U.S. Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, reportedly pressured senior ultra-Orthodox politicians to maintain the current right-wing government.
Huckabee emphasized the importance of government stability for addressing the Iranian issue and stated that Washington would struggle to support #Israel (manifestly imppossoble to deny it is indeed a client state of the U.S.,) during an election period.
Huckabee also declared that establishing an independent Palestinian state is not part of U.S. policy in the Middle East.
Huckabee is a Christian Zionist. He advocates for full Israeli sovereignty over territories such as Gaza and the West Bank, reflecting his theological view that supports Israel’s biblical claims.
