Diplomacy or Submission? The Zionist Grip on U.S. Political Power and Trump’s Uneasy Alliance with Netanyahu
By Scott #Rickard
In analyzing #Trump's interactions with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin #Netanyahu, it becomes increasingly evident that their relationship is neither one of mutual respect nor shared values, but rather a performance dictated by entrenched political coercion. Despite public displays of solidarity, Trump’s demeanor—particularly during joint appearances with Netanyahu—reveals discomfort and a lack of genuine rapport. These interactions stand in stark contrast to his more relaxed and visibly enthusiastic engagements with leaders from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and other Middle Eastern states, where economic and strategic negotiations were central and beneficial to U.S. interests.¹This dissonance suggests that Trump’s alignment with Netanyahu is not driven by national interest or ideology, but rather by a deep-rooted fear of political reprisal from the powerful pro-Israel lobbying apparatus in the United States. Organizations like the American Israel Public Affairs Committee ( #AIPAC), coupled with influential billionaire donors and tightly controlled political patronage networks, have created a political environment where deviation from pro-Israel orthodoxy can spell the end of a political career.² The unspoken threat of reputational or legal exposure—symbolized for many by the unresolved implications of the Jeffrey #Epstein network³—adds an additional layer of unacknowledged coercion.
Trump’s public posture toward Netanyahu thus appears less like diplomacy and more like forced compliance—a survival tactic within a system dominated by Zionist political pressure. The American public is led to believe this is a strategic alliance based on shared democratic values. In reality, it is a spectacle of submission, maintained through a combination of lobbying power, media influence, and financial entanglement.⁴
If Trump were genuinely committed to an “America First” doctrine, he would resist foreign manipulation rather than acquiesce to it. Instead, his administration—like many before it—remained entangled in Israel’s political priorities, often to the detriment of broader #US diplomatic credibility. The larger implication is damning: the U.S. political infrastructure, long championed as a beacon of sovereignty and democratic agency, has been deeply compromised by an external lobby operating with near impunity.
This is not alliance. This is extortion dressed in the costume of diplomacy.References:

Thumbing through the feed, the news on how this or that organization letting go of commercial options for day to day operations are mounting.
This led me to wonder what would be the impact if FOSS, be it on the OS front, productivity front or whatever, was to become truly a relevant option.
I'm painfully aware of the difficulties I've faced trying to take a few online courses to be faced with borderline desdain for not using Windows/Office/Etc and opting for FOSS solutions.
Paying/supporting a FOSS solution does not offend me. I'm happier when giving money directly to a developer or project than to an opaque company. But I'm just one.
But what could happen if the ones became millions, actively contributing with a few coins per year to projects we use daily?
What could/would happen in the short term (under a year), medium-long (one to three years) and the long term (over ten years)?
like this
The scalability problem with FOSS is monetary and motivation.
The successful products need longterm financial security in order to plan and support their peoduct(s) - so, do we start seeing more subscriptions as corp. sponsorship fades away?
And, just like XKCD 2347, FOSS needs to step up and support the components they rely on
That's going to need some more maturity from the developers too: it's a great feeling doing something new and interesting, but - like having a pet - you can't just abandon something when you're bored of it, or too busy, without rehoming your project(s)...
That's where I see the industry needs to improve before they're really ready for the big time.
One huge impact mass FOSS adoption would have is that there would be a lot less software and hardware churn. Commercial nature of proprietary technology is the main driver for constant upgrade cycles we see. Companies need to constantly sell products to stay in business, and this means you have to deprecate old software and hardware in order to sell new versions of the product.
Windows 11 roll out is a perfect example. Vast majority of Windows 10 users are perfectly happy with the way their computer works currently, they're not demanding any new features, they just want their computer to continue to work the way it does currently. However, Microsoft is ending support for Windows 10 and now they're forced to buy a new computer to keep doing what they've been doing.
This problem goes away entirely with open source because there is no commercial incentive at play. If a piece of software works, and there is a community of users using it, then it can keep working the way it does indefinitely. Furthermore, in cases where a software project goes in a directions some users don't like, such as the case with Gnome, then software can be forked by users who want to go in a different direction or preserve original functionality. This is how Cinnamon and Mate projects came about.
Another aspect of the open source dynamic is that there's an incentive to optimize software. So, you can get continuous performance improvements without having to constantly upgrade your hardware. For most commercial software, there's little incentive to do that since that costs company money. It's easier to just expect users to upgrade their hardware if they want better performance.
I would argue that non technical software users would be far better off if they had the option to fund open source software instead of buying commercial versions. Even having to pay equal amounts, the availability of the source puts more power in the hands of the users. For example, building on the example of Gnome, users of an existing software project could also pull funds together to pay developers to add features to the software or change functionality in a particular way.
This is precisely what makes licenses like GPL so valuable in my opinion. It's a license that ensure the source stays open, and in this way inherently gives more power to the users.

