Me voilà mis en examen.

Bon, il faut dire que je l’ai cherché, à force de dire que la France faisait fausse route en Ukraine, de m’élever depuis le premier jour contre le carnage de Gaza devenu génocide, de taper quotidiennement sur Macron, ça allait finir par énerver les belles âmes.

Chez moi, il arrive qu’on finisse par s’agacer et qu’on me demande jusqu’à quand je vais continuer à brailler. Pour les gilets jaunes, contre Macron et son illibéralisme liberticide, contre la propagande russophobe délirante du système médiatique, en soutien au peuple palestinien confronté à l’horreur.

Je m’en tire par cette pirouette : « j’arrêterai quand je serai mort. Et encore c’est pas sûr ! »

Je viens tout juste de recevoir l’avis de mise en examen. Je vais étudier le fond de cette affaire et bien évidemment je vous informerai des détails et des enjeux.

However, it is noticable that the establishment right in the US, who are primarily Zionists, protect terrorists who serve their purposes and condemn everyone else that oppose them, as being terrorists. It's very revealing.

Not paying attention, I was paying these bills. I recently called them out on it. $700 refund in the mail.

AND THEY'RE STILL DOING IT. This is a hospital and an ENT, completely separate from one another. I just got two more of these duplicate bills I already paid at the beginning of the month.

When I was buying groceries the other day, I noticed that the cashier reminded me of an online friend I have known for years. And I got to thinking, what if my friend worked as a cashier at a grocery store? Customers would then see her, watch her scan items and pack them dutifully, hear her small pleasantries as they paid, and then leave and think no more about her. Nothing in that transaction would give them the slightest clue about her boundless creativity, her rich mind, her deep heart, all of which I have grown to admire and love. They would have no idea what an amazing person she is.

And then I wondered if perhaps my cashier today was in fact an amazing person and I simply had no idea. And now I am contemplating the notion that every person we see, that we pass by without a thought, might similarly amaze us with their depth and their wonder, if we only had the time and opportunity to learn them. I am left with a sense of being surrounded by invisible riches.

Sometimes it’s in the ingenuity of a jay, or in the apparent playfulness of a hummingbird. It’s easy to forget that to survive, a hummingbird needs to find food every ten to fifteen minutes. A reminder that while we’re trying our best just to survive, there’s still time to pay attention to other things, even a brief moment of relief.

Function Health update:

I think I have all of the bookmarkers in from both sets of tests.

Turns out I have some work to do, and my general feeling that my bad diet, lack of sleep, stressed out life style and self-tyrannical attitude of just working harder at things is killing me.

And now I can see the evidence in my blood work.

I have a lot of work to do.

The app and process however have been great. And while it’s hard to be confronted with this info, it’s probably news I needed.

I could use some troubleshooting help for a Linux laptop

I was helping my friend install Mint on his laptop, it all went well and the installation finished, but the driver for the wi-fi module wouldn't turn on properly, or something. I assumed this was due to secure boot messing with the drivers, so I tried to disable it in the BIOS (it's an older laptop, no UEFI). But I have spent the last 3 hours trying and failing to open BIOS, and even GRUB. Nothing I try seems to work.

I tried all the function keys, as well as delete, escape, and enter, and the only thing I found is that F12 opens a boot options menu.

I tried holding and mashing shift throughout the boot procedure to get to GRUB.

I tried using the novo button (it's a Lenovo laptop) which did open a new menu allowing me to select a "BIOS options" button, but it just rebooted after showing me a few rolling lines of text.

I tried plugging in the installation media I used before, which does take me to it's GRUB, but choosing the UEFI options option there just causes a reboot.

I tried disconnecting the battery and the CMOS battery and waiting for 30 seconds in hopes of disabling fast boot, which didn't work.

I edited GRUB config files to change the timeout to 10 and the type away from hidden, which didn't do anything.

I disconnected the disk in hopes of it defaulting to the BIOS, which works for some laptops.

No option worked. I just cannot access BIOS or GRUB. I really don't know where to go next, and could use some help.

If you haven't solved this yet I would try using the novo button again with your camera ready to get the text and see if it's useful. Beyond that, I'm not sure how to get into the bios. Assuming it still boots and doesn't have a soldered wifi card you could always get an AX210 for fairly cheap off of ebay. Should have good linux support.

Edit: Nvm the card suggestion, I see your comment on that.
