I never had a OLED handheld, Display or TV. I guess it helps brightness in direct sunlight? I hope it can be turned down indoors at night enough that it is comparable to the old Deck. I'm not trying to burn my retinas.
Its Special Edition, I expect it to sell out. WiFi 6 sounds nice and I do love the look how it reminds me of the Xbox 360 glory days and even Xbox Y2K and 90s Nintendo tech too.
I may have to sell my Deck and buy the upgrade. Valve is a champion for us after all.

One of those [consequences] is being subject to the pressure of a foreign government.The U.S. has laws in place that force tech companies to release their data to US intelligence agencies as well as businesses or government agencies when a court mandates it. This can even happen under a gag order, so the entity which has its data handed over will not know about it – or only long after it happened. In short, foreign data is at risk and could be compromised at anytime whenever it is being held by US based companies. Note the wording – this extends beyond US borders! Even data in an European data center is subject to the US CLOUD Act, signed by US president Donald Trump. Despite international efforts to remedy the situation, even the EU-US Trans-Atlantic Data Privacy framework does not eradicate the risk involved.

So what is clear so far, concerning the pedal board, I wanted a stomp tuner. And the Petersons are best. You can use it as kill switch as well, so I don't need to turn the volume knob every time in breaks, and it can buffer the bypass signal and it supports the 432Hz I somehow got used to tune to (No, I don't think it makes you more healthy. I think the resonance pattern pictures you can sometimes see are nonsense, because standing waves are dependent on the vessel. And these earth resonance frequencies do not really match the 432 Hz exactly if I understood that right. It's just that there's a real movement to that 432 Hz, as far as I know many orchestras don't tune to 440 anyway because it's too high for some singers -- probably especially the Queen of the Night and such -- and, well, if someone says "Hey let's try it a different way", I'm quick to say "Why not". And it's a bit deeper too.)
So the Peterson is great. And a low octaver is also a must. I almost always have one on since I have this guitar. But the Boss will make it sound much better. I can use the dry-out and process the mid signal further while I can play a bass from the signal out. Cool. The OC-5 also has this great range function: You can make it so that it only processes the low tones you play.
I'm curious to see how that develops. So far, by the way, almost everything is still completely undistorted. No metal. Zero. The tube on the old preamp is broken and the existing multi-effect in the Zoom interface has amp simulations and distortions, but it all sounds like shit. I'm flirting with the Lichtlärm stuff (that means "light noise". But that's pretty expensive. And I don't know yet how I'm going to find my sound. After all, Daniel Ringl, the Lichtlärm maker, is here in town. I could simply go by one day and pick out a pedal. Maybe "Gehenna".
