Had a seemingly random violent act done by a white guy less than a mile from our home. Pretty serious, as he rushed into a home, grabbed a knife from the dinner table and attempted to attack the home owner.
Our friends, who owned their house near where this guy lived sold and bought a different property about ten miles away, mainly to get farther away from him (other reasons, too, but that likely was the thing that motivated them to take action).

Today was an awesome day at work. I managed to get a bit of time to completely year down this Lenovo X220 tablet, apply new thermal paste to the CPU, upgrade the RAM to 16GB DDR3, and replace the Seagate 500GB spinning rust drive with a 250GB WD Blue SSD. It's rocking Linux Mint 22.1 XFCE. Just finishing up by adding Krita, and some other software that might be useful on this neat machine. Have to pick up an eprom programmer some time so we can start flashing coreboot to some devices.
We upgraded the memory from 8GB to 16GB. One of the memory slots was not working, but got it working again after cleaning with a brush and rubbing alcohol. Some of the memory contacts in the slot must have had something stuck between them. Works great after cleaning.
We took out the bluetooth module, as my son does not plan on using that, so one less wireless device to worry about for power and security.
Redid thermal paste. Thorough cleaning.

The project is a real-time audio localizer built on a Raspberry Pi Pico. The Pico is hooked up to three MEMS microphones which are continuously sampled at a rate of 50 kHz thanks to the Picoโs nifty DMA features. Data from each microphone is streamed into a rolling buffer, with peaks triggering the software on the Pico to run correlations between channels to determine the time differences between the signal hitting each microphone. Based on this, itโs possible to estimate the location of the sound source relative to the three microphones.
The team goes into great deal on the projectโs development, and does a grand job of explaining the mathematics and digital signal processing involved in this feat. Particularly nice is the heatmap output from the device which gives a clear visual indication of how the sound is being localized with the three microphones.

I've experienced random stuff like that in past - not exactly the same though and not that chip.
I'd suspect power issue, either cpu and/or gpu causing a spike that results in some voltage rail to go unstable. More likely GPU, unless your applications are really thrashing all cpu cores.
How old PSU? how much headroom? how good brand of PSU? Might also be a motherboard power management issue.
Also - it might not hurt just to unplug and reseat every power cable.

What I find unbearable about people who are way too politicized on the internet โ whether theyโre maga, woke, or any other cult followers of flimsy ideas โ is that they have only one obsession: their little guru and their sacred truth. Theyโre like robots programmed to recite catechism 24/7, never stopping to wonder if what theyโre spouting isnโt just a mush of recycled slogans. Honestly, they look like AIs, but with less common sense and more blindness.

Still massively dysfunctional, unintelligent and unhealthy.
The main reason I am not a white supremacist is that the stupidest people I know who make the worst decisions are white.
I am sure people of other races also make equally dumb decisions (or worse, if you think whites are inherently better)... but "my race makes slightly less terrible decisions that your race" isn't a great foundation.

Move to a nog neighborhood at 97 percent nog and your opinion about the "stupid Whites" you live around now will change. You will also see many of the Whites you claim are stupid acting like niggers.
I have lived in neighborhoods mostly White and neighborhoods with a strong nog mix. There is a huge difference and it is consistent. Whites are not perfect by any means but they are better as a group.

Maybe leftoids should try having compassion for the socioeconomically disadvantaged victims of globalism. Most people of all races are getting one-shotted by algorithmically optimized online vice delivery systems of one sort or another. Those systems must be dismantled, and those responsible for them must be held accountable.

Had a seemingly random violent act done by a white guy less than a mile from our home. Pretty serious, as he rushed into a home, grabbed a knife from the dinner table and attempted to attack the home owner.
He was out of jail within a month.

Our friends, who owned their house near where this guy lived sold and bought a different property about ten miles away, mainly to get farther away from him (other reasons, too, but that likely was the thing that motivated them to take action).

Unknown parent • • •I'm not a champion for "diversity", but I think there are more causes for our problems than the negative consequences of diversity. I also agree that we are not all the same.
Some responsibility is ours.
Some is on other forces that seek to subjugate people, not just white people.
The premise is that just having a nearly homogenious white society will not fix all the problems. Bad ideas that white people have, or are tricked into having, have bad consequences.
It is one of the reasons that I believe economic action does make things better.
