>But you still HAVE TO have popular support for your government to become legitimate

What does "legitimacy" have to do with anything? Most people in any country hate their governments to the guts.

>You can't just arrive as a strike team out of the blue, eviscerate current officials and take their place — that is unlikely to work.

This is literally how it has worked every single time in the history of mankind. There is no other way.

Legitimacy is the most important thing! People not only have to hate their government — they have to like what you stand for. If you're assassinating officials, attacking law enforcement and setting the city on fire and people like you — you're brave revolutionaries, but otherwise you're just terrorists and they might even start flocking to their current government.
Besides, authorities aren't in the capital only — even if you manage to take the capital over, what if regional governments tell you to "literally fuck your own face"? To you have enough fighters to cover that? Every regional government and their law enforcement? Without legitimacy it's just civil war.
Then there are international matters — who recognises that your bunch of fanatics represents the country? Case in point: Taliban taking over Afghanistan, they are de-facto controlling the country, now what? Selling opiates to Russia which itself is still considered somewhat legitimate and recognises you is the best you can hope for.
I think legitimacy is the cornerstone of any revolution.

This is literally how it has worked every single time in the history of mankind.

I don't think so. I think it's more like Orwell described it: there is one group that is in power, the second group fighting for power — but they can only succeed if they have the support of the majority, the third group — that never wins itself, but becomes an essential tool for the transition of power. Very simplistic, but I think it's close to how it is.

I'm 3 months post surgery and spent the first 6 weeks in a neck brace limited to lifting 8lbs, then the brace came off and I was allowed 15lbs, and after today weight restrictions have been removed (within reason). I can now replace the 10lb resistance bands with 30+ and get back to working out, and setting up my massage table so that I can stretch and not have to deal with getting up off the floor.

Welcome to 2022. 😉

You can afford warplanes carrying tactical nuclear weapons. You can afford a King. You can afford a Cold War SLBM system. You can afford a subsidised bar for members of Parliament.

Once you get rid of those, come back to me on how you can’t afford to allow people their right to a jury trial.

I think it ultimately hinges on the people.

Is the will of the people to roll over and let indignity after indignity happen?

Or will they reach a point and say enough is enough and depose the western puppets that rule over them?

What I'm saying is that increasingly I'm placing the agency more and more on the people and less on the rulers. As someone said in an interview "there are 2 billion of us, the people of the Islamic world, and about 10 of them, the dictators."

well come on gather round so I can tell you a story.
Adam and JCD decided they were hypocrites, the the free speech they used to promote is too messy and off brand to be associated with them so they killed the OG NAS. Most of us understood that decision but Adam couldn't just let it go. He continued to talk crap about NAS and meme makers. This continued driving respect away from a once loved pod. The last few months have felt like the guys are phoning it in. It's not the same

In my warmup for #OldComputerChallenge 25, I dusted off ol' pal #RaspberryPi model B and burned #NetBSD 10 on an SD card to set it up.

It all went well (slow, but hey) but one thing that I still can't get around (that I didn't experience so much last time I tried it) is the console. Control chars get printed instead of arrow and home/end keys, no colors, etc. Hate to say it, but all in all, it feels backwards compared to a modern, full-fledged console environment of #FreeBSD or Linux. And it's starting to wear me out.

But I have a feeling that this is somehow my fault for not configuring the console properly or using the right output or something. I never had to deal with this before, so anybody knows how I can configure this so I can have a modern env in NetBSD?

Anyone know if there's any way to turn this off permanently in mastodon options or something?

I don't want a counter for notifications. It bothers me and it's a pain in the arse to get rid of constantly. I can't find a way to get rid of it - it should be on a setting, in my opinion.

I see the Notifications tab on my view all the time, so I can see my notifications I don't need a counter. But number goes up and I have to click a button to reset it 😖

Okay, after much googling (and years of no answers whenever I brought it up to dermatologists) I am diagnosing myself with Solar Urticaria. Unlike the commoner Polymorphous Light Eruption (PLE), SU can be triggered by non-UV wavelengths (including through clothing, like yesterday when I was wearing sun-protective UPF pants, per image) and appears minutes, not hours, after exposure. Also my skin eruptions look just like the pictures.

Apparently management includes my favorite antihistamine for sleeping, good ol' Benadryl! I've been avoiding it due to fear of senility, but one makes trade-offs in life, and since I suffer both sun allergy and chronic insomnia, I'm gonna take it every night for a while. Yay! A little further "research" indicates elevated histamine levels can cause insomnia. Elevated histamine is associated with autoimmune disease, which I have up the wazoo. Benadryl, here I come!!!

Will a Mobile Stone Crusher Cost More?

When considering the purchase of a stone crusher for your construction or mining project, one of the primary concerns is cost. Crushers, whether stationary or mobile, are substantial investments that play a vital role in your operations. However, the question arises: will a mobile stone crusher cost more than its stationary counterpart? In this article, we will explore the factors influencing the cost of mobile stone crushers and how they compare to other types of crushers, such as limestone crushers and industrial stone crushers.

Understanding the Basics of Mobile Stone Crushers

Mobile stone crushers are designed for flexibility and mobility, allowing them to be transported easily from one site to another. Unlike stationary crushers, which are fixed in one location, mobile crushers are equipped with wheels or tracks, making them highly versatile for various projects. They are especially useful in situations where access to a single location is limited or when the crusher(trituradora de piedra) needs to be moved frequently between different work areas.

