Imagine solving a problem so cleverly that you win a $20,000 bounty—only to be told you can’t share your solution because of a law meant to protect creativity. This isn’t dystopian fiction; it’s the reality of DMCA overreach. When did owning something stop meaning you can actually use, modify, or repair it? The right to tinker isn’t just about convenience; it’s about preserving the spirit of innovation and ownership.
Louis Rossmann’s cat has the right idea: ‘Pay attention to me’—because the real issue is that corporations are using digital locks to hold your property hostage. If a cat can understand the importance of autonomy, why can’t our laws? youtu.be/66j9dsPhAjE #RightToRepair #DigitalOwnership #DMCA #ConsumerRights

I just came across Louis Rossmann new video that highlights a significant issue for Android users.
Google's latest move is a game-changer—or should we say, a game-breaker? Your $1000 phone now needs Google's permission to install apps. This isn't about security; it's about control. Like the DMCA issue—this is just another example of corporations dictating what we can do with our own devices. It's time to stand up for our right to tinker and true digital ownership. Watch and share: youtu.be/QBEKlIV_70E #Android #Google #DigitalOwnership #RightToRepair

And who is the kind of person trying to get @staff to ban the accounts of Palestinians who are using the fediverse as their last lifeline to literally get funds to eat as they’re being starved by Israel in a genocide?

The same kind of person – an anonymous coward furthermore – who paints the freedom flotilla as “Hamas”.

Do not let these Zionist propaganda accounts take hold on the fediverse.

Dear fediverse,

I just had a video call over Signal with @joynewacc from Gaza.

Farah, or Joy, as she prefers to be called, is a 22-year-old Palestinian author and poet studying English Literature at the Islamic University of Gaza, which has been bombed by Israel.

She lives with her mother and four siblings in a shelter, trying to survive the genocide being committed by Israel.

Please help her and her family afford food during the famine that Gaza is experiencing. Please donate if you can and/or share this so that it might reach others who might be able to:

Joy used to have an account on BlueSky but they closed it. Please give her a warm welcome to the fediverse and let her know she is welcome here.

If you’d like to read her writings, you can find them at:

You have until the end of the month the possibility to get 690 high quality photos (a total of 5 sets) with a 20$ subscription. Or you can get any of the sets separately costing around that value each, so it's up to you dear💖patreon.com/fairyelfie

66 buckets should hopefully last me some time

Kinda got polyethylene line mostly self sufficient. Slow but self sufficient.

Got a rock breaker that makes diorite, gets broken and split into clay dust and Mirabilite dust.

Electrolysing the Mirabilite dust, produces 3 buckets of oxygen, which is just the right amount to turn hydrogen sulfide into sulfuric acid, which feeds into another chemical reactor that contains ethanol to make ethylene.

I want to combine the ethylene with oxygen rather than air to get more polyethylene but barely have enough to run this shit.

Tempted to rush for a chemical reactor so I can make sulfuric acid from sulfur dust and water :cocoapain: .

Doms pls understand… I LOVE being manhandled…but with passion, w intention. With intense lust that turns me into a puddle of need… So yes- manhandle me but only to pull me into u, against you. Give the booty a smack but also give it a lil rub and grope… bite but also lick and groan LOUD.

A study of the developing fruit of Dock. It's a tough, resilient plant, it's seeds remain viable for 60 or so years, it has deep tap roots and it survives being the food source for many insects. Other than allegedly salving nettle stings we don't seem to have found much use for it, which is a bit sad because it's common as muck. There are 20 or so species in the UK, this one is Wood Dock (Rumex sanguineus).
