Fuuuuck, I hate it when the streaming source for an anime I'm watching starts constantly buffering. And before someone suggests I torrent, I'm gonna try but the only torrent I can find on Nyaa for the whole series has 7 seeders and 12 leechers
I'll be honest, Nyaa has always been the most consistent for me whenever it comes to seeders. On other sites I might see something say 100 seeders and it'll have mediocre to bad download speeds. Nyaa? Those things can have 2 seeders and a prayer and they'll blaze still. I'd grab the 7 seeder torrent just for the hell of it.
why do you need to download everything at once. add the first ep and go from there. if the speed is fast enough you can even watch it while its downloading with sequential order
@DarkMahesvara @Iffine I'm not downloading everything at once. I'm downloading the last 25 episodes of the series. If I were downloading everything at once, it would take even longer since the series is 140 episodes long

@DarkMahesvara Clearly the strategy is to prepare a NAS for media storage and constantly download anything you may be interested in at any point ever. Can't worry about waiting times if there's a constant supply of it all.
I say this having downloaded PriPara with no real time spent watching it. I might just also be insane. Definitely a possibility considering there's a GameCenterCX collection there. Cursed folder.
@DarkMahesvara That's fair. It's worth it though. The one I'm using is only 6 TB but it's done damn well. Really, and this is kinda dumb, but in my view it's not a bad idea to instead of getting a big NAS, get several smaller ones. Get a decently sized one for media, another one for backups, etc.
@Iffine @DarkMahesvara I don't intend to get a physically big NAS, but I would like each bay to have a 4TB drive in it. That's why it would be so expensive.
@DarkMahesvara Well, yeah. Not exactly expecting you to buy a server rack mountable one. I did mean in storage as well. Still though depending on how many slots you'd be looking for in the NAS, 4TB HDDs aren't that unreasonable of purchases (at least, from a tech pricing standpoint). HDDs in general are pretty reasonable in pricing so long as you're not buying bulk (again, would depend on how many slots you'd want in the NAS).
@Iffine you really don't need a NAS in most cases. just get a internal HDD 4 to 24TB and put in in your PC or even external USB hub.
a NAS is good if you wanna access the data from multiple other device inside your network, need larger storage pools than possible with a single HDD (+24TB), need high uptime in case of a failure and increased data integrity (bitrot).

Pharmacists don't like it but I got pulmonary and cardio thoracic surgeon docs to order it. It liquifies the secretions to be able to cough them out easier. And I've used it myself. The key is to stay hydrated enough to actually hydrate the secretions.

It’s a bit cheaper here during the summer using gas. We usually get a decent spring and fall where we don’t need heating or cooling. The ac costs during the summer can get pretty brutal though.
@Murray_N my astonishment is that our house is from the 1930ies (!), no insulation, windows in the stair hallway are one glass original and the roof is just a roof. Yet we seem to have such a low bill compared to houses built recently across the world.
