Cette décennie – incandescente – a été inaugurée par l'assassinat du général Soleimani à Bagdad, comme je l'ai souligné dans mon livre Raging Twenties (2021). Il était en mission diplomatique. Le feu vert est venu personnellement du président des États-Unis de l'époque, Donald Trump.
Le milieu des Années folles est désormais au bord d'une guerre dévastatrice en Asie occidentale, aux répercussions mondiales, suite aux assassinats en série des dirigeants du CGRI, à Téhéran, perpétrés par l'entité sioniste psychogénocidaire. Après un kabuki élaboré de tromperies, le feu vert à Tel-Aviv – allez-y, allez-y – est également venu du président des États-Unis, Trump 2.0 (qui a affirmé être « au courant » des attentats).
Une guerre préventive contre les BRICS
Le plan génocidaire psychopathologique vise à forcer Téhéran à capituler – sans même opposer de résistance. Le kabuki préliminaire a été magistralement exécuté. Les négociations nucléaires indirectes à Oman ont été prises au sérieux à Téhéran, endormissant les dirigeants iraniens, civils et militaires. Ils sont tombés dans le piège et ont été pris, littéralement, dans leur sommeil.
L'ayatollah Khamenei, lui-même en danger physique, Israël appliquant le même modèle de décapitation qu'il a utilisé contre le Hezbollah, doit prendre une décision difficile : capitulation ou guerre totale. Ce sera une guerre totale, avec les États-Unis comme participants directs.
Les dirigeants iraniens – en fait, la présidence Pezeshkian, bourrée de partisans d'une « compatibilité » avec l'Occident – ​​ont été induits en erreur, oubliant que les tueurs en série ne font pas de diplomatie.
Le prix à payer maintenant, pour l'Iran, sera donc encore plus insupportable. Téhéran ripostera, à condition que ses capacités soient toujours en place. Dans ce cas, son industrie pétrolière risque d'être détruite. La question reste ouverte de savoir si deux autres membres importants des BRICS, la Russie et la Chine, aux côtés de l'Iran, laisseront faire, pour des raisons différentes.
Et si nous nous apprêtions à pénétrer sur ce territoire particulièrement dangereux, l'Iran pourrait jouer la carte suprême : fermer le détroit d'Ormuz et effondrer l'économie mondiale.
L'attaque contre l'Iran, pleinement approuvée par l'Empire du Chaos, est avant tout une attaque préventive contre le cœur énergétique des BRICS. Elle s'inscrit dans le cadre de la guerre impériale contre les BRICS, et en particulier contre la Russie et la Chine. Moscou et Pékin doivent en tirer les conclusions nécessaires en temps réel.
L'Iran, la Chine et la Russie sont liés par des partenariats stratégiques interdépendants. Le mois dernier, j'étais en Iran pour suivre l'avancement du Corridor international de transport Nord-Sud (INSTC), qui relie la Russie, l'Iran et l'Inde. Ce n'est qu'un projet d'infrastructure stratégique parmi d'autres qui consolideront encore davantage la connectivité économique eurasiatique. Une guerre dévastatrice en Asie occidentale et l'effondrement de l'Iran porteraient un coup fatal à l'intégration eurasiatique accrue.
C'est exactement ce qui convient aux desseins de l'Empire.
Il n'est donc pas étonnant que Washington soit à fond dans la bataille. C'est désormais la guerre des maîtres de cérémonie.
Une riposte dévastatrice ; une arme nucléaire ; ou la capitulation.
Le message de Téhéran est le suivant : « Nous n’avons pas déclenché la guerre, mais l’Iran en déterminera l’issue. »
La question brûlante est de savoir s’ils disposent encore d’une capacité de dissuasion et d’attaque significative.
Les génocidaires frappent à volonté les systèmes de stockage de missiles balistiques dans le nord-ouest de l’Iran, et même l’aéroport civil de Mehrabad à Téhéran. Les défenses aériennes sont inexistantes. C’est un spectacle extrêmement douloureux.
Les affirmations de Tsahal – non vérifiées jusqu'à présent – ​​prétendent que certains silos de missiles et complexes mobiles ont été détruits avant même d'être placés en état d'alerte. Or, la réalité est que l'immense majorité du vaste arsenal de missiles balistiques iraniens est stockée dans des silos et des tunnels souterrains très profonds, capables de résister à des frappes aériennes massives et à des défenses aériennes surchargées.
Pour l'instant, Téhéran garde un silence inquiétant. C'est logique, car il lui faut, en un temps record, rétablir une chaîne de commandement unifiée, brisée par les attaques ; s'assurer que les lanceurs de missiles puissent être déployés sans être neutralisés par la suprématie aérienne israélienne ; réorganiser l'opération True Promise 3, prête à être lancée, comme certains d'entre nous l'ont appris à Téhéran le mois dernier, mais désormais adaptée à la nouvelle situation (pertes comprises) ; et planifier les moyens de porter des coups douloureux à l'infrastructure économique d'Israël.
Rien ne prouve que les attaques aient détruit l'infrastructure nucléaire iranienne, profondément enfouie sous terre. Dans l'état actuel des choses, les dirigeants de Téhéran apprennent à leurs dépens que la diplomatie – comités, lettres à l'ONU, déclarations à l'AIEA, réunions ministérielles – est vidée de sa substance face à la loi de la jungle.
Les Iraniens ont eu la naïveté de laisser l'AIEA visiter leurs sites stratégiques, alors que de véritables espions collectaient toutes les informations nécessaires pour faciliter les frappes israéliennes. La RPDC ne serait jamais tombée dans un tel piège.
L'élimination d'une personnalité aussi importante qu'Ali Shamkhani, conseiller principal de Khamenei, négociateur en chef de l'Iran sur le nucléaire, fort de décennies d'influence au sein du CGRI et des services de renseignement, constitue un coup dur.
L'effacement systématique des dirigeants militaires et diplomatiques iraniens en quelques heures s'inscrit dans la logique de l'écrasement de l'entourage proche de Khamenei. Ce processus a commencé il y a longtemps avec l'assassinat de Soleimani ordonné par Trump, et inclut certainement la mort mystérieuse de l'ancien président Raïssi et du ministre des Affaires étrangères Abdollahian dans ce douteux « accident » d'hélicoptère. Il s'agit avant tout de créer les conditions d'un changement de régime.
Fait rare et prometteur, le CGRI a fait savoir, avant les attaques, qu'il développait une technologie secrète pour intensifier l'impact de ses missiles sur #Israël.
Nous sommes tous pris dans la tourmente. Une fois de plus, il n'y a pas d'issue : soit un coup dévastateur contre les psychogénocidaires, soit l'Iran se dote d'une arme nucléaire en un rien de temps. La troisième option est la capitulation, l'émasculation et le changement de régime.
Pendant ce temps, la planète entière est l'otage d'une menace mortelle. Andrea Zhok est professeur de philosophie morale à l'Université de Milan et, outre ses brillantes analyses, il a préfacé l'édition italienne de mon livre « Les Années folles », paru l'année dernière.
Le professeur Zhok a succinctement souligné qu'aucune construction politique de l'histoire moderne n'a accumulé une combinaison aussi toxique de suprémacisme ethnique messianique ; de mépris total pour la vie humaine (tous les autres, non « élus », sont de toute façon des « #amaleks ») ; de mépris total pour le droit international ; et d'accès illimité à une puissance de feu meurtrière.

