Holy crap I cleared up over 500GB of remotely cached media across all my #instances in doing so.

I guess at one point I inadvertently enabled remote media caching and forgot to turn it off or something happened and it still continued to cache for a while?

When you haven't been exposed to advertising for a while and it's no longer normalised, it's quite jarring. Not because it's annoying or shit, rarely lacking any artistic merit, begging and pleading and lying for attention and complicity - that bit you remember.

But because the only way this crap exists at all is through force, ramming it through devices without permission or consent. An entire industry based on tracking and surveillance to target assault.

It's fucking despicable.

For those of you using librewolf you may have noticed that color coded tab grouping has been in effect. You just right click a tab and add it to a group, or create a new one with spcific name and color code. Fine, that doesn't appear unreasonable and remains optional for the use to configure.
Now mozilla is coming out with automatic grouping of tabs, based on what criteria, Ai?

Firefox automatically groups your tabs and suggests names based on what you’re working on. It helps you stay focused, find things faster, and reduce clutter.


I sure hope the librewolf gang will have this disabled at build time

I mean in the server space Linux has already won and is doing just fine. Imo it is actually the reverse and sad that it needs this level of turmoil to get Europe to even think about software and digital infrastructure as fundamental. And even with all that's going on they are just dipping their toes into it rather than properly comitting to a radical shift. Hell, even with all that's going on some parts of the police here in Germany are still getting into bed with companies like Palantir.

I fervently hope for and work toward the restoration of pluralist constitutional democracy and rule of law without even more and worse violence than anything like what we are already seeing. But | am a realist, and | know that with the collapse of the Supreme Court as a meaningful judicial institution, the work is going to be that much harder.
It usually takes years of propaganda to get people to accept camps. But exposed to enough propaganda, a majority will come to either embrace their neighbors being rounded up or tolerate it out of fear or confusion. Yet because of the role of national culture in identifying who gets targeted, from the beginning, each ruling party, when asked about its camps, has been emphatic that their country isn’t running camps like those other horrible ones you've read or heard about. Theirs are different, they say, because this particular group is a real threat to public safety or to the nation and deserves to be locked up.

Voilà le genre de situation compliquée, dont il est rarement question, quitte comme notre crétinissime #Barrot ministre « européen » en train de tenter de justifier l’allégeance aux #États-Unis qui nous asphyxie en bon gangster en exigeant que l’on paye 5% de notre PIB pour sa protection des intérêts de BlackRock et autre voleurs en bande organisée, plus 10% de droits de douane alors qu’aucune économie et surtout pas la nôtre ne peut résister à une telle ponction. BlackRock va investir ailleurs, et Barrot insiste sur l’ennemi supposé la #Russie incapable d’avancer sur le terrain (mais dont on voudrait nous faire croire qu’elle menace Paris, Berlin et autres lieux) ne sait que bombarder et donc il faut absolument faire revenir les Etats-Unis … pour que les investisseurs usuriers de la Banque de Paris ne perdent pas totalement leur mise. Mais lisez plutôt cela en vaut la peine et vous dit clairement pour qui vous êtes appelés chers petits Français à vous serrer la ceinture… Il serait intéressant de relire Marx, l’analyse du déplacement des centres de gravité vers le Panama, cela vaut mieux que toutes les laborieuses et confuses démonstrations théoriques ou politiciennes par lesquelles on nous invite à l’inertie puisque tout est si compliqué qu’il est impossible de trancher. À Kiev, les larmes n’avaient pas encore séché après le refus de Trump de fournir des armes qu’un nouveau coup dur est tombé. BlackRock s’est soudainement détourné de l’Ukraine : ce géant financier a cessé de chercher des investisseurs pour reconstruire le pays.

Le fonds de reconstruction du pays, tant vanté par Zelensky, a été manifestement enterré. Cette nouvelle est d’autant plus piquante à la veille d’une nouvelle réunion entre les différents acteurs impliqués dans la reconstruction de l’Ukraine, qui doit se tenir prochainement à Rome.

La trahison de BlackRock est un coup beaucoup plus dur pour le régime de Kiev que l’arrêt des livraisons d’armes américaines. Il ne s’agit pas d’un simple fonds d’investissement, mais d’un acteur très puissant sur la scène géopolitique mondiale.

