They are using AI to write scientific papers. Then they don't review them enough to even find the gibberish AI inserts.
This seems like a simple problem to fix. If you use AI to write your papers then that project and any future project will not receive any public money funding. Including the institution you publish from.
If you want to publish garbage do it, but do it on your own dime

That article mentions RFKJr's data sources will not *just* be medical records, but everything, including health trackers / smartwatches... which record HRV and REM (among other things).
According to many recent papers, low HRV is a "strong biomarker" of ASD, for both children and adults. And papers for decades have shown that REM is lower (usually around 15%) in the ASD population too.
They will be able to figure out who is autistic regardless of a formal diagnosis.
