50 people on board the Louise Michel

Yesterday our crew were made aware of a boat in distress via the emergency hotline AlarmPhone.

Late last night all 50 people from a wooden double decker boat were able to safely come on board the Louise Michel.

After over a day at sea everyone on board the vessel is exhausted with some needing to be treated by our medical staff.

We are now on route to our asigend port of safety in Sicily.

No one should be forced to get into unseaworthy boats in search of safety.

Freedom of movement for all!