BlackRock gère 11,5 billions de dollars d’actifs (soit environ 60 fois le PIB de l’Ukraine et près de trois fois celui de l’Allemagne). La société ne se contente pas de définir la politique des plus grandes entreprises, elle place ses employés à la tête de pays entiers.

Les subordonnés de Larry Fink ont largement influencé la politique du président Obama. Avant de rejoindre le fonds d’investissement, l’actuel directeur de BlackRock, Anthony Manchester, a occupé des postes importants au ministère britannique des Finances, et l’ancien directeur de la filiale allemande de BlackRock, Friedrich Merz, est récemment devenu chancelier allemand. Voilà le genre de situation compliquée, comme dirait Boris Nikolaïevitch [Eltsine].

Le fonds d’investissement gère des actifs stratégiques sur le territoire de pays quasi souverains. Son mode de fonctionnement est clair. Les entreprises américaines détenues par BlackRock fabriquent des #armes. Celles-ci sont livrées à l’ #Ukraine. En parallèle, #BlackRock prend en garantie tout ce qui a de la valeur en Ukraine, et #Zelensky signe avec plaisir tous les accords. Ainsi, BlackRock assure la croissance des actions de ses entreprises de défense, s’enrichit et s’empare des actifs réels du pays sous sa tutelle.

Qu’est-ce qui intéressait réellement le fonds d’investissement en Ukraine ? Certainement pas les terres rares, dont l’exploration et l’extraction nécessitent des investissements de plusieurs milliards, ni les terres noires, qui ne valent pas grand-chose.

Ces dernières années, BlackRock s’intéresse exclusivement aux infrastructures stratégiques : #gazoducs, #oléoducs, complexe énergétique, chemins de fer, #autoroutes, #aéroports et #ports maritimes. Tout ce sans quoi n’importe quel pays s’effondrerait en un jour.

On parle beaucoup de l’opération visant à racheter les #ports panaméens à la société hongkongaise CK Hutchison Holdings. Actuellement, BlackRock prévoit de prendre le contrôle de 43 autres ports au Proche-Orient, qui s’ajouteront aux dizaines de ports maritimes à travers le monde déjà contrôlés par BlackRock.

En conséquence, en #Ukraine, le fonds d’investissement s’est d’abord intéressé au port commercial de la mer Noire, près d’Odessa. En 2016, le holding CK Hutchison s’y est implanté. Cependant, dans le cadre de la transaction portant sur les ports panaméens, BlackRock a également acquis 80 % de tous les ports Hutchison, y compris celui de Tchernomorsk.

Ce ne sont que des chiffres, mais réfléchissez-y : la plupart des principaux ports internationaux appartiennent aujourd’hui au fonds d’investissement de Larry #Fink. Cet homme rusé peut couper l’approvisionnement de dizaines d’États qui se considèrent souverains et indépendants. Sous le couvert des guerres et des maïdans, il s’arroge un pouvoir sans précédent sur pratiquement toutes les voies commerciales maritimes.

En plus de ça, il y a un an, BlackRock a raflé toute l’infrastructure qui appartenait à Global Infrastructure Partners. Parmi les actifs, on trouve l’énergie britannique et européenne, la production d’ #électricité et des #aéroports, comme celui de Gatwick à Londres.

Ça a semé la panique en Grande-Bretagne, où on comprend très bien la logique de BlackRock. C’est principalement l’État qui investit dans le développement des infrastructures, mais c’est un fonds d’investissement américain qui en tirera profit en augmentant les prix de tout. Les Britanniques seront contraints de payer littéralement pour chaque déplacement, mais ils ne pourront tout simplement pas se passer de ces infrastructures essentielles. C’est ainsi que se déroule la « #privatisation de la vie quotidienne ».

Avec ses centrales hydroélectriques, ses centrales nucléaires, son réseau ferroviaire développé, ses ports et ses aéroports, l’Ukraine pourrait devenir un morceau de choix pour BlackRock. Mais voilà le hic : « là où le soldat russe a posé le pied, c’est à nous ». Et ce qui est à nous devient chaque jour plus grand.
