Jontae Jackson, a 45-year-old former taxpayer assistant in the Wayne County (MI) treasurer’s office, was charged with bribery, conspiracy, and aggravated identity theft.
Jackson worked with Zina Thomas, 61, a former director at the United Community Housing Coalition, a nonprofit organization aimed at protecting struggling Detroit homeowners. Thomas conspired to steal more than 30 properties from low-income residents, using forged quitclaim deeds, fake driver’s licenses, and fraudulent residency documents.

Jackson would process the documents, remove the properties from foreclosure, and Thomas would flip the homes without the consent of the rightful owners.

#LibreOffice calc question:

If I have (say) a list of purchases (date, amount); and I want to make a column like "running 7-day average"...

Then I'd like to do something like
=averageIF( A1:A999 , "<A1 -8", B1:B999 )

...where I want to look at the dates in column A, and if a line's date is less than 8 days older than A1, then count that line's column B value in the average.

But I can't figure out how to get an IF criterion to do math on a date in LibreOffice calc.

Last week, after collecting evidence, Israeli human rights organisation B'Tselem reported about two murders of unarmed Palestinian civilians on the Westbank by the IDF earlier this year.

I think there are two things necessary for positive change:

1) A collapse of faith in the bourgeois social order;
2) The growth of a network of directly democratic institutions that involve large numbers of people.

The second is, materially, more work. But people try all the time. Their work is co-opted, and that's where the lack of the first is most painfully felt.

"For the first time, a population-wide cohort of nearly 300,000 people tracked over 30 months has revealed that the so-called “safe and effective” COVID-19 shots are linked to alarming spikes in multiple forms of cancer.

Researchers followed every resident aged 11 and older in Italy’s Pescara province from June 2021 through December 2023, examining hospital records and adjusting for age, sex, prior health conditions, and even prior COVID infection.

The researchers allegedly found that those who received at least one vaccine dose had a much lower risk of dying from any cause compared to the unvaccinated, and this protective effect was even stronger in people who had three or more doses.

When looking at cancer, the picture was less clear. People who had been vaccinated appeared somewhat more likely to be hospitalized with a new cancer diagnosis than those who were unvaccinated, particularly for cancers of the breast, bladder, and colon.

However, this increased risk was only evident in people who had never been infected with COVID-19, and it disappeared—or even reversed—when the analysis required at least twelve months to pass between vaccination and a hospital admission for cancer.

Hospitalizations for cancer were 35% higher in vaccinated individuals versus the unvaccinated (HR 1.23).
The link was strongest in men and in those with no prior COVID infection.
Overall Cancer Risk: +23% after just one dose
Breast Cancer: +54% risk after vaccination
Bladder Cancer: +62% increased risk
Colorectal Cancer: +35% increased risk
Even after multiple doses, the risks remained elevated across the board.

The authors noted that vaccinated individuals are usually healthier, wealthier, and more likely to get preventative care, a phenomenon called the “healthy vaccinee bias.”

If anything, the numbers should have shown lower cancer rates. Instead, cancers surged. That means the real danger could be far worse than what the data shows.

Doctors and whistleblowers have been warning for years about sudden, aggressive cancers appearing in otherwise healthy people after the jab.

This study, alongside more than 100 other peer-reviewed papers, confirms the link between mRNA injections and deadly cancer pathways. A new medical term has even been coined: COVID-19 Vaccine-Induced “Turbo Cancer.”"

A good friend, Glenn, who was a radiation oncologist, had to get 2 Moderna jabs in order to keep practicing medicine at the cancer clinic & hospital he worked at. Glenn was diagnosed with turbo cancer on 12/28/24; died 5/4/25. He told me "unequivocally, the Moderna jabs caused his turbo cancer that would cause his death!

He was a pharmacist before becoming a radiation oncologist. I miss him terribly!!

sorry, but I am just a citizen with limited tools. The whole day I try to "cover" what is going on to the other side of the world. Trying to verify multiple sources. Trying to add photo description. Try to bring on the front sources that are not common.
On the other side, in Palestine, there is an ongoing genocide. Journalists killed in mass. Zionist entity has blocked international journos to cover these crimes. A lot of times the remained Palestinian journos are without internet connection.

Trumpism's core is not actually any political ideology per se, but instead what may be most briefly summarized as "Sycophantism".

The person who was the most sycophantic the most recently towards Trump gets what they request for a while,
which is then given political ideological direction through that to be able to reach the ability to express said sycophancy to and/or publicly about Trump where Trump will see it so it matters one must first pass through the far-right authoritarian courtiers, which of course acts as a sieve preventing people with other opinions from reaching that point if they try,
so the outcome will be far-right authoritarian but will also be extremely arbitrary in cases of people in Trump's court having opposing preferences, but the one with the most firm affinity established through previous boundless irrational praise and obedience will have the most access to influence who gets to demonstrate their pathological sycophancy to the newly established Supreme Leader of the Dictatorship of USA.
