Schon klar, daher zielt seine Politik auch auf „Frauen am Herd“ ab.

Wenn Merz von „Netzwerken“ spricht, meint er „Seilschaften“. Und „Unterstützung“ bedeutet für ihn, Steigbügel zu halten, Stiefel zu lecken und den anderen Krähen kein Auge auszuhacken.
Eine bessere Begabung zum Ausnutzen von Netzwerken nicht, eine bessere Befähigung schon. Das Netzwerk ist in leitenden Funktionen ist potentiell größer. Nennt sich Patriarchat.
Da kann man sich auch vorstellen, was die in ihrem Morgenkreis beim Netzwerken so besprechen. In den 1950/60er Jahren sozialisiert und nie wieder eine Anpassung am Weltbild vorgenommen. Am Stammtisch wären sie halt einfach lächerlich, man würde ein paar Bier zu viel vermuten, aber nicht in so einer Position. Dieser ist er einfach nicht würdig. Und vielleicht eine kleine Korrektur - er ist nicht "unser Kanzler", sondern sein eigener Ich-Kanzler

er meint mit Netzwerken halt Korruption, während der Rest der Welt das mit der Hilfestellung ein wenig größer denkt und nicht ausschließlich an den eigenen Vorteil denkt.

the gtk APIs to get down to the wayland surface are a bit awkward, but at least its accessible. I tried the same with Qt6 and couldn't find a way to have it return the underlying wl_surface pointer. 🤷
I got an LV2 plugin UI with this setup working, but no hosts to try it out against. Modifying jalv.gtk3 is likely the easiest path... 🤔
the jalv gtk3 code is quite complex, I think it might be easier for me to add a little support in carla instead.
