Romania’s High Court Crushes Last-Ditch Effort to Save Overthrown Election, Ensuring Globalist-Backed Re-Run

thegatewaypundit.com/2025/04/r…

This evening around five p.m. my next door neighbor and I were out on our respective decks playing 90s alternative music from portable speakers at a reasonable volume with our families when the septuagenarian across the complex started shouting and recording on her phone for everyone to turn off the music and then CALLED THE COPS. Two local police showed up, talked to her for about fifteen minutes before quietly leaving while we all watched in amusement. It was wild. 😵‍💫

This afternoon, video came to me from inside Pakistan showing trainloads of 203mm M110 self-propelled howitzers being brought to the border with India.

War preparations are in full swing inside both India and Pakistan after a terrorist attack in India killed 16 India citizens.

India blames that attack on Pakistan and has retaliated by ordering all Pakistanis OUT of India, declaring upwards of HALF the Pakistani Diplomatic delegation to be "persona non-grata" and ordering them out of the country, closing border crossings and -- the big deal -- cutting off fresh water by closing four Dams on the Indus River.

That river provides fresh water to Pakistan.

Pakistan made clear that such a move would be viewed as an act of war; India did it anyway.

Yesterday, Pakistan called-up its military reserves and began moving troops and armor to its Border with India.

Today, the Indian police have launched an operation in Mumbai to locate Pakistani citizens who haven’t left for Pakistan.

Things are escalating fast on every level.

Both India and Pakistan are nuclear-armed nations.

Green Energy Blackout

#Spain, #Portugal, and parts of #France have been without electricity all day:

Panic buying has swept Spain and Portugal as #nationwide #blackouts paralysed both countries, shutting down transport networks and prompting people to clear supermarket shelves amid fears the chaos could last for days.

Huge queues formed outside shops and banks as residents and tourists desperately sought to stockpile essentials and take out cash as much cash as they could amid the uncertainty.

Rows of cars were pictured lining up at petrol stations as people hoped to fill up their vehicles and fuel cans, with ex-pats detailing how they have tried to power generators to keep their homes going.

Airports have also been hit by the outages, with flights delayed and cancelled and holidaymakers in Portugal warned by the country’s flagship airline TAP Air not to travel for their flights until further notice.

A British holidaymaker in Madrid described the situation in the city centre as ‘carnage’, telling MailOnline: ‘People are starting to panic. It’s going to get really bad if they don’t restore power quickly.’

Madrid’s Mayor urged people in the city to stay where they were as the disaster unfolded, while the president of the city’s regional government called for Spain’s prime minister to activate an emergency plan to allow for soldiers to be deployed.

Power outages gripped Spain at around 12.30 local time, plunging millions into darkness. Spain’s nuclear power plants automatically stopped, but diesel generators were activated to keep them in ‘safe condition’, officials said.

Trains and metro services were shut down in both countries, with people stuck in tunnels and on railway tracks, forcing evacuations.

Portugal’s electricity grid operator warned that it is ‘impossible’ to say when the power supply would be fully restored, adding that while ‘all resources’ were deployed to resolve the issues, it could take up to a week to fix.

The power cuts come just days after Spain’s power grid ran entirely on renewable energy, including wind, solar and hydro power, for a whole day for the first time on April 16.

Spanish officials are urgently investigating the cause of the outages and have said they are looking into the possibility of the blackouts being triggered by a devastating cyber attack.

Videos online show railway networks in Spanish cities plunged into chaos, with people being evacuated through tunnels as blackouts hit underground stations and halted trains.

The centralized power grid was always a foolish idea, with little redundancy and a natural tendency to get pushed beyond its limits. But attempting to go entirely to so-called “renewable” energy – as if #oil isn’t a naturally #renewable #resource – was always likely to result in something like this.

#Houthi rebels shoot down 7 US #military #Reaper #drones worth $334m, in recent weeks

When you consider how expensive drones are and that they can be shot down with comparatively cheap #weapons, it reminds me of the quote from the visionary philosopher of peace:

"I'm not gonna fire a $2 million #missile at a $10 empty tent and hit a camel in the butt."

Heh. How sane and rational GWB sounds these days.

According to Wikipedia in 2024 we (USians) spent $849.8b on the military.

849.8b isn't all spent on drones. Still, we've got enough cash to arbitrarily bomb stuff all over the world for at least another couple years - with losses. The military might say many more years - with necessary sacrifices.

In my opinion, GWB was a loveable idiot but an idiot nonetheless. To me, it looked like he assumed our professional warfighters of the time were idiots as well.

