As a celebration of the Week of Free Expression this May, the Central Public Library of Berlin exhibited a display of books banned in school libraries in the USA in 2025.
The ZLB is also called the America Memorial Library of Berlin. It was built in the 50s with a major donation from the USA's public diplomacy program with the explicit goal to reeducate Nazi Germans towards democracy.
It is a short walk away from Bebel Square, location of a memorial to a grand public book burning by the Nazis in May 1933.

Keine Frage für "Rechtfertigung und Verherrlichung" der Taten der Hamas vom 7.10.23 hab ich selbstverständlich kein Verständnis, das kann - je nach Interpretation - durchaus zurecht strafbar sein.
Das pauschal der BDS-Bewegung in Gänze zu unterstellen ist natürlich auch gelinde gesagt ein bisschen arg diffamierend.

Im rechtlichen Sinne gibt's kein juristisches Existenzrecht von Staaten - nur ein juristisches Selbstbestimmungsrecht von Völkern.
>>den Staat Israel im internationalen Kontext zu verhindern<< beschreibt grundsätzlich immer das was man mit einem Boykott eines Staates erreichen möchte - nämlich mit friedlichen Mitteln der Zivilgesellschaft oder von Staaten Druck aufzubauen, damit ein Staat ein unerwünschtes - völkerrechtlich problematisches - Verhalten abstellt.
Das ist bei Boykotten/Embargo gegen Russland so. Und das war so beim Apartheitsregime in Südafrika.
Im Rechtsgutachten des internationalen Gerichtshof von vor knapp einen Jahr hat dieser klar gesagt (relativ unabhängig von den Kriegshandlungen in Gaza), dass die Präsenz des Staates Israels in den besetzten palästinensischen Gebieten in Gänze illegal ist und schnellstmöglich beendet werden muss.
Alle Staaten - so der ICJ - sind verpflichtet die Besatzung aller palästinensciher Gebiete nach 1967 nicht als legal anzuerkennen. Alle Staaten sind verpflichtet keinerlei Handlungen zu unternehmen, die in irgendeiner weise helfen die Besatzung zu fördern oder aufrecht zu erhalten.
Das meint selbstverständlich Boykotte/Sanktionen/Embargos gegen Siedler, gegen Unternehmen, Organisationen, Militär, Instutionen mit Verbindungen zur Besatzung.

Das ist eine Sichtweise die die Lage vor Ort in den besetzten palästinensischen Gebieten bzw die Politik des Staates Israel vollkommen ignoriert.
Militärische Besatzungsregimes über Jahrzehnte hinweg. Vertreibung, Verletzen und Töten der Einwohner und Zerstörung von deren Siedlungen ist das Gegenteil von "friedlichem Zusammenleben"
In der Regel bezieht sich die BDS-Bewegung wie auch der internationale Gerichtshof auf die Grenzen von 1967.
Das ist ja schon der Kompromis zwischen einem Staat Palästina und einem Staat Israel der eine einigermaßen faire Lösung darstellen soll.
Und irgendwie muss man ja dahin kommen. Umfassende Boykotte, Embargos, Sanktionen sind ja gerade friedliche Mittel um einen Konflikt durch Druck zu einer Lösung zuzuführen.
Wenn der Berliner Verfassungsschutz die BDS-Bewegung wie auch die Verpflichtungen des Staates Deutschlands nach dem internationalen Recht als verfassungswidrig kriminalisieren will, dann stellt sich die Fragen welchen Weg Palästinenser und sie unterstützende Staaten sonst wählen sollen?
Friedliche Proteste wurden oft mit Kugeln niedergeschlagen. Der juristische Weg wird gegangen - und das Ergebnis des juristischen Wegs will der Verfassungsschutz kriminalisieren.
Das Internationale Recht und damit auch das Grundgesetz verbietet Eroberung von Gebiet, Bevölkerungstransfer, ethnische Säuberungen, Genozide, mutwillige Zerstörung von Eigentum, Kriegsverbrechen usw usw.
Die Lage in den von Israel besetzten palästinensischen Gebieten - und insbesondere akut in Gaza ist ein permanenter Bruch mit allen Regeln des Völkerrechts, der zu Beenden ist.
Wer legale Mittel dazu kriminalisieren will, der verhält sich offensichtlich selber verfassungsfeindlich.
Nochmal der Verweis auf das Rechtsgutachten des ICJ:
Die israelische Besatzung bzw Präsenz und Kontrolle palästinensischer Gebiete ist in Gänze illegal. Sie ist zu beenden (konkretisiert durch die UNGA) bis September 2025, egal was Netanyahu oder Trump will.
Siedler sind zu evakuieren. Reparationen zu leisten. Handel mit Siedlungen, finanzielle Unterstützung, Kooperationen - alle Mittel die ermöglichen die Besatzung fortzuetzen sind illegal. Ja auch für Deutsche.
"Existenzrecht Israel als Teil deutscher Staatsräson" findet sich in der deutschen Verfassung nicht wieder. Es hat einen vergleichbaren juristischen Gehalt wie eine Rede von Donald Trump.
Die Einstufung des Verfassungsschutzes mit Staatsräson als Grundlage sind im Gegensatz zum internationalen Recht (vgl. Art 25GG) rein politisch motivierte Handlungen.
Gerade in Zusammenhang mit dem Nahost-Konflikt gibt es aber durchaus ein Betätigungsgebiet für einen Verfassungsschutz, der sich auf dem Boden des Grundgesetzes bewegt.
Genauso wie man >>"Rechtfertigung und Verherrlichung" der Taten der Hamas vom 7.10.23<< als verfassunsgwidrig einstufen könnte - müsste man auch "Rechtfertigung und Verherrlichung" sowie Unterstützung von Kriegsverbrechen, genozidale Handlungen, illegaler Besatzung durch Israel als verfassungsfeindlich einstufen.

