"They are flexing their powers and normalizing their fascist behavior by going after the most vulnerable and marginalized among us. They are punishing innocent immigrants, college students, and foreign academics. They have expanded their targets to include law firms, media companies, and judges, and it will eventually include anyone who dares defy their authoritarian dictates."

True @csa
Yet at least it's something and quite useful for your own memory.
Seeing the post's just pushes you into time and space.

Also, I did this in that case from another pod, so the links actually can point to pod.geraspora.de for example, that way maybe this could work.

I also asked David, as well as in the moment joindiaspora went down, if they couldn't turn the page into a static page cutting off federation communication. That would turn such a site into kind a graveyard with no more maintenance need and only few expenses I guess.
But the response was more like .. "who cares" ..

A pity, actually I think such sites should always offer the hand over to the community by default. As in this case diasporg diasporians just found out, the benevolent dictator idea is a shitty one ..

The mastodon server troet.cafe was about to go down. A overwhelmed admin was helplessly behind with the updates and so on. Another admin stepped in, took over the maintenance part and now troet is up to date and happily running.

There are important lessons to make in all these events, the fedi community came a long way. Backup setups and agreements between admins and servers and all that is mandatory if we want a resilient space that doesn't die because users get feed up because of loosing every once in a while everything.

Also we are facing a free rider mentality by all those who come from the walled gardens where the money is made with the user data and advertisement that doesn't work. digital.courage came up with mandatory once a year payment for any account. And they are right in my opinion.

The recent discovery of undocumented commands in the ESP32 Bluetooth chip, used in over a billion devices, has raised significant concerns about Bluetooth security. However, it is essential to separate fact from speculation and address each topic individually.

## **Bluetooth Security Flaw: ESP32 Chip**

The ESP32 chip, manufactured by Espressif, is a widely used microcontroller that supports both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. Recent research by Tarlogic Security revealed 29 undocumented Host Controller Interface (HCI) commands in the ESP32 chip, which could potentially be exploited for malicious activities such as device impersonation, unauthorized data access, and memory manipulation[1][3][5].

While these commands are not traditional backdoors, they do pose a security risk if exploited. The vulnerability, classified as CVE-2025-27840, has a medium severity rating with a CVSS score of 6.8[5][7]. However, exploiting these commands typically requires physical access to the device, which limits the practical threat[6].

### **Mitigation Measures**

To protect against potential threats, users can take several steps:

- **Keep Firmware Updated:** Regularly update device firmware to ensure any patches or fixes are applied.
- **Disable Unused Bluetooth:** Turn off Bluetooth when not in use to reduce exposure.
- **Enhance Network Security:** Enable advanced security features on routers to detect suspicious activity[2][4].

## **Nanobots in Vaccines and Health Risks**

The claim about nanobots in vaccines causing health risks, such as heart explosions, is unfounded and lacks scientific evidence. Vaccines undergo rigorous testing and regulatory approval processes to ensure safety and efficacy. There is no credible scientific research supporting the presence of nanobots in vaccines or the notion that vaccinated individuals are at risk of such catastrophic health outcomes.

### **Addressing Misinformation**

Misinformation about vaccines and nanobots can lead to unnecessary fear and mistrust of public health measures. It is crucial to rely on credible sources and scientific consensus when evaluating health risks and benefits.

## **Conclusion**

While the Bluetooth security flaw in the ESP32 chip is a legitimate concern that warrants attention and mitigation, claims about nanobots in vaccines are baseless and should be dismissed. It is essential to approach such topics with a critical perspective, separating factual risks from speculative or unfounded claims.

(The Guardian lies - original in English, see bottom link)
Arnaud Bertrand:

The place where I had lunch, yesterday, is next to ther unused field. A woman was walking past that field. She was about 250 feet from me. As she was walking a goose charged out of that field at attacked her. She screamed, and ran while trying to fend it off. It stayed on her for some time. Im sure it was unsettling for her, but watching it was quite amusing. Had I been closer, I would have helped her out but there was no chance I could get to her fast enough to be of any use.

This reminds me of something a buddy of mine witnessed while we were on a phone call together.

Two teenage girls, walking down the street opposite of where he was standing. Suddenly, a golden retriever comes out from behind a fence, jumps up on one of the girls, and begins humping the shit out of her leg. Right then, a female duck that was nearby but out of sight somewhere starts making that laughing quack sound that they do.

It took about three minutes for my buddy to stop laughing.

RW leaders and followers for centuries have been too clueless to really understand/care that oppressing others for power is wrong.

They lack that (damned simple) understanding BECAUSE they have very little access to their -own- emotional states, so they can't form real convictions, they can only mimic what they think "alpha types" "are supposed to be like"

And these losers have no ability to access their own real emotions... BECAUSE they've been told by other losers that emotions are "weak"

@violetmadder I think much more of it than most folks realize has to do with conditioning AND opportunity.

Obviously, people do have widely differing amounts of all kinds of stuff, including trait -tendencies- baked into who they are, but if the cultures they live in don't support uses for certain tendencies, then they maybe don't become as…problematic/relevant?

Cultural Anthropology and Post Colonial studies … really can show how much cultural conditioning can and does affect people.

On Commenting

Etiquette of commenting in the internet

In Iran, there is a course in the school system called "Parvareshi" meaning nurture. The purpose of the class is still unknown to the people. The course didn't have any regular textbook, instead, the teacher, lectured about religious topics besides the Religious courses. The topic was either on the harms of masturbation, heaven and hell, society, and or the etiquette of greeting, the etiquette of eating and drinking, the etiquette of speaking, etc. The etiquette of greeting for example was something like this:

"If somebody says 'Salam' (Hi) your response must be longer than him/her, something like 'Salam Aleykom' (Hello to you) and so on!"

The course content was usually meaningless, but it's good to obey some of the etiquette.

I remember that I wrote a message on my personal Telegram channel, and then one of my commented that 'Boy, you write so good. Bravo'. That comment was not informative. I think that comments should carry information or ask a question or start a conversation.

Leave comments, suitable comments.

The Signal issue really boils down to one thing.

Though the information surreptitiously captured wasn't "Classified", everything that comes out of D.C. and the DoD is classified as sensitive at a minimum.

Hegseth should know this, I can guarantee DJT does, and I know it as well because of my occupation.

Just admit a mistake was made, that proper CUI (Controlled Unclassified Information) protocols, at a minimum, were not adhered to and stop with the spin.

The Truth shall set you free, indeed

More than 1,000 people have died in the Myanmar earthquake, and the death toll could reach 10,000, the U.S. Geological Survey says.

There are currently 2,376 known victims. There is no internet or electricity in the country's capital.

Two planes with Russian rescuers were sent to Myanmar to eliminate the consequences. And India delivered 15 tons of humanitarian aid for the victims - tents, food, medicine and essential items.