Emerging from the shadows, I issue secret commands,
And from beauty lethal, my weapon in my hands.
To make you bleed is my chosen game,
But how can you shield when those who hate me,
Also fan the flame?
I amplify your pain, as I thrive on your plight,
From your burned-out hearts, I find new targets in sight.
I breathe eternal youth into your lifeless frame,
The chance to be a god, but it's hidden, just the same.
The masquerade will linger until humanity falls,
As the world’s slaughter quietly calls.
Only when the cursed battlefields blaze,
Will the world know my name, through the darkness and haze—
For I am your end.
So scream as loud as you dare,
No one's here, they're all gone,
No one will hear, no one will care,
It’s a war in the heavens, we’re left all alone,
And you thought string lights could save your home.

Linux communities beware of #PewDiePie fans

Regardless of PewDiePie’s personal #politics (which clearly, at the very least are problematic), it is fairly well known by anyone who has been following him for any number of years that the vast majority of his fan base are enthusiastic fascists.

Now #PewDiePie , who’s content centers around PC gaming and Windows, has decided to switch to #Linux and published a video encouraging his followers to do the same. This means a very large number of his #fascist fan base is going to be switching to Linux.

Now many Linux communities are going to be forced to more explicitly choose their politics. Like the parable of the Nazi bar, if the community remains politically neutral, it will become fascist in short order.

A few things to be wary of:

  • People asking you not to be “too political” or to “focus on the technology, not the politics” is a classic and highly effective fascist ruse to get moderators to lighten up on fascist elements posting in their community.
  • People complaining about free speech rights. The #Internet and the #Fediverse is already a domain where people can speak freely about their politics by running their own server and building their own community with few to no government constraints. You don’t need to compromise on whether fascists have the right to free speech in your community.
  • Arguments over your code of conduct (CC) and “safe spaces.” Keep them up-to-date. Research other people’s CCs, learn about the history of why these CCs came to be, learn about what the function of each clause of the code is included and phrased the way it is. These were usually designed to make explicit the fact that a community wants to be a safe space where underprivileged people can feel comfortable expressing themselves, and it is very easy to make people afraid to express themselves. Fascists understand these CCs and the concept of “safe spaces” were explicitly designed to exclude them, and often attack these ideas.

The EUDS Special Committee (EUropean Democracy Shield) is currently dealing with the dangers of disinformation, propaganda & hybrid threats from Russia. A colorful mix of “experts” was invited:

NGOs such as Alliance4Europe & Bellingcat (partly funded by George Soros Open Society Foundations & the NED), the Swedish Psychological Defense Agency (offshoot of the Ministry of Defense) and the European Centre of Excellence for Countering Hybrid Threats (“Hybrid COE” for short - working under the auspices of the EU & NATO) unanimously claim to want to strengthen the population's resistance to disinformation.

Since the biggest operator of disinformation & censorship is the EU itself, not only since Covid-19, I asked the representative of „Hybrid COE“ how to prevent the fight against disinformation from actually becoming a fight of governments against their own critical citizens.

Watch the video to see the deterrently vacuous answer.

Comme le cadre de la photo qui est au mur depuis des décennies et dont à un moment donné le clou qui le tient se casse sans qu'on sache réellement pourquoi à cette seconde et pas à la précédente ou la suivante;

As you may have heard, not kowtowing to every order issued by a federal judge no matter what his jurisdiction is the new constitutional crisis.

Reality Check

#AI #bubble

Think of it like this: if almost every single media outlet talked about one thing (generative AI), and that one thing was available from one company (OpenAI), wouldn't it look exactly how things look today? You've got OpenAI with hundreds of millions of monthly active users, and then a bunch of other companies — including big tech firms with multi-trillion dollar market caps — with somewhere between 10 and 69 million monthly active users.

What we're seeing is one company taking most of the users and money available and doing so because the media fucking helped them. People aren't amazed by ChatGPT — they're curious! They're curious about why the media won't shut up about it!

My report

theglobeandmail.com/world/arti…

JFC it's not quite 6:30 AM and I'm woken by the dude with the black hatchback with modified exhaust, just idling the thing outside my bedroom window. I've asked him nicely to fuck off and he keeps doing it. Apparently TMR are responsible for dealing with fucked up cars so I'll give them a ring during business hours. But I'm so fucking done.

Feedly has replaced the NVD button on their CVE summaries with an AI button, has another AI Button right next to it which they've added a permanently flashing green light to, and now are giving me popups on advisories telling me to try their AI "insights."

Call me old fashioned, but I think if AI was the future of tech and cybersecurity then maybe they wouldn't need to advertise it with all the class and subtlety of a porn ad in 2003

A now former mod has a Reddit comment history that trends to the right. From what I’ve garnered it would be a far conservative viewpoint twenty years ago. Now somewhere between insensitive and moderate. No evidence those viewpoints made any impact on their moderation decisions, but many butts were hurt. A bunch of folks have abandoned the instance not specifically because of the mod but for fear of associatively bad reputation or having their posts walled off.

