New on our website:

Meet Patriot Front Participant and Neo-Nazi David Isaac Hamilton (AKA “Hunt’wa N’wah”)

Last year, our group received anonymous email tips about a neo-Nazi who we had only known by his online alias, “Hunt’wa N’wah.” (Initially, he used “Huntwa N’wah” without the first apostrophe.) One email we received provided an actual name for “Hunt’wa,” which we worked to verify. “Hunt’wa” is David Isaac Hamilton (DOB 8/24/2005). Hamilton is affiliated with the neo-Nazi cult of “Aryanity” as well as Patriot Front, a racist and fascist organization that operates nationally. Hamilton now goes by “Hunter” online. Although he is from Georgia, he may how be spending time in Tennessee.

Why US centrists are bad.

There are policies that the left and the right both agree on. But those aren't the centrist policies.

There are policies that the left loves and the right hates, because the left needs them to survive, and policies that the right loves and the left hates, because cruelty.

Centrists are politicians that siphon away the political power of those that vote to survive, and use that power to enact the cruel policies desired by the right.

As in: Get elected by Black people... then make police brutality and mass incarceration *worse*.🤡

Or block ending the filibuster.🤡

Maybe a politician really does think that the problem with the US is that we are *not cruel enough* to Black people. That there should be *more* Black people in jail, and *more* cops, and *fewer* libraries, and *worse* schools.🤷🏿‍♂️

So let them get elected by the people on the right that believe that.

It's worth noting that both the Obama and Biden administration also pushed against nationwide injunctions, such as the ones issued by a judge in Texas that the GOP always ran to for attempts to block Obamacare, for gun issues, etc. Yes, the Supreme Court waited until now to push back on nationwide injunctions, but in the future the GOP is likely to have buyer's remorse on this when the tables are turned.

I agree that one has to always make the assumption, that in time (where time may be measured in decades or centuries) things will change. We did an interesting exercise in high school history where the teacher asked us to imagine a United States where the Confederacy had won. Like the current administration it did things to prevent reversion to constitutional principles. I'd love to get back to the rule of law in my lifetime but will settle for in my kid's lifetime.

Supreme Court guts judges power to stop #Trump nationwide

This comes as Trump pushes to end birthright #citizenship, and now, lower courts may no longer be able to block such moves across the #country. It’s a massive shift in power toward the #presidency...

The first problem, which might seem small, is in how the company handles very basic stuff, like security certificates.

Manjaro has let their certificates expire 4 times now. It might seem like a very small issue, but it's extremely basic. Renewing certificates is extremely easy, and can be automated. Manjaro's inability to anticipate this or automate it isn't a good sign in terms of how seriously they take their security.

Manjaro also has the habit of trying to release things that aren't ready, without checking with the upstream devs first. One example is with the Asahi Linux project, where Manjaro decided that having Apple Silicon support early would be cool, and shipped a broken kernel.

fosstodon.org/web/@calebccff/1…

reddit.com/r/linux/comments/xt…

This is what led to the "don't ship it" manifesto from various developers, and probably what led the Bottles developer to also ask distros to not repackage their software without talking to them first.

dont-ship.it/

usebottles.com/blog/an-open-le…

Another problem that arose was the use of the AUR in Manjaro. Except the AUR doesn't really work well on Manjaro. Because the AUR assumes you're using the latest Arch software, with the latest versions Arch releases. Which Manjaro doesn't, because they hold back packages for testing. Which means that installing stuff from the AUR can seriously break your Manjaro system if you're not careful.

Manjaro's AUR helper had a bug in it, that sent thousands of requests to the AUR's servers for each Manjaro user. This resulted in an involuntary DDOS attack, short for distributed denial of service

reddit.com/r/linux/comments/q8…

gitlab.manjaro.org/application…

And then there are a few other issues. The project lead wanted to buy a new laptop using Manjaro funds, for about 2000€. The treasurer refused the expense, because it went against Manjaro's policy.

This led to an argument with the project lead, and surfaced other expenses that hadn't been discussed according to Manjaro's Policy, and led the treasurer to leave the company, leaving the project lead in full control of all the community funds.

web.archive.org/web/2020080704…

Then Manjaro announced that they would be shipping SoftMaker office by default instead of LibreOffice. Replacing an open source component with a proprietary one isn't really something you'd expect from a Linux distribution.

web.archive.org/web/2019121018…

Manjaro has also often been accused of not contributing to upstream, especially on the mobile front. Someone involved in the Pine64 community points out that the fact that most mobile Pine64 projects are starting to falter is due to the fact that only Manjaro is a supported distribution for the Pinephone, where before there were a myriad of community editions, and that Manjaro doesn't really contribute to supporting the hardware.

In March 2025, militants launched coordinated attacks on Alawite communities such as Tartous and Latakia. The bombings left dozens dead and sent a chill through Christian towns along the coast. Many saw it as a prelude – a test run by extremists probing the strength of Syria’s new government, led by Ahmed al-Sharaa. Yet after Sunday’s bombing, instead of condemning it as a targeted attack on Christians, the UN’s special envoy for Syria, Geir Pederson, characterised it as a result of general instability, and even called for ‘restraint’ from all parties.

To be clear, what we are witnessing is the systematic targeting of nearly all religious minorities in Syria – Christians, Druze, Ismailis, Yazidis, Alawites and Shiites – by violent Islamist factions. To call it ‘sectarian violence’ is to imply mutuality where there is none. Minority victims are not aggressors. They are certainly not the ones who need to show ‘restraint’.

There are hundreds of gospels, and they keep finding them. And the gospels are basically fan fiction about this #Jesus character. They didn't have TVs, but fandoms are literally older than time. They turn into religions. But according to many of the gospels, Jesus wasn't a nice guy and he'd throw fits if he didn't get his way.

I'm not a champion for "diversity", but I think there are more causes for our problems than the negative consequences of diversity. I also agree that we are not all the same.

Some responsibility is ours.

Some is on other forces that seek to subjugate people, not just white people.

The premise is that just having a nearly homogenious white society will not fix all the problems. Bad ideas that white people have, or are tricked into having, have bad consequences.

It is one of the reasons that I believe economic action does make things better.
