the rest of the stuff, flywheel, clutch disc and pressure plate connect to the crankshaft so i'll have to hold off on that stuff until the block is back together.

i am thinking about installing a "block guard" which stabilizes the floating cylinder design of the d series engines, making it a partially closed design, to avoid the cylinders shifting around under high boost instead of naturally aspirated cylinder pressures.

block guards are a bit sketchy though cause they can also squeeze your cylinders and distort them slightly causing binding. so i'm not sure yet. i'll see how the one i ordered turns out

They're Lying About Venezuela While Moving War Machinery Into Place

As if we didn’t have enough ugliness in the world right now, Trump has deployed warships near Venezuela’s coast, prompting Caracas to ready drone and naval patrols for conflict.

Peepy is a fictional plush character by itemLabel, shaped like a peanut and sold as an adult collectible, not a toy. It's marketed with absurdist, dark humor—described as being "out on bail" after a "dangerous and disrespectful crime." Each variant (like Cow Pattern, Corndog, or Axolotl) has quirky stats such as "Strength: Grass Eating" and "Weakness: Probe." Despite the playful design, it's part of a surreal art brand that also produces music and apparel. And while Peepy isn’t a real shrimp, maintaining proper calcium levels is still key for actual shrimp molting—stay at 68–78°F and pH 6.5–7.5. 🦐⚖️

We have moved into a new error in computer programming not a new era

The new error is that people do not even know what the code they are using is in regards to artificial intelligence where as in the past rules based artificial intelligence was used & people knew what the rules were

Now someone might know the rules in a sense. They wrote a program to do something with data when people put in large amounts of data. But they do not know what the data they are putting in is, leading to errors

I am fascinated by the drama unfolding related to the HBC bankruptcy proceedings.

Ruby Liu, a rags-to-riches real estate developer wants to buy the HBC mall leases for $69.1 million and spend $400m to create a new national department store with an “immersive shopping experience” to attract young shoppers back into the malls.

This is a story of ambition and vision but also one of hubris, greed and perhaps a twinge of xenophobia.

Watching to see how it turns out…