About 20% of Spain has had their power restored. A few things come to mind regarding these large scale power outage events:

Cash on hand is necessary in emergencies, though most stores here need electricity to open the cash drawer.

We need backup systems for when the grid is down, especially for water service.

Almost all gasoline pumps in my country rely on power. Even occasionally when the power is not out, the payment sysyem can be down. "Pay at the Pump" only works when there is no interference with satellites. A solar flare can interrupt this.

We are so reliant on digital technology now, that we should probably take a hard look at how to manage emergencies better. During the terrible flooding in the remote mountain areas after Hurricane Helene, we learned the need for mobile WIFI trucks, pack mules to transport supplies, and the use of Ham radios for communication.

What an evil fucking son-of-a-bitch. I hope he gets another parasite in his brain and it fucking kills him. #USpol #trump #RFKjr #Narcan #opiates #opioids #overdose #OD #addiction

I was telling my family last weekend stories about customers I've worked with in the past. They kinda just stared at me, but here's a story:

So, i meet with this lady, pretty big house. She needs it painted - you called the right person. I do the estimate, chat with her and her husband, walk outside and take some measurements.

I bring her the bid (but she had taken her "medication" ie xanax house wife mode activated). She was loopy AF, her husband randomly leaves and now I'm stuck with this stoned woman. Whatever, sign the contract and get a downpayment.

Fast forward a few months, we are starting the project. Guys are putting on the prime coat, honestly looks good.

She has cedar siding that's de-laminating (the natural tannin in the wood (the glue) is breaking down and the siding is starting to splinter. It's like 25 years old so that makes sense.) After like three days of working prepping this ladies house she randomly has a meltdown.

"YOU RUINED MY SIDING, YOU SAID YOU COULD FIX THE WOOD WITH PAINT".

"Uh, excuse me? You're siding is failing paint wont fix it, I told you this"

"YOU LIED TO ME"

*xanax wife puts all of our materials in her garage
* lawyer husband starts calling me trying to get me to sign things admitting fault for their shitty siding

I have to call the police to get them to release my ladders and sprayer (now locked in their garage until I admit the shitty siding is my fault)

End up walking away and never getting paid.

This was 10 years ago. I have 100s of stories like this. Lol

Yes, this is actually how people behave.

in reply to Sir Anthony Bacon

Honestly I feel so fucking shit for you, man.

A lot of people in service industry talk shit about customers like "You have no idea what it's like!" but from what I've heard it's just as bad for you but you get shit tons of money gone or fuckheads try and sue you.

Pass few days hearing these stories has given me enormous respect for you, dude, and keep hanging in there!

Not sure if anybody even does this, or would be willing to do this for me, but, I would love to get back into broadcasting, gives me something to do so I’m not bored out of my skull. However, I do not have an outlet at which to broadcast, nor do I have the latest version of the station playlist studio suite, but I would obviously need it I presume to be able to broadcast… not sure how that would work as far as license transferring, or if anybody could, or even wood for that matter, pay to get me back up-to-date, or how even that would work… Totally just putting it out there, not expecting a response, but would love it if it could be done. I definitely don’t like to ask, but, I guess I’m asking. 😀

wait, i thought chemtrails were a conspiracy theory hurrrr

telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/04/2…

i'm honestly not even going to read this article. they've been adding cloud nucleating chemicals to jet fuel already since at least the 90s

I am absolutely shaken right now.

Three people I know—almost an entire family—were killed in the Vancouver car attack.

I didn’t know them well but I saw them every week at Vancouver Rackets Club—a place I go to three or four days a week to do my workouts.

It’s wild. I was just a few blocks away from where that happened on Saturday, and my first thought was, “That could have been me in that crowd.”

Well, people I know were in that crowd. And they’ve left behind a son. The whole thing is just awful.

incidentally i realized i needed at least one more battery for my solar system so i ordered one. the price had already gone up, but they had some coupon available so it was actually slightly cheaper than the last one..

100ah @ 48v is definitely not enough to sustain power through multiple cloudy days. it could keep the lights and a computer on but that's about it. 200 should be better. ideally you'd want like 400+ but that is getting really expensive

>mostly solar energy
>"unusual atmospheric phenomena"
>grid goes down

could they perhaps mean "a cloudy day?" :thonking:

incidentally, spraying the atmosphere with sun-reflecting particles is an intentional act of war. it's modern day seige, indirectly shutting off your energy and starving you out of existence by reducing food and energy production. any and all means of preventing this are justified
