Président Pezeshkian : «Vous me faites rire !

Building an Affordable Website with Minimalist Design Principles

In this way, minimalist design not only makes good business sense—it also opens the door to creativity and innovation, proving that “cheap” doesn’t have to mean compromised quality.

For small businesses and entrepreneurs, building an online presence is no longer optional—it’s essential. Yet, the cost of a professional website can often feel like a significant barrier. This is where minimalist design principles can bridge the gap, offering an elegant, functional solution without the hefty price tag. With the right approach, achieving a sleek and user-friendly site through cheap web design is not only possible but also practical, paving the way for accessibility without sacrificing aesthetics.

The essence of minimalist design lies in its simplicity. It’s about stripping away the superfluous to reveal the core message. But simplicity doesn’t equate to a lack of sophistication. In fact, a well-executed minimalist website can appear far more polished and intentional than a site crammed with graphics and information. Using a few carefully chosen elements, a cheap web designer can create an interface that is not only visually appealing but also enhances user experience. When done correctly, this approach guides the visitor’s attention to what truly matters—be it a product, service, or piece of content.

Minimalism and affordability go hand in hand. By focusing on clean lines, ample white space, and restrained use of color, cheap web design avoids unnecessary complexity that drives up costs. Without the need for elaborate animations, high-resolution imagery, or custom coding, the project becomes more streamlined. Each decision—every button placement, every font choice—is deliberate, minimizing both design hours and resource usage. For startups and businesses with limited budgets, this approach ensures that their online presence is impactful without becoming a financial strain.

There is also a functional advantage to embracing minimalist design. Simpler websites typically load faster and are easier to navigate, making them more appealing to users. They also tend to perform better on search engines, thanks to their straightforward structure and lower bounce rates.

These benefits amplify the value of working with a cheap web designer who understands how to balance aesthetics with functionality. When each element is meticulously chosen, every dollar spent contributes to a cohesive and compelling digital experience that feels anything but “cheap.”

Despite these advantages, achieving an effective minimalist website is not as simple as it appears. Paring down a design requires an experienced eye to ensure that what remains is both purposeful and engaging. This is where finding the right Singapore cheap web designer becomes crucial. Someone skilled in minimalist principles can transform a limited budget into a visually striking and highly functional website, where each component serves a clear purpose. The final result? A site that feels spacious and effortless, yet is packed with subtle, impactful details.

As more businesses turn to minimalist web design, the demand for affordable solutions is on the rise. And for good reason. Minimalist sites are timeless and adaptable, ensuring they remain relevant even as design trends change. By emphasizing quality over quantity, a cheap web designer can craft a digital space that resonates with audiences, regardless of industry or niche. It’s an approach that prioritizes the user’s journey, ensuring that visitors feel comfortable and engaged from the first click to the last.

Ultimately, building a minimalist website on a budget isn’t about cutting corners—it’s about making strategic choices. It’s about understanding what truly matters to your audience and presenting it in a way that’s clear, elegant, and uncluttered. With the help of a cheap web designer who understands these principles, you can create a site that embodies sophistication and utility, all while staying within your financial means.

In this way, minimalist design not only makes good business sense—it also opens the door to creativity and innovation, proving that “cheap” doesn’t have to mean compromised quality.

Gabino: 61 Years After This Insurgent Feat

By: Comandante Nicolás Rodríguez Bautista (Gabino)

To the Colombian people, to the comrades of the National Liberation Army (ELN), I greet you with a fraternal embrace, which carries revolutionary and humanist motivations, on the 61st anniversary of this insurgent feat that we are about to commemorate this July 4.

Continuing today to accompany with our modest efforts the struggles of the people and the nation is worthy of note, for all the challenges we have had to overcome and the sacrifices assumed, to place dignity and commitment on high.

Other sister guerrilla forces that accompanied us on a stretch of the road, abandoned the path of the armed uprising and opted for other paths that we respect, but we differ from it.

It is true that in this more than half a century, there have been important changes in the life of the country, the world and undeniable developments in the life of humanity.

However, in Colombia, despite such changes, the economic, political and social causes that originated the armed uprising and the popular and guerrilla resistance are still in force, so the legitimacy of rebellion as a right of the people is not in question.

The fact that the ELN exists today as an insurgent force, in constant development, maintaining its principles, its program, its guidelines, a defined strategy and a coherent historical thread, reaffirms our points of view in this regard.

After the Social Outbreak of 2021 that made possible the election of a president from the popular sectors and with progressive thinking, several friends called on us to reconsider the continuity of being insurgents, to join forces in the government of change.

Dialogues were established with this government and agreements were made that aimed to find a political solution to the conflict, in order to solve the causes that originated the social and armed conflict in Colombia.

The government did not comply with what was agreed, because it maintains the same formula as the previous ones: demobilization, disarmament and reintegration of the insurgency.

This failed formula is not accepted by the ELN, among other things because at different times it has developed and the guerrillas always lose, the struggle for change is affected, the ruling class wins and violence increases.

The ELN knows that the indispensable changes to overcome the causes that originated the conflict, make it essential to unite, form alliances and coordinate among all of us who fight for it, even if we have differences or are of a different character, that is why in the ranks of the fighters there is no room for exclusion, this is the imposing practice of the ruling class.

