Well, that's good. But people who feel shame by their work and success, and having the ability to create a good life are brainwashed. Every single country in the world had the opportunity to do what we did, but all we got were complaints, hate and jealousy. Leaders here and there wasted OUR money for illegal conquests to enrich themselves, and to keep the people destitute.
They broadly arent really very techy and absolutely hate the idea of anything new. So nah they broadly hate federation and adopting any new platforms.
Especially given that the fediverse already has a culture of being actively anti racism and hate they wouldnt be able to move here without getting instantly defederated and they know this. I'm sure the leftypol commies are already here.
I think also the fediverse tends to lend itself to brainrot formats of social media: mastodon (Twitter), lemmy (Reddit), pixelfed (Instagram/tiktok), matrix (Discord). The fediverse is just trying to mimic the worst examples of the internet while 4chan is perfectly fine being its 2004 self
