I like getting noticed by animals. I forgot to say, but yesterday on my walk back from the Y I passed the used-bookstore-cats standing in front of their used bookstore. One cat was doing it's own thing with a dandelion bush (maybe eating bugs?) but the other was clearly looking to get pets, and when it saw me looking at it, its whole body changed, switching from alert to beckoning.
I pet the being, it kneaded the pavement in that kitty-cat way, but gave me nail-on-chalkboard-secondhand sensations, but otherwise it was a pleasant interaction. I feel both our days were improved by the meeting.

Gonna go look at a bachelor apartment this afternoon. I hope it's suitable; this place I'm at has been good, but I know I will do better someplace where I have my own bathroom and kitchen. For someone with social anxiety, these are necessary accommodations, but I struggle articulating that and I don't think our housing system has the resources to fulfill it, anyway.
This place I'm looking at is about the same distance from all my current amenities (library, YMCA, grocery store), and while it doesn't have a back yard it looks like it might have a balcony/porch, which I could use for container gardening. It's available September 1st, which gives me time to get my moving ducks in a row, if I want it and get it.
When that's done, I'm calling it a day: no more nothing for the week. The 8 or 9 other things I didn't do this week will have to wait until Monday at the earliest.

Das Problem ist ja eher, dass #Spahn kein Dilettant ist. Er ist auch nicht dumm. Als dumm oder dilettantisch wรคre er nicht dahin gekommen, wo er jetzt ist.
Er ist oportunistisch und dissozial, vielleicht sogar sozio- oder psychopathisch. Eigenschaften, die er mit einer groรen Anzahl an der aktuellen Regierung beteiligten Personen teilt.
Dilettantismus klingt nach unabsichtlicher Unfรคhigkeit. Es ist aber Vorsatz.
