I've seen the past exonerative tense before, but the present continuous exonerative tense is special!
"Black women's unemployment is rising."🤡
All by itself? Magically?
The entire US, Dem and GOP, is going on close to 24 months straight of being publicly and loudly anti-civil rights (anti-DEI).
"Black women are more likely to work in the departments targeted by DOGE."
is like saying,
"Harbor seals are more likely to be found swimming in the water that happens to be rushing into a great white shark's rapidly opening mouth."🤡
Dudes have been open and vocal about their desire to drive Black women out of leadership positions in the federal government, higher education, and private industry. That's their goal.
And yet, we still talk about these outcomes as if they're just an unfortunate side effect of generalized downturns.
Jobs report: Rise in Black women's unemployment could be economic sign
New data released Thursday from the Bureau of Labor Statistics marked the third straight month of high unemployment rates for Black women.Chabeli Carrazana (19th News)

Also, my synopsis is right there:
> You can't have race and class: you'll win neither contest/war. Battles aren't wars: race and identity have lost most of the hills they won from 2020-2024.
I share things across Buffer from when I am doing my reading. I don't really consider anyone actually reading anything I post, to be honest.
If someone paid me to newsshare, I would stop and translate everything through archive.li

And the citation is just optional. I don't care if anyone clicks through, I only care if people read this far:
> The useful political lesson from Zohran Mamdani’s college application

in reply to Chris ABRAHAM • • •Full Article Synopsis:
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
> Zohran Mamdani’s old college app highlights how America’s rigid race boxes fail messy real identities. He checked “Black” and “Asian” because he’s Ugandan-born, Indian-heritage — but our system lumps “non-White” into crude buckets. The uproar shows how racial identity is policed, politicized, and still misunderstood.

Just another in a long line of leftist hypocrites, when it comes right down to it.

I grew up in Hawaii and since everyone's a poidog (a mutt/mongrel) I would always tell all the little kids that I was Irish, English, German, Czechoslovakian, and Hungarian.
I later found out that I am just a fucking haole.
How reductive.
