Niccolò Machiavelli, Livy Üzerine Söylevler adlı eserinde Britanya’daki Kelt halkının nasıl kendi kıyametini hazırladığını anlatır.
5. yüzyılda Roma çekildiğinde Britanya savunmasız kalmıştı. Keltler, kuzeyden gelen saldırılara karşı koyamayınca, kuzeyden gelen düşmanları püskürtmeleri için savaşçı iki Cermen aşiretini ülkelerine davet ettiler: Anglo ve Saksonlar.
Bu savaşçılar bir süre sonra Britanya'nın efendilerine dönüştüler ve onları davet eden Kelt halkı ise bu yabancıların köleleri oldular.

Bu sahte kurtarıcılar çoğu zaman o halkın özlemlerini dile getiriyor gibi görünüyor; onların geçmişte yaşadıkları acıları, baskıları, kimlik tahribatlarını dile getirerek o halkın duygularına hitap ediyorlar. Ama zamanda bu sahte kurtarıcının, halkı özgürlüğe götürmek yerine köleci sisteme mahkum ettiğine şahit olunur. Ve halk, bir noktadan sonra artık kendisi için değil, sahte kurtarıcı için yaşamaya başlar: "Bê serok jîyan nabe!"
Sahte kurtarıcının son durağı, onun tanrılaştırılmasıdır...
Sahte kurtarıcının, o halkın düşmanları tarafından, tanrısal özelliklerle teçhiz edilmesi, düşmanın en çok istediği şeydir. Çünkü tanrılaştırılmış sahte kurtarıcı sorgulanamaz, eleştirilemez, ona alternatif üretilemez...
Böylece halk kolektif iradesini kaybeder, her şey sahte kurtarıcının iradesine bağlıdır artık...
Artık halk düşünmez, analiz etmez, sadece sahte kurtarıcının onlar için ne vaazda bulunacağını bekler; tek varlığının o olduğunu düşünür.
Bu, kendiliğinden bir gelişmenin neticesi gibi görünse de; aslında bu, dıştan kurgulanmış bir tuzaktan ibarettir.
Kimi zaman halklar, kurtuluş yolunu ararken düşmanın kendilerine sunduğu sahte kurtarıcının peşinden giderler. Yukarıda da temas ettiğimiz gibi bu sahte kurtarıcılar başta halkın özlemlerine tercüman olurlar. Ama aslında onlar bir misyonla sahneye çıkarılmışlardır. @VeroniqueB99@mastodon.social For everyone else that may be a US Citizen and gets "flagged" coming back into the Country: 1. Customs CAN search your phone, your laptop, and your bags. Thank SCOTUS for that. They CAN use your FaceID or FingerprintID to unlock your phone. Any biometric. They can NOT ask for your PIN, "swipe", or anything non-biometric to unlock your phone. Make sure your phone is TURNED OFF before you enter the Customs area! This includes air travel, cruise travel, bus travel, and train travel (if you cross borders). While not impossible it is MUCH harder for Customs or the FBI to access your data if your phone is turned off. If on Windows, make sure you have Bitlocker Encryption turned on and that are NOT syncing your Bitlocker recovery codes to your Microsoft Account. They can easily be subpoena'd with a no-Judge Administrative Subpoena. If on Linux make sure you use a strong Luks passphrase that is different than any of your account passwords. If on Mac same thing for you. Enable whatever it is Apple calls your FDE. For ALL OSes, enable a power-on/ BIOS/ UEFI boot passphrase. This is a separate passphrase that must be entered before your device will even begin to boot, let alone even access your encrypted partitions. Be sure to tell them you do not consent to any searches too. 2. Border Patrol can NOT deny you entry if you are a citizen by birth or naturalized. Flat out CAN'T. For any reason. "Am I under arrest? Am I being detained? Am I free to go?" keep asking them this with every few minutes and with every new person you see. 3. You do not have to answer any questions. You technically don't even need to answer Custom's questions. If they tell you you do they are lying. Full stop. 4. The correct answer to any FBI agent's questions that shows up is: "Am I under arrest? Am I being detained? Am I free to go." That's it. Memorize this. Practice this. Repeat it. Confidently. Doesn't matter how long they are holding you. "Am I under arrest? Am I being detained? Am I free to go?" Because the Courts have ruled that excessive detention is just the same as an arrest and are civil rights violations and by forcing them to deny you are forcing them to also follow the book on their end. Better still, when crossing the border use a pre-paid cell phone and a Chromebook. Do not bring any device that has sensitive or personal information near any US border. Full stop.

I tried to set up with the reamper box but cant find the right cables. I was going to use the media player into it but its XLR in only on this reamper. So I had to figure out another solution.

Then I remembered my Ditto looper lets me drop sounds into it. I'm pretty experienced with mic placement now after 30 years of doing this LOL, so dropped the 2 samples click into it via USB. And this actually worked out better than reamping/excess cabling....

I tend to focus the mic close on the edge of the dust cap, but have also done a couple at 45 degrees towards the same position.

I realised my radiator in my room is creating a kind of slap-back reverberation too. My solution is to place a fleece over it and this seems to have made the file size smaller by 3-400 samples.

Typically I'm getting 700ish samples length of sound from the 2 samples source.
