Die Aussage von Merz ist verräterisch. Er versucht hier nicht mal mehr zu behaupten, dass es beim Angriff Israels um einen präemptiven Angriff gehandelt habe. Nur der wäre völkerrechtlich zulässig. Merz Äußerung macht klar: Es geht um einen Angriff zum Regime Change, um einen der zumindest so weit abgestimmt sein muss mit den Verbündeten Israels, dass sie vom erfolgreichen Einsetzen eines Vasallenstaates, der nach der Pfeife des Westens tanzt ausgehen, innerhalb von Monaten und Jahren.
Natürlich ist das völkerrechtswidrig, einfach unliebsame Länder zu überfallen und die Führung in eine genehme Führung auszutauschen. Das Regime des Irans hat Tod und Zerstörung gebracht. Das ist direkt und indirekt ja nicht pauschal falsch. Allerdings müsste sich der Iran schon ziemlich anstrengen um nur Bruchteil an Tod und Zerstörung zu erreichen, der deutsche Verbündete Israel gerade begeht. Es geht um das Bündnis mit Israel dass mehrere Länder angriff und einen Genozid begeht.
Wir wissen alle dass das furchtbar scheitern wird. Wie in Afghanistan, wie im Irak und jedes mal wenns darum geht irgendein Regime loszuwerden. Rechtsradikale Regierungen mit militärischer Macht sind Warnungen und Erfahrungen natürlich egal. Wir sind damit auch wesentlich näher an einer globalen Eskalation, und das nicht als Unfall - sondern als selbst gewählten Kurs. All das was man tun konnte um den Nahen Osten zu befrieden wollte man hingegen nicht.

Be careful though, make sure the hardware spec matches the price. Lots of uninformed (delusional?) Mac zealots out there think their 5-10 year old Mac is worth way more than the hardware spec would imply. Paying a 5-10% premium for the better build quality on an iMac or lappie in the used market is worth it in my opinion. For the Mini, not so much.

Stumbling through getting a proper backup regime in place. I have an unraid system running a proper array, and am trying to setup backups for two separate machines (one windows one debian). I've successfully setup a file share, and have duplicati running. Are there disadvantages to just setting the network folder as the destination for the backup? It seems a little hamfisted (and the data rates are terrible).
It seems like there's probably a better way to do this...
