I'm a bit emotional right now. But in the bad way to be fair. I just got stung by a wasp without any reason, after having to take a extensive shower before because my body was totally itchy from all the mites and whatnot. UGH! 😫
I've been pretty proud in the beginning of this experiment, because there were lots of wild bees, beetles and other cool critters around here. It's basically like being in nature.
But I forgot that nature sucks... 🥲
For example, imagine laying in the grass and just chilling. Beautiful for the first 5 seconds, but then, you begin getting stung in the asscreek by a dozen ants and get everything ruined.
Nature is basically dead in my area, so only the asshole bugs survive here.
The whole balcony is swarmed by aphids/ mites as well as ant colonies that protect those suckers from ladybugs and other beneficial predatory insects.
The aphids droop honeydew everywhere, which attracts lots of yellow jacket wasps, which in return could kill my girlfriend in minutes because she's highly allergic. I didn't even realise that asshole (the wasp, lol) is there until I got stung just by existing.
I'm right about to pull the trigger and get my pesticides (neem oil/ pyrethrum extract) out.
Also, I began to hate soil even more than before. I have to hunt for slugs every evening, because they're everywhere, and I can barely stand a chance against them. There are gnats living in it too, as well as other unwanted guests.
The plants in soil are starting to spread diseases and pests to my otherwise healthy plants in hydroponics. I will for example harvest my weed soon, and there are bugs sticking in the buds like in a glue trap. I have no idea how I should get them out of them, it's just disgusting.
I also largely prefer hydro compared to soil, not only because there are less pests, but also because due to the much lower water demand and control it gives me. The soil is guzzling water like crazy and still the plants are looking way less healthy.
Spraying neem oil on my hydro plants and just not using soil anymore seems to be the way better choice right now.
but let's keep in mind that "nature" isn't sleeping beauty, it's animals and plants all trying to get one over on one another. They don't give a shit.
Second, like, agriculture isn't nature. It's highly managed systems out of any kind of ecological context. So mixing you pot in with nasturtium? Maybe get off of tiktok for gardening advice.
Pick: Do you want to grow plants for human products or do you want a slice of the natural world?
If you want to grow for production, out doors indoors doesn't matter. The name of the game is sanitation sanitation sanitation. And you can manage that in a mixed system.
Second, your "mites" aren't mites, they are aphids. I can't believe I have to explain this to a weed grower. Ants will move aphids around plants, effectively using them as their own form of animal agriculture. So relying on spraying doesn't solve the primary issue there. You will need to spray to get the superficial stuff under control if you want to, but getting the ants under control is the only real way to control the aphids. The ants are far better at spreading aphids than you are at managing them. Beat the ants and then beat the aphids.
As far as beating the ants. Figure out what species they are first. Plenty ants will die back a bit from a chemical spray, but then come back with a vengeance a few weeks later because stress causes them to make more queens.
What can you do? Take it all as a lesson, take some time to clear you mind about what you want to do, and give it another go after cleaning up the mess. The outdoor pot is prob unrecoverable and will be swaggy after anyways. And it's not clear why you are growing. Figure out what you want from growing and focus on doing that effectively.
If you want nature, that comes with slugs and wasps and ants. And mixed systems can be effective (my garden has probably a hundred different species). But it takes a long time and a lot of experience to have the knowledge to be able to identify issues early and respond appropriately for each plant in a mixed system.

Okay, just from the pictures, let me say what I think is happening:
1) You're growing too many different kinds of plants in a small space. 2) You're growing Cannabis, which draws literally every sweet-sensing pest. 3) Those things on the underside of the leaves you posted are Ladybug larvae, and they are GOOD.
You clear this up in about a week with a few simple things:
1) Get a clutch of ladybugs from your local nursery or plant stores. This should be available almost everywhere in the US. 2) Although I don't want to advocate for this because I love local pollinators, get a pheromone trap for the stinging insects. They cost about $10, and don't lure honeybees, but WILL kill local carpenter bees and yellow jackets. 3) For the aphids, get a soap-based spray, or make it yourself. It's pretty much just dish soap and water, but there are guides online. Spray EVERY MORNING AND AFTER SUNSET. This plus the ladybug clutch will make quick work of the aphids. 4) I see you have Basil in containers, move that AWAY from the plants that are infested with scale or aphids. 5) Depending on where you live, your nursery's may sell Mantids. Get them. They are beneficial, but ruthless in eating and killing anything in their grasp, including wasps. 6) If you have wasps around, there is a nest nearby. Inspect your building awnings, trees, or under anything shaded and find that nest. It's not two doors over, it's within 100ft of where you got stung. Find it, set a pheromone trap around your plants (not where you think the nest is), then after a lot of them are dead, go find and remove the nests next.
Don't leave standing water around, and make sure that you stay on schedule with the soap spray. Most of this will be cleared in just a week.
Edit: also for the slugs and stuff, you're growing a lot of stuff in a mostly shaded area, so you're just asking for slugs. Line a general area around your plants with Diatomaceous Earth. It's cheap, easy to use, and doesn't harm anything that doesn't crawl. Also, organic.
Double edit: DO NOT spray this black bugs with the striped butts. Those will be ladybugs soon that eat all the aphids. They are good.