These crushers are typically used for crushing a variety of materials, such as limestone, granite, and other rocks. They are commonly used in mining, aggregate production, and recycling operations, where mobility is crucial for efficiency.

Factors That Affect the Cost of Mobile Stone Crushers

The cost of a mobile stone crusher can be influenced by several factors, including its design, features, and capabilities. While mobile stone crushers tend to be more expensive than stationary models, several factors come into play when determining the overall price.

1. Mobility and Convenience

The most significant advantage of a mobile stone crusher is its mobility. Being able to move the crusher from one location to another without requiring disassembly or transportation by truck adds significant value. However, this mobility comes with a price. The advanced engineering required for mobility, such as tracks or wheels, additional components for transportation, and reinforced structures, can make mobile crushers more expensive than stationary ones.

For industries that need to move equipment across various work sites, the added cost of a mobile crusher may be justified by the operational flexibility it provides. This is particularly true for projects involving multiple locations or tight access areas where a stationary crusher would not be feasible.

2. Technology and Features

Mobile stone crushers often come equipped with advanced features and technologies that enhance their efficiency, performance, and ease of use. These features may include:

  • Automated control systems: Mobile crushers are often integrated with computerized systems that allow for real-time monitoring and adjustment of the machine's performance, optimizing production and reducing downtime.
  • Fuel efficiency: Modern mobile crushers are designed with fuel-efficient engines to reduce operational costs, but these advanced systems increase the initial price.
  • Enhanced mobility: The design of mobile crushers, which includes tracks or wheels and robust suspension systems, often comes with higher manufacturing costs.
  • Dust suppression systems: Dust is a significant concern in crushing operations, and mobile crushers often come with built-in dust control systems that add to the overall cost.

While these advanced technologies add to the price of the mobile stone crusher, they can also increase the machine's productivity, reduce environmental impact, and improve operator safety.

3. Crusher Capacity and Power

The cost of a mobile stone crusher can also vary depending on its capacity and power. Larger models designed to handle high-output production and tougher materials, such as an industrial stone crusher(trituradora de piedra industrial) or a limestone crusher, will cost more due to the size of the machine and the power required for its operation.

Mobile crushers with higher capacities may be more expensive upfront, but they can offer greater efficiency and higher production rates, making them a valuable long-term investment for large-scale operations. Smaller mobile crushers, which are suitable for lighter applications, will generally cost less but may not be as efficient for heavy-duty tasks.

4. Customization and Configuration

Mobile stone crushers are often available in various configurations, depending on the needs of the operation. Some models are designed for specific materials, such as limestone crushers(molino para piedra caliza) or crushers that specialize in aggregate production. Customized configurations may include different crusher types (e.g., jaw crushers, cone crushers, or impact crushers), which can increase the overall cost of the machine.

For example, a mobile stone crusher designed to handle particularly abrasive or tough materials, like limestone, may require additional reinforcement or specialized features, making it more expensive than a standard model.

5. Maintenance and Operating Costs

In addition to the initial cost, maintenance and operating costs play a significant role in the overall cost of owning a mobile stone crusher. Mobile crushers often have more moving parts than stationary crushers, which can increase the likelihood of wear and tear. Regular maintenance, including replacing parts such as tracks, wheels, or engines, is essential to keep the machine running efficiently.

However, because mobile stone crushers can often be moved to the work site, there is less need for additional machinery, transportation, or setup time, which can help offset the higher maintenance costs.

Comparing Mobile Stone Crushers to Other Crusher Types

1. Stationary Crushers

In comparison to mobile crushers, stationary crushers are generally less expensive, as they do not require the advanced mobility features and components that mobile units have. A stationary stone crusher may be more cost-effective for operations that focus on a single, permanent location, where mobility is not as important. However, they lack the flexibility to be moved between different job sites.

2. Limestone Crushers

Limestone crushers are designed specifically for crushing limestone, which is a softer material compared to other rocks. These crushers are usually available in both stationary and mobile models. A mobile limestone crusher may be more expensive than a stationary model due to the added features for portability, but it offers the flexibility to operate in multiple locations and handle various materials.

3. Industrial Stone Crushers

Industrial stone crushers are heavy-duty machines designed for large-scale operations. These crushers are typically stationary and can handle a wide range of materials, from rocks to aggregates. While they may not offer the same level of mobility as a mobile stone crusher, they are often more affordable upfront, making them a suitable choice for large-scale, long-term projects.

Conclusion: Is a Mobile Stone Crusher Worth the Extra Cost?

The decision to invest in a mobile stone crusher largely depends on the specific needs of your operation. While mobile crushers tend to be more expensive than stationary models due to their mobility, advanced technology, and capacity features, they offer significant advantages in terms of flexibility, efficiency, and convenience. For operations that require frequent relocation, tight access, or versatility in handling different materials, a mobile stone crusher may justify the higher upfront cost.

On the other hand, if your operation is based in a single location with minimal need for mobility, a stationary crusher may provide a more cost-effective solution. Ultimately, the choice between a mobile stone crusher and other types of crushers, such as limestone crushers or industrial stone crushers, should be based on your specific operational requirements, project size, and budget.