All the efforts for the well-being of the people add up to the struggle and we do not underestimate them, however, we reiterate that the essential objective of the popular and revolutionary struggle are the economic, political and social changes that overcome the causes that originated the armed uprising and this commitment we reiterate today from our insurgent character.

Our being internationalist makes us in solidarity with all the peoples and nations of the world, who resist and fight for their liberation, to throw off the imperialist yoke.

The criminal genocide of the Palestinian people makes us more sensitive to our revolutionary anti-imperialist commitment.

Compañeras, compañeros elenos, firmness, loyalty and revolutionary commitment make us honor those who in these 61 years have given their lives with dignity, next to countless men and women of the people.

Today we continue to hold their flags aloft to shout with them: Not one Step Back… Liberation or Death!

Israel Planning Huge Concentration Camp

theguardian.com/world/2025/jul…

Israel Katz said he has ordered Israel’s military to prepare for establishing a camp, which he called a “humanitarian city”, on the ruins of the city of Rafah, Haaretz newspaper reported. Palestinians would go through “security screening” before entering, and once inside would not be allowed to leave,

Emmanuel Florac reshared this.

"The dumbest move in tech right now: laying off developers because of AI."

"Let's be real about the state of software today. Most products are, at best, 'good enough' -- unintuitive, buggy, and frustrating to use. Whether it's consumer apps, enterprise software, or, even worse, developer tools, the experience is far from perfect despite all the claims about user-centric design, delightful experiences, empathy for the user, blah blah."

"As a product manager, I've lived with the same painful reality for years: engineering is always the critical bottleneck. That new feature your users keep asking for -- the one you know would drive revenue? Still marked as 'coming soon.' That brilliant UX improvement that could increase adoption or engagement? 'Definitely next quarter... probably.' That bug driving your users crazy? 'We'll triage it right after this sprint -- promise.'"

"This isn't a criticism of developers -- quite the opposite. It's simple math: there are roughly 29 million software developers worldwide serving over 5.4 billion internet users. That's one developer for every 186 users, each with unique requirements and preferences, all increasingly dependent on software for every aspect of their lives."

"Now, with AI-assisted coding, we have an unprecedented opportunity to invest more (artificial) resources to dramatically improve software quality and user experience. Yet headlines are filled with executives viewing these emerging AI capabilities primarily as cost-cutting measures -- a chance to achieve current output with fewer developers. This mindset fundamentally misunderstands AI's true potential, which isn't to maintain the status quo (of low quality products), but to amplify output by an order of magnitude."

Unfortunately, this is written with the belief that "AI transforms each developer into a 10x developer." Maybe it will some day. But right now, AI 10xs some tasks, and whether a developer can go 10x faster depends on what tasks their job consists of. What's clear, though, is that most non-programmers (managers, the public, etc) believe AI tools 10x developer productivity (or at least 5x it), and pretty much all developers now are "AI tools" developers trying to 10x their productivity with AI. It seems like over the last year, resistance to AI tools vanished and at this point, all developers are on board. That's how it seems subjectively -- will be interesting to see an actual poll and see how close we are to 100%.

Like many people, I stopped being interested in the MCU after "Endgame". My wife and I saw every movie up to and including that one. We have all of them on DVD or Blu-ray except "Age of Ultron" which we somehow missed purchasing and didn't like enough to bother at this point.

The only ones we've watched more than once were "Captain America: The First Avenger", "Guardians of the Galaxy", and "Thor: Ragnarok". The rest were entertaining but not so amazing we had to revisit them.

Phase 4 was the first one with homework and neither of us liked that. We have Disney+ so we could watch it all. With that said, our favorite Marvel TV show is still "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D". We watched every Netflix show except "Iron Fist". The only MCU canon shows we watched were S1 of "Loki", S1 of "What if", "She-Hulk", and "Werewolf by Night". Oh, and the "Guardians of the Galaxy Christmas Special". "She-Hulk" was our favorite of the bunch.

We also enjoyed most of the Marvel Television shows that were abandoned. We watched just about all of them.

  • Hellstrom
  • Runaways
  • Cloak and Dagger
  • Inhumans

We are both glad that Deadpool and the Fox X-Men are canon now, but it's not enough to make us care about the MCU again.

What I'm saying is: the tighter Disney grips the MCU, the worse it gets. No experimentation. No surprises. No creativity. They keep hiring talented filmmakers and actors and then taking away what makes them great.

What's their "Endgame"?

Are they shoveling shit to prep us for 100% AI Slop content? Maybe?

I mean, bringing back RDJ for Dr. Doom? That's the safest but also dumbest move. Did anybody predict that? It's ridiculous. But it will get people in the theater because he is a known quantity. I hear he is earning $100,000,000 for the role. That's were the money goes.

Israel's army has been attacking displaced Palestinians in Gaza. Strikes killed more than 60 Palestinians on Monday.

One hit a car and killed three people near al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City. Others were shot while trying to get food from an Israeli and US-backed distribution site in Rafah.

At least five were killed and another 40 wounded.

Al Jazeera's Moath al-Kahlout reports from al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza City.

A Palestinian family from Qalqilya in the occupied West Bank recounts how Israeli soldiers have harassed them for decades with arrests and detentions, before ultimately damaging their home with explosives.

Akif Nazzal, 54, a former prisoner from Qalqilya, was first arrested in 1988 at the age of 16 and a half. He spent eight years in Israeli prisons, during which he was subjected to harsh interrogation.
