Oddly, NetBSD crashes, looks like kernel panic - see picture, with the Xeon e3-1225 v2 processor in the Optiplex 3010. It boots fine with the intel i5-3450 cpu.
Linux Mint Debian edition live USB and Windows 10 SATA drive both boot fine and seem to be completely okay with the Xeon processor in this machine, but NetBSD is not happy about it.
It is such an unlikely configuration, probably never intended by Dell, so probably not worth officially reporting.

People that rely on AI are rapidly losing critical thinking skills, and even those of us that don't rely on it are still seeing AI generated content damn near everywhere now.
I think it can be funny at times, when deliberately and obviously used to make funny memes and stuff, but really shouldn't be used for anything serious, and definitely shouldn't be used to make deepfakes.
Even when used in good intentions, AI can be erroneous or just outright wrong. All the while, as the machines 'learn', more and more people are blindly trusting it and forgetting how to think for themselves.

Die Nahrungsmittelverteilung hat Israel durch 4 Verteilzentren für ganz Gaza ersetzt, die jeweils nur eine Stunde am Tag geöffnet werden. Fast 600 Menschen sind bereits erschossen worden, nur weil sie für ihre Familien dort etwas zu essen holen wollten.

It is possible that the image I have submitted here is not the originally-submitted image. That image was on an image host that went down, and archive.org's Wayback Machine did not grab a copy, so I cannot know what the original image was. I used the dashboard image from the source page that Crul linked to, since I'm personally most-interested in the VFD-based dashboards from the era, and because he mentioned the dashboard in the title. I don't think it's lesser-known at all. It's very very well known, but still problematic.
It wasn't ALL Nazi's though. There were plenty of German scientists who were anti-Nazi, displaced by the war, and included in Operation Paperclip. The fact that some were Nazi's, and some were even SS (insane) is the real problem.
One of the world's least reported genocides took place in #Tigray between 2020 - 2022 with horrific sexual violence and rape weaponised to subdue women/ the population. Most of the victims are still waiting for accountability and justice.

game dev progress for the day! got more of the manor fleshed out. there will be rooms on the bottom side as well but i'm working on the top ones first.
it's kind of crazy how much longer working in 3D takes but i'm starting to get the hang of it, just some things i need to change from working in 2D i am getting a little tripped up on. i think a lot of it is the setup as well. once you get the models created and everything it is much smoother to build it all.
@xianc78 that would be quite the undertaking. you would have to recognize what tiles from the tileset are being used, extract only those tiles and convert them into voxels, then determine what height everything should be at, and then put the tiles down at the exact coordinates. even then, the difference in dimensions and perspectives will result in the end user having to manually move and change a lot of stuff. not really worth even coding something like that imo.
the vast majority of people are not going to be converting their RPG Maker projects wholesale into RPG In A Box, and the only reason i'm sort of doing it is because i'm just messing around with the engine and testing stuff out. when i actually start doing a proper game i won't have anything from rpg maker, ideally.
