in reply to Martijn van Exel • • •I mentioned this before; this is the first time in my 40 years interacting with computers and software that I am actually pessimistic about where computing is headed.
I am losing interest in forums like Hacker News where every other popular post seems to be about some new AI / LLM related tool, advancement or startup.
I feel lucky to be in the later stage of my career, and it's great to be involved with an enduring human effort like #OpenStreetMap.
