#Palestine / Israeli Prison Authority accused of humiliating a Jewish anti-war activist, threatening to tattoo a Star of David on his face

Itamar Greenberg, an anti-war activist, was arrested during a protest. He alleges that Israeli Prison Authority (Shabas) officials forced him to wear a shirt with the slogan β€œThe Jewish people live” (גם Χ™Χ©Χ¨ΧΧœ Χ—Χ™) and threatened to tattoo a Star of David on his face. This incident is not isolated, as similar incidents have been recorded recently involving Palestinian hostages brought into Israel from #Gaza. Upon their release, these hostages were also forced to wear shirts with demeaning slogans. Shabas’ spokesperson claimed that the shirt was changed for Greenberg’s safety.

[…] Greenberg recounts: "When we went down in the elevator, which is small, they also threatened me. One of them said: 'I'll make you far-right, a kippah with a Star of David, come put on tefillin, are you a Jew with a circumcised penis?' It was really unpleasant.

[…] Greenberg waited about two hours in the cell. Before he was released, a senior Shabas officer arrived "with three falafels (police rank) and the writing 'מ׀ק"Χ₯' [officer in charge]. She photographed me with her phone. I thought she was doing it to check the issue, because they told her what happened in the hearing.

[…] "Later, when I came to be released, another Shabas man with two falafels (prison guard rank) said to me: 'What is this shirt, you're not leaving with it.' I said to him: 'Of course I'm leaving with it. You shamed me, you tried to insult me, and I demand documentation of this.' He said to me: 'I hope you get kidnapped,' and the officer said: 'Amen, thanks to all the prayers and all the righteous people, have fun in the tunnels, go to Gaza.' They said: 'I hope an Iranian missile falls on your head.' Another one said to me: 'Next time you're arrested, we'll tattoo a Star of David on your face,' assuming like they did to a Palestinian detainee. Within all this conversation, I understood that if I refused, they would hit me, so I took off the shirt."

Eventuelle zu versteuernde Einnahmen werden offenbar automatisch aus den bekannten Daten ermittelt, wozu offenbar auch die UmsatzsteuererklΓ€rung gehΓΆren kann (bin mir da aber nicht ganz sicher), und unter BerΓΌcksichtigung pauschaler AbzΓΌge ermittelt. Ziel ist eine maximale Verwaltungsvereinfachung und eine vollstΓ€ndige AnonymitΓ€t der privaten Ausgaben der BΓΌrger.

Was damit ab dem Steuerjahr 2025 auch entfallen wird, ist die in Argentinien eigentlich zwingende Voraussetzung, einen Steuerberater zu beschÀftigen. Jeder kann offenbar bei EinverstÀndnis durch schlichte Zahlung seinen Besteuerungsvorgang abschließen.


Unter Milei ist der BΓΌrger halt wieder SouverΓ€n. Oder wie sein Wirtschaftsminister es kΓΌrzlich formuliert hat: Wenn der Staat will, dass die BΓΌrger ihm vertrauen, muss er zuerst ihnen vertrauen. Die meisten BΓΌrger sind ehrlich.

In Saudi Arabia 'disobedient' women are incarcerated for rehabilitation.... This is inhumane & a violation of human rights.

But, of course, 150 years ago we were doing something similar with early mental hospitals & other institutions aimed at 'caring' for 'hysterical' women.
