Yet again I've discovered yet another piece of #software I don't use every day but use often enough has been #uninstalled from my #LinuxMint system.
This time it's #Calibre.
Say what you will about #Microsoft #Windows but not once did Microsoft go and uninstall Calibre from my #Windows11 system without my fucking knowledge!
This shit really pisses me the hell off. #Linux #Mint #Debian12 #Ubuntu2404 #software #packages #sysadmin #desktop #environment

It's still better than Windows by a country mile but it's shit like this that really piss me the hell off.

The author recommends downloading from his site:

All I know is it was installed a month ago (I used it) and it wasn't installed yesterday.
Fortunately when I re-installed it my Calibre database and settings were not removed and everything came back up.
