Es gibt ja auch keine dringlichen Probleme, mit denen man sich befassen müsste. Hier sieht man, dass die, die am lautesten Demokratie schreien, keine Ahnung haben, was Demokratie überhaupt bedeutet. Vertreter des Volkes sollten sie sein und nicht "Ich hab die Fernbedienung, ich bestimme das Programm!".
Was man noch am #Selbstbestimmungsgesetz ändern könnte, wäre, dass Nichtbinäre und Trans-Menschen ein Recht auf einen Proformareisepass mit falscher (binärer bzw. biologischer) Geschlechtsidentität haben, damit sie auch in Länder reisen können, die korrekt ausgestellte Pässe nicht akzeptieren.

@LukefromDC I hear you. I agree with freeing political prisoners, i.e. dissidents. I'd be very cautious releasing ex ISIS (or other takfiri factions) into society. I'd be very cautious releasing criminals without vetting what they got sentenced for. As for torture camps, how about the Israeli prisons? Palestinian prisoners tortured for decades, tortured to death in cases. Where's the outrage? How about Guantanamo or many more states prisons where torture is routine.

Ni les agents de l’État ni les autres adultes ayant connaissance de cette situation ne la dénonceront aux autorités compétentes comme la loi leur en fait obligation. En 2007, M. #Jean-Michel Trogneux contracte officiellement mariage avec M. Emmanuel Macron, alors même que le mariage entre deux personnes du même sexe n’est autorisé par la loi que depuis 2013. The drone nonsense is so obviously a media froth, so obviously manufactured, so silly (were it not so pervasive), that it can only be understood in terms of the use of manufactured hysteria to dominate the news cycle(s).
There is no other reason for otherwise sane people to engage in such blatantly stupid and openly falsifiable nonsense.
The timing is deliberate. There have been aircraft in our skies on a consistent basis since forever. There have been commercial and consumer drones (which are being used to generate blurry footage to fuel that which is not obviously simply aircraft in the sky) for years and years. The internet has been around for quite a while as has YouTube, etc. What is happening now is not mere hysteria, it is an affirmative choice to do something.
We are about 5 weeks away from Trump's inauguration. In about ten days, we will enter the peak distraction time that runs from Christmas Eve through New Year's Day.
I am making the presumption that those still in power are doing everything that they possibly can stuff into these few weeks to line their pockets, cover their asses, and stick it to Trump.
The Biden administration's moves to auction off unused border wall sections are emblematic of this sort of thing. They will do everything fro the grand (more billions to Ukraine) to the petty (the wall section auction), etc., in the brief time they have left.
About all we can do at this point is try to avoid distraction, pay attention to whatever else we can see happening (and point it out!), and pray for Trump's safety until and beyond the inauguration.
There are over 160,000 professional (ATP rated) pilots in the USA. Exactly none of them would fly an aircraft worth many tens of millions of dollars, with many souls (including their own) on board, into airspace where there were drones of various sizes flitting about here and there at various altitudes.
Were these drones a reality, we would have dozens, perhaps hundreds, of aircraft on the ground with flight crews refusing to take off until the hazards in their area and in that of their intended landing were resolved.
Ignore the "look here not there" stuff and decide for yourself where your attention will be invested.
people here thought they were a hoax or exaggeration until more people saw them and matched planes the the flight app and yet there were still plenty of others there. They have started drone watch parties and NO ONE trusts what the government is saying. 🤷🏻♀️
It is just so hugely overt. Both in terms of obvious misidentification of planes, etc., and in terms of drones with big giant "look at me" lights in the cases where it appears they are in fact drones.
Quiet, unlit, and well equipped drones are widely available and if something fishy (other than a 'look here, not there" operation) were going on, I'd expect that they'd use these such that they would pretty much never be seen.
on a second note. These drones really do pose a problem for our aircraft. We have a small airport nearby as well as emergency helicopters. My daughter works in one. Also if they we weaponized, how do we as civilians protect ourselves? So we need some sort of metal umbrella to hide under? It’s something we all need to be aware of and involved in. I know they have some the size of dragonflies that can kill you.
I agree that they would be more stealthy if nefarious stuff was going on. What I find encouraging is how vocal and how many people don’t trust the government!! They are now more likely to question things and look for themselves than that have been for a long time. No more heads in the sand.

@bob my foray into linux was that i completely lost my shit with how much i hated windows. so i didnt even double boot. thankfully the two pieces of software i needed for school at the time, were both linux compatible AND the student version install discs had the linux version available. even then, i eventually replaced those with foss analogs lol. the phone i think will be a similar thing. i f'ing hate the smart phone. when i go linux, im going head first, and if people cant get a hold of me for a few days while i figure out... im not gonna be heartbroken about it ;)

Mich würde es keineswegs überraschen wenn da irgendwas schief läuft. Briefwahl Unterlagen zu spät verschickt, Stimmzettel fehlerhaft bedruckt oder nicht ausreichend Papier vorhanden, Wahlhelfer krank, irgendsowas. Oder irgendwas passiert bei der Auszählung so das dann die Wahl wiederholt werden muss.