Starting to look more seriously into the STM32H750/753.
The 753 is the part I really want to use, the 750 is the same die fused down to disable all but the first 128 kB of flash. But I picked up several of them during the chip shorage and I feel like I should put them to use.
They're mostly comparable to the H735 I use now. Key differences:
* CPU Fmax down from 550 to 480 MHz
* RAM nearly doubled from 564 to 1024 kB
* Flash increased from 1 MB to 2 MB in the 753, but reduced to 128 kB in the 750
* 40 more GPIOs (128 -> 168)
* Package enlarged from 201 ball 0.65mm (10x10 mm) to 265 ball 0.8mm (14x14 mm).
That last bit is what has me the most interested. The 0.65mm H735 package is usable on OSHPark 4L, barely, but you lose a lot of IO and the parallel memory controller etc. aren't practical to use.
While the H75x is available in the same footprint, you can also get it in the 0.8mm package which should be much more friendly to the large via sizes offered on OSHPark. So it could be a winner for prototypes where I care more about ease of access to IO and MCU-FPGA interfacing than about absolute max CPU performance.
I've been using the H757 dual core in the .8mm 256 BGA. I'm pretty happy with it.
It takes a bit to get used to debugging, you flash it using the M7 which does memory for both cores, but if you want to debug the M4 you have to connect without downloading anything.
The biggest pain so far is M4 can't read some sysmem stuff - like ADC calibration values. I use a shared memory struct to pass data between cores.
I use the M4 to handle ADC, UART, etc, and M7 to draw the MIPI display.

Their “virtue”? I’ve had it up to here. They think they’re saving the world with their speeches, but by constantly preaching and acting like eco-Ayatollahs, they’re doing the exact opposite: pissing people off so much they vote for the worst out of sheer spite.

Here's another good example of a new discovery based in part on the creative #reuse of #OpenData originally collected for another purpose.

Update. Another good example of reusing older #data for a new purpose. Aerial mapping photos of Antarctica taken by the Navy in the 1960s, and then lost, help reconstruct the collapse of glaciers.

I'm witnessing professionals spending hours to engineer prompts for Copilot to do basic things like find a line in a file that has a string in it, or figure out who committed most frequently to a sub-path in a repository, or generate boiler plate code for classes.. None of these things require #AI. `grep`, `git log..`, and editor snippets have existed for a long time. They are quick. They are EXACT. They are FREE. They do not boil the oceans. They do not displace the workforce. They are more efficient and productive.
Learn the tools of your trade. If all you're doing is using AI, that means AI can and will replace you.
I have for some time now held the belief that AI may finally rid us of BS jobs - it's just that the BS is not going away, but only the BS'ers.
YMMV, of course 😂 🤷♂️
this is the EXACT reason I don't use AI, personally I'm not even opposed to the technology, the simple fact is that it's fucking bad at what it does
I unironically save time by simply writing the scripts and code to do this myself, even putting the ideological problems aside, why would anyone worth their salt in the tech industry use a system that slows them down? the answer is they won't

— totally agree with this. He’s gotta speak up and be honest.
At the same time, it’s totally uncool that she’s not checking in with how he’s doing. When does just focusing on your lane become self-centeredness and taking your spouse for granted?
Whenever there’s an issue, resolution is most likely when each side takes as much responsibility as possible for fixing it.
