just thinkg of it like stack overflow on steroids. if it helps you, use it. if not, don't. but don't sit there and judge people for doing stuff that makes them more efficient at their work

for most cases, the purpose of writing code isn't for the code itself to be beautiful or elegant, it's a means to an end (the end product) and the end user isn't going to sit there and marvel at how beautiful your code is. what they care about is stuff like how fast it runs, how secure it is, how much they enjoy the game, how stable the program is, etc.
