There’s roughly 565 billionaires in the United States, the most anywhere in the world. Their $ value is somewhere in the $6 trillion range.
If Uncle Sam taxed them just one penny on the dollar, the annual tax would be about $60 billion dollars.
They wouldn’t miss it.
Once a person earns $1B, then they are automatically taxed a billionaire tax $0.01.
No loopholes! They can pay other taxes too. The $0.01 tax stays.
It’s the least they can do for society. $60B a year can help so many people!
