I revealed that even though "Gobbler" was an app on employees phones, that Apple tried to say was opt-in and on device, uploaded a ton of information itself, but also all information via iCloud backups including pics, GPS, biometrics, etc. Apple also used the employee app to get pics & biometrics of non-employees, and said employees can't tell anyone its happening.

To me, that's Apple admitting its actually engaged in misconduct, and openly admitting it thinks any evidence of it violating people's privacy is confidential, and it will enforce that as much as it can. Its the complete opposite of openness & privacy by design. It's the illusion of privacy by NDA.

Anxiety is beating my ass this week. I have about a dozen things to do and *alllllll* of my neurodivergent traits (or at least my anti-capitalist/anti-productivity ones) are activated. Avoidance, persistent-desire-for-autonomy, missing executive function, plus folks are checking in on me to see if I've made phone calls (I haven't) and this paradoxically makes it more difficult to make the phone calls.
I have tools to overcome some or most of this but - and I cannot stress this strongly enough - I do not want to use them.
Anyway, if I can do 2 of the 12 things today I'll go easier on myself, but right now I'm not being kind to myself in any way.
My first rule of handling mental illness is to always be kind to myself, so I need to come around to following that first rule again if I'm gonna get out of this funk.
I think I'm also just flatly *exhausted*. Personal life stuff and world news stuff have worn me down. A kindness I can offer myself is recognizing this as true, and acknowledging it's normal to feel like this. Poverty/disability/housing insecurity take work just to survive, and fascism takes work just to survive. I'm not deficient in humanity because I feel like this, I feel like this because I'm a human being experiencing stress.
