Why compare it with rechargeable batteries if it's not rechargeable. Compare it with non-rechargeable alkaline or lithium batteries.

Or so they thought. The Senate bill had typos that essentially nullified the growth triggers and would eliminate the income tax nearly as quickly as the House proposed. The House passed the flawed bill on to the governor, who signed it into law Thursday.

My mother was a nurses aid for a number of years at a nursing home... they required employees to have a yearly Flu shot...

she died at age 67 and only one of her co-workers made it past the age of 70... she died at 72.

Those early deaths saved a lot of money for the pension fund. And unlike a personal retirement accounts such as a 401K, the money she paid into the pension fund did not go to her heirs... the State of New York kept it. She could have chosen a plan that paid money to her heirs but it would have cut her monthly check in half - so that wasn't really an option.

Man facing assault charges after stabbing reported in Dartmouth halifax.citynews.ca/2025/03/31…
“While officers were on scene, a second man approached them advising that he was stabbed when he confronted the man who assaulted the woman,” police said in a media release. “Both victims were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.” HRP says neither victim knew the suspect. A 35-year-old man was arrested a short time later and is charged with aggravated assault among other charges. Police say the man is expected in court at a later date.