Is it true or is it a fairy-tale that the darker the desktop, background, menus, are the less electricity a monitor consumes and the less heat it emits ? When it consumes 0 electricity it is all black, black is the absence of light. Pure bright white would be the maximum of consumption and heat it can create. Right?

Also light hurts your eyes, darkness just forces your eyes to do more work, higher sensitivity, but instantaneously it leaves them unprotected to a sudden glare and bright light exposure.

Ya os digo que algo así aquí donde vivo es rarisimo. Así que me encanta que lleguen aquí estas cosas. Pues la sala ha llenado (tampoco era muy grande pero llenarla no es lo normal) un historiador catalán ha dado una pequeña lección de historia sobre el "conflicto" y después un profesor Palestino de Al Fatah ha explicado la situación actual. Muy interesante todo. Y sobretodo ver a gente del pueblo que nunca me esperaría en algo así. Al final paseo hasta la plaza de la vila y colgada pancarta POR PALESTINA.

Schallende Ohrfeige für 4. Strafsenat des OLG Dresden, welcher sich weigerte, das Verfahren gegen mutmaßliche NSU-Unterstützerin Susanne Eminger zu eröffnen

Wie vor wenigen Tagen berichtet, hat der Bundesgerichtshof die Entscheidung des 4. Strafsenats des OLG Dresden, Susanne Eminger vor einer Verhandlung wegen Unterstützung des NSU zu bewahren, aufgehoben.

Jetzt liegt die Begründung des BGH vor.

So hatte der 4. Strafsenat des OLG, Vorsitzender ist dort Richter am OLG Schlüter-Staats (berüchtigt spätestens seit seiner Verhandlungsführung im Verfahren gegen Antifaschist:innen im Antifa-Ost Komplex), mal kurzerhand das OLG München gerügt. Der Senat stellte fest, er "wolle im Hinblick auf den Vorsatz" von André Eminger, dem Ehemann von Susanne Eminger, den das OLG München bekanntermaßen verurteilt hatte, nicht die selben Schlüsse ziehen.

Der ganze OLG-Beschluss ist dem BGH so suspekt und getragen vom dem Bemühen, Susanne Eminger vor einem Prozess vor dem OLG zu bewahren, dass der Bundesgerichtshof entschieden hat, das Verfahren vor einem anderen Senat des OLG zu eröffnen, namentlich um "die Unvoreingenommenheit des Tatgerichts zu wahren". Offensichtlich hat der BGH den Eindruck, dass der 4. Strafsenats unter Vorsitz von Schlüter-Staats, derart zu Gunsten von Susanne Eminger, der engsten Freundin Beate Zschäpes, voreingenommen sein könnte, dass eine Verhandlung unter dessen Vorsitz keinen Sinn mache.