Those larvae pictures are already a bit older, maybe two weeks? They probably got killed by the ants or wasps, because I rarely see them around anymore. I also rarely see any other aphid eating insects anymore, only ants and ants carrying carcasses 🙁
Wasps fly a rather straight pattern back to their nest. Find the nest by using some food they like, such as a sugar drink, and see where they fly to when they leave. Move the container closer until you find the nest.

It's a small thing, but I'd been feeling kinda gross about myself lately, and I started setting aside some time to just wear some cute lingerie around the house for no real reason once a week. My husband has started commenting unprompted how much he's looking forward to "Sexy Sunday" and I kinda love it.
Same! Got a wicked pair of boots and a new vest from the thrift yesterday. Cut my hair in the mirror, got decked out and my wife's eye popped. Even my 12-yo was looking at me, uh, funny. Don't think she knew daddy could dress like that! (She lives with her mom far away. Mostly sees me dressed up in "hiking with a shotgun" chic, not "metrosexual" chic.)

I randomly went full vegan after eating a Costco frozen lasagna one night. At the time I was drinking heavily, eating very poorly and pretty stressed out but something about the nasty beef crumbles getting stuck between my teeth set me off.
It’s been nearly six years and I wouldn’t go back to eating meat for the world. I wasn’t really an animal person but after marrying my wife and becoming very attached to her two chihuahuas my heart breaks that people can’t be bothered to stop eating meat. Animals are innocent and what we do to them isn’t right.
I went vegetarian 13 years ago. I lost a little weight in the beginning, then immediately gained it all back once I figured out what I liked. If being vegetarian makes you healthier, that's a skill issue, considering pizza and ice cream can be vegetarian.
Around December my doctor told me my cholesterol and blood pressure was dangerously high. I have cut out about 95% of animal products out of my diet. I'm down to basically non fat greek yogurt. I refer to myself as an involuntary vegan.
I can't stress enough how much this isn't about will power but exploiting my depression for health benefits. It's easy to get rid of things if all it does is make me happy.

Learned Japanese on a whim so I could watch anime without subtitles. Now by complete coincidence I'm in Japan and not banging my head against the nearly insurmountable language barrier (Japanese people are really bad at English).
I decided to start learning French last year and have been essentially speed running it. Learning another language makes my brain happy (I'm fluent in 2 already).
When I was in high school, I convinced my parents to sign me up for Japanese classes on the weekend because the sequel to my favorite game didn't get translated. Didn't end up getting all that far in it, my ADHD/autistic ass had a hard time paying attention in class and I had too much actual schoolwork to keep up with so I kinda just didn't do the homework.

I just think its so funny how hard online games have tried to "curve toxicity" by limiting player communication or trying to punish players for toxic behavior.

I found on my Linux or Android systems, magnitudes more power can be saved by minimizing I/O consumption, like "data saver." This brings down by magnitudes those CPU wakeup interrupts. I also found increasing the time between flushing the write data to storage helps too. A quiet I/O bus is a power saving I/O bus. Displaying seconds uses orders of magnitude less power than wifi or cell phone modem wakeups.
I guess the race to "I can do that in 1 watt" is real. I would worry more about potential corruption from delaying writes without a UPS which uses power. And around we go.
I found there was a limit to delaying writes. After about 24 hours, the memory overflows and there was no automatic flushing handler in the kernel at the time. And that was the kernel panic...
