Most of the Narnia books by C S Lewis leave a lot to be desired.
Nothing special really, just simple fantasy for kids.
But the second to last is an absolute banger.
A prequel: The Magician's Nephew.

It's basically Sliders, or Star-gate, same premise.
A couple of kids, jumping between worlds with a pair of magic rings.
One brings you to the forest between worlds, the other allows you to enter other worlds by diving into any of the pools in the endless forest.

The kids happen upon a dying world, and meet the witch queen, who manages to hitch a ride out of her dying world.
Crazy shit happens, and eventually they manage to drag the witch back into the forest, and into another pool, another world, one that's just being created.
But not before she smashes some kid's ribs with a street lamp she pulls out of the fucking ground!

That's why Narnia has a street light, forever lit, in the middle of a forest, it's imbued by the power of creation.
That's why everyone in Narnia is an animal, except the witches who look human, they are outsiders.
That's why Aslan, despite being Narnia's creator, a literal god, seems to have trouble dealing with the witches.
He may be a god, but not their god, not their creator.
The witch is older than Narnia, she was there before it was created.

I love how media has been put back into the hands of people in terms of how much production value they can generate with so little invested in terms of resources and time. Anyone with a vision and a little talent can basically output very good informational content or disinformation type content.

"In 2023, the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) revealed a statewide Tennessee Active Club was holding networking events and fight clubs at a Nashville area general store owned by a self-declared “actual literal Nazi”.

Last month, the SPLC reported that the statewide Active Club was being secretly controlled by the Patriot Front, a racist and neo-fascist hate group.

In March, News Channel 5 reported Patriot Front had established a 122-acre compound in Tellico Plains.

And, last fall, the Daily Beast reported that one of the men Channel 5 identified as a leader of that compound, Ian Elliott, had infiltrated another child-friendly Tennessee grappling school in Athens (the school kicked him out).

Meanwhile May, who was part of the Active Club that infiltrated Shelbyville school, appears to be acquaintances with Elliott.

Sans redistribution, cette unité vole en éclat. La taxation sera toujours injuste, du point de vue de l'individu. Elle doit viser la justice, du point de vue collectif.
Les gouvernements occidentaux font l'inverse : ils appauvrissent l'État, ruinent le contrat social, organisent et aggravent les écarts de richesses, affaiblissent et appauvrissent les plus pauvres.
Tout cela va produire, mécaniquement, énormément d' #injustice, d'exclusion sociale, de #pauvreté, de désespoir, d'amertume et, in fine, de #violence.
Dans leur monde, selon leur éthique, c'est légitime ? il est donc légitime de s'enrichir par n'importe quel moyen, au détriment de la #collectivité, au détriment des autres. Non, ce n'est pas la Russie qui nous menace.

I liked your Knightress Oxide meme and looked at it as a performance enhancer (ie it gets men's motors running).

It's also used at dentist offices as a mild sedative and in drag racers, and other vehicles as a temporary performance booster.
The high one gets from inhaling NO from whip-its only lasts a few seconds. That's why you could see the NO cartridges falling out of people's vehicles when they would open the doors. Lol!
