trump is in an impossible situation.
A. if he releases the epstein files he is destroyed by the people on them.
B. if he does not release them, he is destroyed by his own base.
Personally, I doubt he'll release them (unless he rebrands them as the "Maxwell Files").
He's a businessman. He had something he wanted to see made law and an amazing leverage tool. His law passed, the files disappear (during a holiday weekend on which a natural disaster occurred).
Doesn't matter if he destroys his own base, while he jokes about a third term he would never actually go for it. He managed to get his legacy bill passed.