It seems that Iran is waiting until their entire army is wiped out before they respond.

I'm not sure that strategy works.

It is very depressing that we have an entity (Israel) made up of criminals that gets to do whatever they want of barbarism with zero accountability.

And now no one even knows what's happening in Gaza and the West Bank. The genocide has likely moved into higher gear.

Could Windows switch to the Linux kernel?

You guys might have read or heard about conjectures regarding Microsoft and Linux. Specifically, that Microsoft might, in the future, replace the windows kernel with something based on Linux. While I personally don't think this is going to happen, like, not at all, let's see why people might think that it's in the cards.

So first, Eric Raymond, one of the founders of the open source movement, wrote a blog post explaining that MS will definitely move to Linux as the base for Windows. I'll leave a link to this article in the description, but his arguments boil down to this:

  • PC sales are down and will keep decreasing as more people use tablets and phones. This means that Windows is less and less profitable, and will in time turn into a drag on their business.
  • Windows subsystem for Linux allows to run unmodified Linux binaries on Windows without emulation.
  • Proton and Wine allow people to run Windows software at near performance parity, and if it can run games, it can run anything.
  • Microsoft is porting some of their software to Linux, and it can only make sense if they're trying to test their internal emulation layer.

Now, let's see why I think none of these arguments make sense:

  • Financially, Windows isn't a burden to MS. It's free for the user, but not for the manufacturer. Hardware manufacturers that ship windows pay a fee to Microsoft, which is very lucrative. While it's not what they're focusing on right now, it's also a good source of income, and I don't see them just replacing the kernel because Windows doesn't make as much money as other things. The moment where PCs aren't needed in the workspace is far, far away. Manufacturers will keep selling workstations and laptops to companies for the foreseeable future, and this generates money for Microsoft. A lot of money, probably enough, without any other client, to keep developing their own kernel.
  • WSL: WSL is the exact opposite of porting windows to use the Linux kernel. It's allowing Windows to use Linux software WITHOUT running the Linux kernel. I personally think this is the route Windows is going to take to cater to developers and sysadmins that prefer working on Linux.
  • Wine and Proton: running games is easier than running desktop programs. Games all use one of 3 APIS: DIrectX12, Vulkan, or OpenGL. Vulkan and OpenGL are native to Linux, so getting games that use these is pretty easy, once you get the main windows executable started. Direct X doesn't exist on Linux, but DXVK, a translation layer, allows to transform the calls into Vulkan calls, and this has opened up a huge amount of games to Linux.
    Desktop programs, on the other hand, are way harder to run. They use their own toolkits, their own frameworks, and they don't look the same at all. Some will make use of a specific graphics API, some will use their own custom solution. Supporting all of these is very complex.
  • Porting software: what Microsoft ported is all stuff based on electron, or Chromium. Edge is based on Chromium, which already runs on Linux. Porting it is a low hanging fruit, not a hard development effort. Teams is a webapp, running with electron. It doesn't take any effort to give that to Linux users. What we haven't seen yet, is Office 365, which is the big moneymaker for Microsoft.
  • Emulation: Windows is already trying to emulate x86 on ARM, with much less success than Apple: their Surface Pro X is crippled by this, x86 software doesn't run that well, and most review point out it's bad in terms of performance. Sure, emulating Linux on the same architecture might not incur the same performance penalty, but if windows is going to use an emulation layer, wouldn't they contribute to Wine, since it's already super advanced ? They don't seem to be.
  • Compatibility: if you switch to a Linux kernel, sure, you could get windows apps running. But not the drivers. Manufacturers have, for decades, created drivers and software suites that only work with Windows and its kernel. This can't really be emulated. They have to be ported. Moving to a Linux kernel would virtually mean that everything that isn't plug and play would have to have their drivers re-developed from the ground up. Once again, I don't see Microsoft doing that and alienating their whole hardware ecosystem.

Today I will be attempting a data recovery from a Dell XPS laptop that was dropped and no longer has proper display output to the laptop screen.

To anyone thinking about getting an Dell XPS, I recommend that you don't. The extra cost premium is not worth what you actually get as I think Dell makes a lot of poor design decisions with the XPS line that look "premium" but are really problematic.

That's my opinion on the XPS series. The Latitude line is much more reliable, if you want to go with a laptop from Dell.

Why do people attach leashes to shoulder harnesses on their dogs? The harnesses just give the dogs more comfortable leverage to have control over their owners. Everyone I've seen using one has a large dog, and it's clear the dog is in charge.

(I understand having harnesses for smallish and old dogs, giving the owner the ability to help lift them.)

— pulling on a collar bruises the trachea and can cause permanent damage. Coughing when pulling is a sign of that.

If someone’s not training their dog to not pull, I’m glad if they use a harness.

I find it easier to control a dog in a harness. I can redirect with more force than is safe with a collar. When initially training a dog not to pull, I’ve also added a second leash on a collar, positioned high on their neck, just to turn the head. Pulling to the side first, then back, is key.
