The proposed ceasefire would see a phased release of captives held by the resistance, beginning with 8 live captives on the first day and additional releases on days 50 and 60, alongside the return of 18 bodies. In exchange, the occupation would begin withdrawing its forces from northern and southern Gaza under UN and Red Crescent oversight. Technical teams would work on boundary demarcations, while humanitarian aid would begin flowing immediately.
Longer-term arrangements, set to begin on day one of the truce, include defining terms for further prisoner exchanges, negotiating a permanent ceasefire, determining Gazaโs future security framework, and establishing international guarantees. Mediators would ensure compliance and could extend the truce if substantial progress is made.
Palestinian Resistance factions congratulated the efforts of the Hamas negotiating delegation on their shaping of the agreement and the dignified ceasefire proposal. Across the political spectrum, factions issued statements in support of Hamasโ decision to stop the war, ahead of a likely pan-faction meeting that will take place this week.
Since the beginning of the war, the factions, with all their colors and ideologies, have entrusted Hamas with the mantle to negotiate on their behalf.
PIJ confirmed that Hamas consulted with them and provided detailed feedback on implementation for a responsible reply.
A PFLP leadership source told Al-Hadaf that the Front met with Hamas to seriously discuss the draft. They offered feedback and amendments, which were approved, to stop the war and allow aid without obstacles. The PFLPโs changes concerned the wording of clauses to avoid exploitation by the occupation and a return of the aggression.
The Popular Resistance Committees issued a statement blessing the โserious, responsible, and national positionโ carried by the Palestinian negotiating delegation, highlighting their great flexibility in reaching an agreement. They confirmed that Hamas met with the PRC leadership, too, and called on the mediators to compel the zionist entity to accept the agreement to end the โgreatest holocaust ever inflicted on our Palestinian people.โ
The DFLP welcomed Hamasโ position, stating that their position is โbased on deep awareness of our peopleโs right to stop the killing, starvation, thirst, and death machine.โ They affirmed that they held consultations with Hamas and PIJ in Egypt, and the unified national vision for the day after the war. They, too, warned against zionist attempts to violate the agreement.
Similarly, the PFLP โ GC stated that they support the โwise steps concerning the exchange deal and cessation of zionist aggression that Hamas has matured after consulting with the factions.โ They affirmed that the factions emerged with an outline after several rounds of discussions, which preserves dignity, honors sacrifices, guarantees an end to the US-โisraeliโ war, and secures withdrawal. They cautioned against zionist and American tricks to return to aggression.
The Ahrar Movement also issued congratulations to the Palestinian negotiators, which they stated reflected high national responsibility, sovereign will, and sharp political acumen.
The Mujahideen Movement commended the negotiatorโs position, stating that it represents both seriousness and flexibility. They demanded that the mediators assume their responsibility in guaranteeing the ceasefire.
The Fatah Al-Intifada movement congratulated Hamas on its โgreat national achievementโ against the โzionist occupier and its partner, American imperialism and NATO allies.โ They expressed their confidence in Hamasโ continued leadership of the Palestinian resistance on the path to liberation from the river to the sea.

Hi there, I've got these really odd issue where certain windows will cause random lines like the one in the screenshot appear on my screen. They will often flicker a bit and will dissapear if I hover my mouse over them. The lines will display what is beneath the window itself. These occour quite frequently and are frankly getting quite annoying to deal with.
Is this a known issue with KDE right now? It does not happen while using Gnome on the same machine + screen. If it matters I am running CachyOS+KDE 6.4.1+AMD.
If there is anythign I can do to fix this then I'd greatly appriciate some pointers!

The world is waking up to the fact that fighting pharma using the existing set up is impossible. So why cling to it?

All healthcare staff, he continues, are deeply programmed to believe in vaccines. They are brainwashed into believing that vaccines save lives and that vaccine hesitancy (or refusing to believe in that madness) must be prevented at any cost. Pharma has not come to an end. It has however planned the end game. An entity called The Liver Doc (whatever that means) has slammed a chess grandmaster for "daring to call his family of qualified holistic healers as doctors". Such arrogance! The pretence has fallen. Pharma has displayed its brutal power. Now it intends to use it.

Its influence was real only when it served as the organization's main ATM, funding its activities and civilian institutions, paying salaries to officers and fighters, and helping to rebuild Gaza after every Israeli military operation. I bought a Lenovo laptop, one from the the bargain bin, 11th gen Intel and 8gb soldered RAM
Even if I reinstalled Windows to make sure all the bloatware was removed, it was almost unusable. At boot I was left with only 800mb free memory, and "Lenovo vantage" kept reappearing automatically like malware. (It's a useless electron app that wastes half a gig of ram to show you on screen when you press caps lock, check driver updates and try to upsell you on extended warranty)
At idle the machine was as loud as a jet, with crystal disk mark always complaining "the nvme drive is over 65ยฐC!!" (I'm guessing from the constant swapping)
Battery life was a disaster, 2 hours at idle with no foreground apps open
I thought that it was the CPU too slow for my use and the RAM not enough, so I was planning to spend some hundreds of euro to buy a new laptop with at least 16gb of RAM.
Then I installed cachyos and because I'm masochist I chose hyprland at the "easy" install screen that asks you which of the 19 available DE you prefer.
After a week of suffering trying to understand all the text configuration files for everything (it was a shock, everything needs the terminal) I'm now getting used to it and... It's like I got a brand new laptop??!?
Memory: clean boot now obviously is reversed situation. I don't have only 800mb of free RAM, the whole system uses only 800mb
Temperatures: by default cachyos is set to show the CPU temperature on waybar, and it's always around 40-45ยฐ C. The fan is way quieter. At idle they can even stop, before they were like a hair dryer even after a clean boot
Battery life: astounding. I can't believe that I can use it for a whole afternoon. Accidentally fell asleep and when I came back after two hours it lost only 10% (on idle, screen turn off automatically)
Gaming performance: tried only with casual games but with something like tinytopia I get 60fps on ultra when on windows it was choppy on high

The al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced Saturday the execution of a top-tier operation against Zionist occupation forces in Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
According to details released by the Brigades, the operation took place on Friday morning near the Directorate of Education in the al-Mahatta area, in central Khan Younis. Resistance fighters stormed a gathering of Zionist soldiers and their military vehicles, the statement added.
As part of the operation, al-Qassam fighters targeted two Merkava tanks using two Shawaz explosive devices, resulting in its crew members being either killed or injured.
In addition to the tanks, the Resistance fighters also struck an armored personnel carrier with a Yassin 105 shell.
When Zionist rescue forces arrived at the scene, they were attacked with light and medium machine gun fire, the Brigades pointed out.
During the operation, al-Qassam fighters observed the landing of helicopters conducting an evacuation that lasted several hours.
The Brigades also reported a second operation on Friday, in which its fighters targeted another Zionist armored personnel carrier using a Yassin 105 shell on al-Biโah Street in central Khan Younis.
Meanwhile, the al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) Movement, released footage on Friday documenting a complex and top-tier operation its Resistance fighters conducted on Wednesday in the eastern al-Shujaโiyya neighborhood of Gaza City.
The al-Quds Brigades operation targeted Zionist military vehicles and soldiers, as well as homes where occupation forces had taken cover, engaging in direct confrontations at close range.
The commander of the operation reported that the Zionist soldiers showed no initiative or response, resorting only to screaming and fleeing without returning significant fire toward the Resistance fighters.
He added that the fighters encountered charred bodies of officers and soldiers, confirming that 40 Zionist soldiers were either killed or wounded, and stated that the occupation continues to lie and conceal its losses as it always does.
