Agreed. This is one of the reasons why I am an ethnicist not a racialist.
That and the Southern, Eastern, Irish, and Meds are mixed so even "white" is inaccurate.

Unknown parent • • •It's 2 different things: "Ulster Irish" are actually Scottish or English but from the Scottish border. But they have been considered some of the most uncivilized people on the planet. The reason they're called Ulster Irish is because the British deported them to Ireland to "deal with the Catholic problem" but quickly decided that the cure was worse than the disease, and proceeded to deport them to the Americas.
So if @amerika considers Irish Catholics to be non-white, but Ulster Irish to be white, it's a bit silly...

Unknown parent • • •Okay but that creates a paradox in your definition of "white", because borderers are widely known for being more violent, criminal and uncivilized than Irish or Italians.
I mean even the British preferred to deal with the Irish themselves but banish the Borderers to the New World, and the colonists refused them entry to their colonies (even the Quakers refused to let them in!) that should tell you everything you need to know about them.
