I watched and protested and voted and marched and 50 years passed and a convicted felon got elected.

Suddenly, the EU is moving away from its long dependance on American military. I always wanted Wall Street to mean less in the world. Now, the US markets are becoming untenable for the world's money. I hate it because I have friends and family in fear, through no fault of their own, for no reason other than rank bigotry. I hate that people I thought were friends turned out to be perfectly fine with fascism.

Kent State/Cambodia was the turning point for me and I have studied/worked for a different international role for the CIA and the US in general the more I learned. But I naively assumed that new role would be a result of increasing compassion and knowledge rather than the opposite of that.
