I've been having electrical issue with my 94 Suburban. Batteries going bad (but under warranty) - 3 replacements in a year. Eventually the starter, distributor and alternator also went bad...
With each fix the "slow-start" issue remained - like the battery was low. It finally dawned on me that I must have an issue with the ground wire either to the engine block or chassis. I checked both and they were secure...
Then I called a friend who is a automotive savant - he asked if I had disconnected the ground wire to check for corrosion?
Me: duh! Why didn't I think of that?
Anyway, I pulled them apart and sure enough they were heavily corroded. I cleaned them and re-installed. Then turned the key and no slow start issue! (I'll be ordering new battery cables to replace both since they are original from 1994)
So if you have older vehicles, try cleaning the ground wire connections to avoid these issues.
I wonder how many cars are in junk yards because of this simple problem?
@Otto Pureblood Now you know. So what about the distributor, the alternatiors and the batteries that you thought all went bad? Were they really bad in retrospect, or were they just done in, by the intermittent ground? If they're still around you should recheck them.
I found out the importance of proper grounding when I would attach two way radios, linear amplifiers and attennas to my vehicles. Clean grounding to the chassis was a must, for both the radios and the antennas as well.
It was of utmost importantance to also ground the base of the antennas to the chissis as well. Grinding away any paint on the underside of the mounting surface of the anntena's base was key and using a heavy gauge wire to attach it to the chassis. It's good that you worked it out.
They were also bad... Caused by the intermittent ground. If special note: the voltage regulator is inside the alternator that was allowing the alternator to put out 14.4 to 14.7 volts. The circle of life in electrical form.
Not to mention the water pump was leaking from the weep hole... And by "leaking" I mean gushing.
Also, let me add a "fuck you" to the chevy engineer who thought the voltage regulator inside the alternator was a good idea.
@Otto Pureblood That's true. I usually opt for third party alternators myself, I usually use Leece-Neville's. There was a time when I had a setup where I had two alternators running with dual pulleys.
The original alternator would charge up the battery up front and the second one would charge up the batteries in the back, that run the other electronics such as inverters and such. I'm sort of a mad scientist or at least I once was. I'm not a scientist any longer but I may still be mad.

I was not, and have no intention on commenting what Israel "should" be doing, other than stop behaving like a rogue lawless actor. "Humanitarian intervention" is a fraught concept, conceptually and practically. But if there are any certainties in that debate, it's that ethno-suprematist, expansionist, and revanchist actors reserving the right to bomb any and all countries in the region at will and illegally occupying parts of the country in question can not be trusted to be acting in good faith or to perform interventions that in any way improve the situation.
There actually is a process for trying to get an internationally legitimised military intervention going to save a minority from being wiped out. Think about why Israel shows zero interest in pursuing that process.

Algerian Muslim Woman Stabbed To Death By ‘Racist’ Neighbour
Rahma Ayat, a 26-year-old Algerian woman studying nursing in Hanover, Germany, was stabbed to death in her apartment building by her 31-year-old neighbour.
Rahma contacted her family in Algeria to complain about her neighbour, who was constantly harassing her, making racist remarks and mocking her Hijab.
Rahma was stabbed to death on the morning of 4th July in the stairwell of her apartment building in Arnum, Hanover.
According to police and eyewitnesses, neighbours heard her cries for help and alerted authorities. She was found with multiple stab wounds to her chest and shoulder, and died shortly after emergency services arrived.
A 31-year-old German man who lived in the same building was arrested later that day and remains in custody.
Despite repeatedly complaining to the German police about her neighbour, the complaints were "not taken seriously."

Hola, sí. Yo uso logseq para tomar notas en el trabajo. Apuntarme procedimientos, cosillas que sé que se me van a olvidar... A mí me gusta mucho como se organiza con las hojas tipo diario y el enlazado de páginas con hashtags. Yo llegué desde OneNote y lo único que echo de menos es la organización en libros>secciones>páginas>subpáginas, y poder organizarlo todo libremente en un lienzo 2D, ya que logseq es markdown (tiene también lo de las pizarras, pero no me gusta mucho).

Me gusta que puedes hacer muchos niveles de organización (no sé como se llama, pero tengo punto 1, 1.1, 1.1.1... hasta el infinito) y "minimizarlos", cosa que cuando probé obsidian me suena que me frustró no poder hacer. Para lo demás no sé que decirte, yo lo que uso mucho son los tags, pero es uqe no lo uso como toma de notas sino para organizar materiales docentes y apuntes
a mi me echo para atrás el no poder escribir sin que todo sean viñetas. Yo volví a Obsidian, quite el 80% de plugins y volví a simplificar. Lo que mas me gustaba de logseq es lo de arrancar de la vista diaria continúa, pero podría tenerlo en Obsidian
yo lo uso diariamente, básicamente como diario y como repositorio de notas enlazadas y guay, yo pago lo de 5$ al mes para tener sincronizadas las notas entre dispositivos...
yo uso #logseq diariamente desde hace años. Va bien, es casi idéntico a #obsidian. Tiene dos diferencias importantes.
1) que todo parte de un diario, y desde allí enlazas o creas otras notas. La verdad es que va muy bien porque es rápido y no tienes que preocuparte de donde guardas notas inicialmente (luego puedes moverflas fácilmente siempre, sin romper links)
