Nicht der IWF hat ihn, sondern er und vor allem sein #Wirtschaftsminister hat den #IWF davon überzeugt, so dass dieser ein einmaliges, nie da gewesenes Programm, das eigentlich dem üblichen #Vorgehen des #IWF #widerspricht, akzeptiert hat. Jeder hatte erwartet, dass er die #Währung trotzdem nicht sofort freigeben wird, was m.E. auch keine Bedingung des IWF war, aber er hat immer gesagt, er macht es sofort, wenn die Bedingungen stimmen, und hat die Freigabe noch am #Tag der #Unterschrift, ein #Freitag, für den nächsten Montag erklärt. Niemand musste ihn zu seinem #Glück zwingen und “Furcht vor einem Wertverfall” hatte er auch nicht.
Dazu führt der Autor weiter aus:
“Anders als von Milei befürchtet, brach der Peso nicht ein, und es kam zu keinem Run auf die Banken, obwohl Argentinier nun unbegrenzt USD eintauschen können.”
Das ist geradezu lächerlich. Milei hat entgegen allen anderen, die genau das immer prophezeit haben, schon seit Mitte 2024 in jedem Interview behauptet, dass der Peso eine starke Währung wird. Am Tag nach der Freigabe, am Dienstag, hat er im Rahmen eines fünfstündigen Interviews mit extra gefertigtem handschriftlichem Skript allen #Argentiniern erklärt, warum der #Peso gegen den Dollar NUR STEIGEN KANN. Ganz nebenbei hat er den Argentiniern dann noch erklärt wer Carl #Menger ist, nachdem ihn der Moderator gefragt hat, was geschieht, wenn die Unternehmer trotzt erstarkendem Peso die Preise eingeführter Güter nicht senken.
Milei hat nichts “befürchtet”, er hat es gewusst. Die Anhänger der falschen Theorien hatten #Furcht und manche wohl auch die #Hoffnung, dass das scheitert.
Argentinien verzeichnet unter Präsident Milei beeindruckende wirtschaftliche Erfolge und einen Haushaltsüberschuss. Für nachhaltigen Aufschwung braucht das Land jedoch weitere Reformen und Stabilität.Friedrich-Naumann-Stiftung

I received an email earlier this week from EA asking if I wanted to be added to a public acknowledgement page they were creating for individuals who responsibly disclosed vulnerabilities to them.
For all the shit people give EA, of the 100+ companies I contacted in the last two years, they were the only company I would say had a decent incident response.
They fixed the issue within 12 hours after validating it as critical, and proactively provided me multiple updates over time.
When the IR was done on their side, they reached out again with some more information about the potential impact if the issue hadn't been solved quickly, and also offered me a reward.
I did not have to keep chasing anyone for updates, I wasn't asked for non-disclosure, or offered money in exchange for it, and people replied instead of ignoring me.
I wasn't blamed for their mistake, either, or reported to the authorities.
Unfortunately, at least one or multiple of the things mentioned above are present in most of my other incidents reported; it's a real shit show out there.

Unter MacOS mit Safari dagegen werde ich jedes mal nach meiner Rücksetzemail gefragt um den Code zu bekommen um mich einloggen zu können, welches immer mit "Es gibt ein Problem Bla Bla Bla" endet. IMMER! Code kommt an der alternativen email an und wird auch so eingegeben. Doch immer wieder Fehlermeldung.
