Not here - our summers begin in September. We are next to a very cold ocean, so in July/August the hot air (and thus low pressure) in the interior draws cold air and fog onto us. Then as the interior begins to cool the interior gets higher pressure and the winds reverse, sending warm air from the interior onto us.
We will be in fire season until the first significant rains - probably late November.
