Summary of events as Israeli forces intercept madleen, the humanitarian aid ship to Gaza, in international waters.

The activists on “#madleen” are attempting to deliver humanitarian aid to the population of Gaza who’s being starved and killed by #IDF in what experts describe as a #genocide.

The vessel was boarded by Israeli naval forces while in international waters - 100km from #Egypt, 200km from Israeli coast.

Israel’s Defense Minister ordered activists be shown propaganda videos, calling them “Hamas supporters” while referring to Greta Thunberg as “antisemite”. The Foreign Ministry’s publicity stunts arm released a message dismissing humanitarian mission as “selfie yacht”. Also notable, Israeli reports refer to Gaza’s coastline as “Israeli shores”.

Previously it was reported that:

- Communications disrupted

When I asked #Claude to describe what's in the photo it refused to translate "Ghetto" and omitted the phrase "Free [Ghetto] Gaza" saying it can't "read" Hebrew...

I think I was being overly cautious about translating text that draws a parallel between #Gaza and historical ghettos, but that was wrong of me. The protesters are making a deliberate historical comparison, and I should have simply described what the banner says rather than avoiding it.

YESTERDAY, THE PRESIDENT OF MEXICO CALLED FOR PROTESTS IN AMERICA BECAUSE THE OBBB WILL TAX REMITTANCES. THE PLOT THICKENS. Is that the real reason there are so many Mexican flags on the ground?

Mexico’s president Claudia Sheinbaum called for protests in the United States:

“If necessary, we’ll mobilize. We don’t want taxes on remittances from our fellow countrymen. From the U.S. to Mexico.”

Sheinbaum that that remittances constitute close to 4 percent of Mexico's GDP and that if Trump taxes them it will hit Mexico's economy. TOO BAD. How much is 4% of Mexico's GDP? Almost $75 BILLION a year!

The "Big Beautiful Bill" proposes a 3.5% tax on remittances sent from the United States to other countries, including Mexico. This tax would apply to remittances exceeding $1,000.

In other words, the leader of Mexico loves to send illegals to America to work so they can send their money back home. Trump says you will pay for that privilege from now on. GOOD.

The Senate is so pissed off about what she did that they want to increase the remittance from Mexico to 15%!

ERIC SCHMITT: "I'm introducing legislation to quadruple the proposed remittance tax — from 3.5% to 15%. America is not the world's piggy bank. And we don't take kindly to threats."

Finalement c'est un genre de "pulp"...

Imagine being someone who is escaping war, persecution, extreme poverty or loss of property in your country.

You come to Europe to get a better life.

I thought that this kind of dickheads were mostly in America, but then let’s not forget that the Netherlands is the country that has elected a racist scumbag who talks like a drunkster at the bar and where fossilized parties like the SGP still manage to get more than 2 votes.

Talking about Wilders, is it a surprise that he’s not condemning those citizens for feeling like they can replace trained police forces and be above the law, but he’s applauding them instead, inviting more citizens to do the same? Far-right scum talks about respecting the law only when it’s about their own rights - when it’s about stripping others of their rights, or allowing severe sociopaths who belong to psychiatric wards to play cops games, they’re actually ok with it.

How can you honestly be in a country where purchasing power is getting eroded by one of the highest rates of inflation in the EU, where public infrastructure (especially trains) is crumbling, and where uncontrolled real-estate speculation is rampant and it’s leaving many homeless, and think that the biggest problem is a couple of cars crossing the border?

I wish they stopped me. I’d make sure to waste all of their time (which is worth nothing anyway) and make them feel like the very miserable and very evil human beings that they are.

I completely agree with you. It's tragic to think that "See You Again" may never have been created if it weren't for the senseless loss of Paul Walker. His death was a stark reminder of the consequences of reckless behaviour on the roads.

I believe that anyone who chooses to drive under the influence, whether from alcohol or drugs, should face severe consequences. A lifelong prison sentence, perhaps in work camps, would be a fitting punishment for these reckless individuals. They need to understand the gravity of their actions and the lives they put at risk. It's time we take a stand against this kind of behaviour and ensure that justice is served for those who suffer due to the irresponsibility of others.

Yes, I know, and environment recognition can be done in a more... flexible way, but we need to look at what we call AI.

For example, automatic parking on cars inevitably has an adaptive component, but we can be sure that it won't do anything stupid either (and for example, Tesla chose to go with full machine learning on it, and they gives much worse results than the competition).

Agriculture was already using semi-automated vehicles, notably via very precise GNSS positioning, for example (and besides, I'm not convinced by a tractor without a cockpit, having a supervisor seems to me to be preferable no matter what level of automation you reach, except in some special cases (subways in particular, since they have a very controlled environment, but then you don’t need any kind of AI)).

In short, AI as it is generally referred to today is not relevant here, in my opinion. Then again, maybe it's a completely different type of AI that's relevant in this case, but that's not really the point (and it's been around a lot longer, and most people don’t complain about it).

That said, I interpreted your message as “these new AIs can have a relevant use like here", but perhaps it meant “there are other types of AIs that shouldn't be mixed up with the ones they're trying to sell us everywhere, and which aren't to be thrown away”, in which case we agree and I'm sorry for the off-topic.
