serait en effet possible de discuter, sous les auspices des Nations Unies avec les Etats-Unis et même les pays européens – et certainement avec nos partenaires et alliés – de la possibilité d’établir une administration temporaire en Ukraine. Dans quel but ? Pour organiser des élections démocratiques, pour porter au pouvoir un gouvernement compétent et jouissant de la confiance de la population, et ensuite seulement pour entamer des négociations sur un traité de paix et signer des accords légitimes qui seraient reconnus dans le monde entier comme cohérents et fiables.
« Il ne s’agit que d’une option ; je ne prétends pas qu’il n’en existe pas d’autres. Elles existent certainement. À l’heure actuelle, il n’est pas possible – et peut-être pas possible – d’en exposer tous les détails, car la situation évolue rapidement sur le site . Mais cela reste une option viable, et de tels précédents existent dans la pratique des Nations unies… »
Ce que #Poutine n’a pas mentionné, mais qui est tout aussi pertinent, c’est que la guerre en Ukraine connaîtra une mort brutale dès que la gouvernance de l’ONU en Ukraine sera établie. En effet, laissons les Nations unies décider de la composition des forces de maintien de la paix qui seront déployées en Ukraine pour organiser les élections. Il n’y aura pas non plus besoin d’une « coalition de volontaires » européens pour le déploiement en Ukraine.
Bien entendu, les grands perdants seront le MI6 et les politiciens au pouvoir dans les pays de l’ #UE qui se sont rangés derrière Biden pour mener une guerre par procuration vouée à l’échec contre la Russie et qui a fini par faire s’écrouler l’ #économie de l’ #Europe. It’s clear that #Trump’s State Department spokeswoman has been instructed to respond to any and all questions about Israeli atrocities in #Gaza by blaming everything on #Hamas, without even pretending to care whether the allegations are true.
For some background, Israel has just been caught perpetrating an atrocity so monstrous and so abundantly well-evidenced that even the mainstream western press have felt obligated to report on it. Outlets like the Guardian and the BBC are covering the story of how 15 medical workers for the Red Cross, Civil Defense, and the UN were apparently handcuffed and executed one by one by Israeli forces in Rafah before being buried in a mass grave. According to Palestinian Civil Defense spokesman Mahmoud Basal, they were each shot more than 20 times. (As an aside, the fact that Israeli forces have been known to bury the victims of their atrocities in order to hide the evidence is one of the many reasons why the official death toll from the Israeli onslaught in Gaza is definitely a massive undercount.)
Asked by the BBC’s Tom Bateman about these reports during a Monday press briefing, State Department spokeswoman Tammy #Bruce responded by babbling about how evil Hamas is and how they are to blame for everything bad that happens in Gaza. Here’s a transcript of the exchange:
Bateman: On Gaza, the UN’s Humanitarian Affairs Office has said that 15 paramedics, Civil Defense, and a UN worker were killed — in their words, one by one — by the IDF. They have dug bodies up, they said, in a shallow grave that have been gathered up, and also vehicles in the sand. Have you got any assessment of what might have happened? And given the potential use of American weapons, is there any assessment of whether or not this complied with international law?
Bruce: Well, I can tell you that for too long Hamas has abused civilian infrastructure, cynically using it to shield themselves. Hamas’s actions have caused humanitarians to be caught in the crossfire. The use of civilians or civilian objects to shield or impede military operations is itself a violation of international humanitarian law, and of course we expect all parties on the ground to comply with international humanitarian law.
Bateman: But there’s specifically a question on any — it’s a question about accounting and accountability given there may have been the use of U.S. weapons, so it’s a question about the State Department rather than Hamas. Is there any actions —
Bruce: Well, every single thing that is happening in Gaza is happening because of Hamas — every single dynamic. I’ll say again — I’ve said it, I think, in every briefing — all of this could stop in a moment if Hamas returned all the hostages and the hostage bodies they are still holding and put down its weapons. There is one — one entity that could stop it for everyone in a moment, and that is Hamas. This is — all loss of life is regrettable — it’s key, obviously — whoever it is, wherever they live. And this has been the nature of what fuels Secretary Rubio and President Trump in their willingness to expend this kind of capital early on in this term to make a difference and to change the situation. So I think that’s — that is the one thing that remains clear in all of this.
At no time does Bruce attempt to deny that the atrocity happened or cast doubt on the veracity of the claims, only justifying Israel’s actions by blaming Hamas. Again, this is a story about medical workers being handcuffed and then executed by gunfire.
Tammy Bruce does this constantly; she did it in response to two separate questions at a press conference last week. When asked about Israel’s assassination of Palestinian journalists Hossam Shabat and Mohammad Mansour, Bruce responded by babbling about #October7 and saying “every single thing that’s happening is a result of Hamas and its choices to drag that region down into a level of suffering that has been excruciating and has caused innumerable deaths.” When asked about the fact that people in Gaza have been unable to access clean drinking water under the Israeli siege, Bruce said, “Hamas did not perform to make sure that the ceasefire could continue, that they did not do what they said they would do. So we know, of course, when it comes to the ground water, of course, this is — it’s a crisis. It’s exacerbated by the fact that you have a terrorist group that just doesn’t care.”
She did it again at a press conference the week before when asked by journalist Said Arikat if the State Department considers #Israel’s use of siege warfare on a civilian population a war crime, saying “For the horrible suffering of the Gazan people, we know where that sits: it sits with Hamas,” adding that the people of Gaza “have been suffering because of the choices that Hamas has made throughout the years.”
#Arikat, by the way, has just tweeted that on Monday he was not called on to ask a question for the first time in nearly 25 years of attending State Department press briefings. Having a strange behavior of one profile with respect to the domain.com/network page. For some reason it just gives a blank page. Same goes for: /network?mention=1 /network?order=created /network?order=commented but not for: /network?star=1
At the same time it does "feel" that this goes away sometimes, but this "feeling" will need some recheck.
As of now other related profiles that haven't posted anything or any interaction at all do display the network page without content as they do not have any contacts.
A first guess was that this is due to the startpage addon but changing the setting their from "network" to a different page didn't solve the problem.
This is happening on a "brand new" 2024.12 setup, hosted alongside a 2024.03 with the exact same admin settings that as of now hasn't any of these problems.
Blank pages should have a related Fatal Error in the PHP log.

And why does this happen only on one profile, is there a way to create some situation that what ever is empty isn't anymore empty. Like posting something, or commenting on some mastodon post or something like that? Also, is this 2024.12 specific?