La Via Campesina exprime sa solidarité avec l’Unión Indígena Campesina (UIC) et l’Unión Campesina Panameña (UCP), qui se mobilisent actuellement aux côtés d’autres secteurs populaires du Panama pour défendre la souveraineté nationale. Le mot beauf qui à l'origine désignait le beau frère est entré dans le langage courant pour désigner la caricature d’un français moyen, réactionnaire, un peu bête, borné, macho, vulgaire… On pense alors au fameux tonton raciste ou à Kevin qui a un mulet, de grosses lunettes de soleil et fait du tuning…. Mais cela va encore plus loin, puisque petit à petit, le beauf devient l’autre, celui auquel on ne veut pas ressembler, celui qui n’a pas les bons goûts, la bonne culture, les bonnes opinions. Les beaufs n’existent que dans le regard de la société. Dans son livre Ascendant Beauf, Rose Lamy démontre que la figure du beauf est surtout un outil de domination et de fabrique du mépris social. En se moquant des beaufs, on se moque aussi des classes populaires, on se désensibilise de leur sort. En revenant sur son histoire personnelle, l’autrice raconte tout ce qui se cache derrière l’image du beauf : une existence déterminée par la classe sociale, les morts prématurées, les emplois aliénants, les déserts médicaux. L’humiliation permanente… Pourtant, le dessinateur Cabu, qui a en partie créé ce personnage le disait “on est tous le beauf de quelqu’un”. Pour le sociologue Gérard Mauger cité dans le livre “la figure du beauf produit simultanément une représentation stigmatisée des classes populaires et une représentation enchantée de soi-même comme l’envers du groupe stigmatisé”. Le beauf en dit donc beaucoup sur la personne qui juge, la condescendance lui donne une forme de supériorité morale et intellectuelle mais tout ceci a des conséquences bien réelles. “Nous sommes toutes et tous à la fois bourreaux et victimes de l’oppression de classe” écrit Rose Lamy. Alors pourquoi est-ce problématique d’utiliser le mot beauf ? En quoi cette figure est-elle devenue un bouc émissaire ? Comment questionner ce mépris social ? withstanding I'm bringing my undeveloped brainstorming to your decades of wisdom, but what if there was a sort of GM kitten, and a party of kittens were battling their way through some portentious communal hack scenario governed by the GM kitten.
And kittens were something like those early 90s experimental games where the character just executes a macro written by its player outside of and prior to the live events happening independently.

Aral's picture drawing demo works by several kitten instances writing to a shared DB, right? Or is it just one instance with different users?
But it should be able to handle live messaging and player interaction at least as fast as that Goblins demo in the jam did, and stay up longer.
I think first is one instance with multiple users, enter commands and they get processed. Then federate it.

Draw Together is one instance, no database (writing to memory, could easily write to database).
