A group of 27 former EU ambassadors has urged the bloc to suspend its association agreement with Israel, citing serious violations of international law in Gaza.

Israeli forces have exhumed graves and stolen bodies from the Turkish Cemetery in western Khan Younis, according to Gazaโs Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs. The incident took place at dawn on Thursday, July 10, a brutal military raid.

I was listening to a compilation of old top gear episodes where they talk about American cars.
Only slightly interested in cars at all but the 3 guys are good.
I notice a theme off American cars having shit handling around corners and bends. Fair enough. You havenโt got any.
But then also the theme of massive big motors, and then you get less horsepower than a small European city car. 6L V8 motor and it makes like 180 horsepower.

I think Gruber took on the extra load (perl spaghetti?) to make it more logical in use โ probably never envisioning itโs popularity or endless reimplementations, having predated our GitHub style open source collaborative explosion and probably only ever considering the CPAN Perl archive (at most, if at all).

in reply to Aral Balkan • • •Iโve heard him admit some quirks / shortsightedness, but I think heโd repeat some unless the markup could remain natural to writers. The conventions grew from text email and newsgroups, where they were never intended to be read as formatted html.
The other was to make it look as little like โmarkupโ as possible, and therefore, intuitive (the basic emphasis, bullets and headers are easily understood โ even if reference links and tables are harder to write/dev than to read).
