Well, that was an interesting phone scam attempt.

Claimed to be from Telstra, dangled a 40% discount but very specifically didn't tell me what services I was using, if any. Read out a valid GMail address that I do still use for some services, and which has been involved in a few data leaks in the past.

Then told me to check my phone for a login code "from Telstra".

MFA code arrived *from Google*.

That seems suspiciously like someone trying to log in to or reset the password on my GMail account.

I was playing along just out of boredom, but I could see that catching someone out for sure.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine congratulates the comrade and internationalist fighter Georges Abdallah on the decision to release him after more than four decades spent in French prisons, in a heroic and exceptional defiance of the most heinous tools of imperialist oppression, and warns against any imperialist and zionist pressures or attempts to thwart this decision, as happened previously.

This decision represents a victory for the will of steadfastness and revolutionary resilience, and at the same time embodies a victory for the cause of Palestine, whose banner this great progressive leader carried with pride and competence.

The continued detention of comrade Abdallah, despite a judicial decision for his release, constituted a stain on the forehead of French and American imperialism, and a blatant complicity with the zionist entity. It reminds that this arrest and detention is purely political, and represented a blatant violation of the law and decisions of the French judiciary. It commends his principled stance rejecting all attempts at blackmail and bargaining, and his insistence on the legitimacy of the Palestinian resistance, considering it a legitimate option with no compromise.

“I am sick as I write you. I cannot explain what the problem is. That is why I seek your assistance to ascertain what is happening. System of problem unknown, however my head is spinning several times daily. I complained and an x-ray of my brain was taken. I had injections of something provided by medical. Now I am going through the situation once again. I feel faint and dizzy currently. I am reaching out. This is something I need the comrades to do. Build To Win! Kojo”

We are asking people to email, fax and call Butner FMC to inquire as to why they are not giving this serious medical situation the attention required to ascertain what exactly is causing this alarming problem. You can request to speak with his counselor. If that is not possible, please state your concern regarding this recurring medical problem. Be polite but firm in demanding that proper medical attention be provided to Kojo.

Kojo is 72 years old and has been in prison since 1975. He was originally transferred to Butner for a hip replacement, which was successful. Now we need to support our elder and ensure he gets the medical attention he needs.

Today, Thursday, July 17, 2025, the Paris Court of Appeal has ordered the release of our comrade, Lebanese communist and resistance fighter in the Palestinian liberation struggle, Georges Ibrahim Abdallah, who has been imprisoned for over 40 years.

After more than four decades of relentless political and judicial persecution and imprisonment by the French authorities and successive governments, after a life of struggle and steadfast resistance, after decades of mobilization by his supporters to liberate Georges Abdallah from French colonial and imperialist prisons, our comrade is finally set to be released from French custody on July 25.

Our immense joy at the announcement of this decision cannot be complete, however, until he has arrived in Lebanon—on his land, surrounded by comrades, loved ones, and family—he, whose flame of resistance has never been extinguished despite the efforts of France and its allies. Throughout these more than 40 years of imprisonment, Georges Ibrahim Abdallah has stood as a symbol of struggle and determination for entire generations of activists, who have come of age in political engagement with his name in their hearts and have mobilized to demand his release. Even today, from his prison cell, Georges Abdallah remains a living symbol of the resistance of peoples against imperialism, colonialism, and Zionism—an uncompromising resistance that refuses to yield in the face of its enemies. His example has proven vital for the movement in support of the Palestinian people and their resistance over the past decades.

The political responsibility taken on by Georges Abdallah from his prison cell over the past 40 years exemplifies the unique role and mission borne by all revolutionary prisoners— including and particularly the more than 10,800 Palestinian prisoners, and especially the imprisoned leaders of the Palestinian resistance. Those who confront the repressive, colonial, and imperialist prison systems, by virtue of their role before and during their incarceration, embody the advanced front of their people’s resistance to oppression.

As we celebrate the upcoming liberation of our comrade, our hearts and minds remain torn, and our thoughts turn to the more than 10,800 Palestinian prisoners enduring starvation, illness, isolation, violence, sexual assault, and targeted killings in Zionist prisons. We extend our deepest solidarity to the imprisoned leadership of the resistance—those sentenced to dozens, hundreds, even thousands of years, accumulating life sentences, yet whose certainty of being freed through the struggle of their comrades remains unshaken. We think of the fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, loved ones and comrades, in the hands of the enemy, far from those they love, far from the warmth of their communities—yet who, through resistance and struggle, have built a school of struggle and a community of resistance within the Zionist prisons. Our thoughts are with the 73 prisoners who have been martyred in Zionist prisons since October 7, and with the families of the martyrs held in the morgues and “cemeteries of numbers” of the Zionist regime, where over 700 bodies of Palestinian martyrs are being held, stolen from their families, denied a dignified burial—leaving behind a gaping wound no amount of love from their people can fill. We think of all prisoners of the Palestinian cause and all revolutionary prisoners torn from their comrades and loved ones, in Zionist, imperialist, and reactionary prisons around the world. The upcoming liberation of our comrade Georges Ibrahim Abdallah will be their victory, and we will continue to mobilize until we can celebrate theirs as well.

As our comrade Georges Ibrahim Abdallah receives the news of his imminent release in his cramped cell in Lannemezan, and shares it with his fellow detainees, our hearts bleed in the face of the current situation in Gaza and the region more broadly, in the face of the genocide the Palestinian people have endured for over 21 months now. Every liberation of prisoners torn from imperialist and Zionist prisons—especially those who, like Georges, have refused any compromise or betrayal despite decades of incarceration—is a promise of future victory, of better days ahead, and of justice for the lives and futures torn apart by colonial violence.

We extend our most heartfelt and sincere greetings and thanks to the successive generations of comrades who have fought this battle with determination—to those who passed away before seeing this moment, to all those whose hearts beat in unison with our comrade, to the organizations and individuals who dedicated years of their lives, sleepless nights, and months of mobilization to build events and demonstrations; to those who chanted our comrade’s name in the streets, on university campuses, and wherever their steps led them. The zionist enemy resumed its barbaric, nazi aggression against our people and families in the Gaza Strip four months ago—after betraying and breaking covenants, turning against the agreement reached with the resistance in January of this year, lying to mediators and to the world, and returning in search of its so-called victory.For four months, the enemy has continued its sadism against civilians and children, indulging its gangs’ obsession with the systematic destruction of neighborhoods, cities, and civilian residential areas. It persists in this battle and in this brutal war against our people.

Twenty-one months—summarized in the steadfastness of mountains from the fighters and resistance of our people, and the patience of prophets from our great, proud, and generous nation.

Twenty-one months of shame and disgrace have haunted the wicked, occupying usurpers, along with disgraceful abandonment by brothers in blood, Arab identity, and Islam—except those whom God has shown mercy among the sincere and the fighters, among the oppressed and overwhelmed peoples, and among the free people of the world who remain in harmony with their humanity.

In recent months, the enemy announced an operation it called “Gideon’s Chariots,” attempting to project biblical myths in order to confer false sanctity on its racist, nazi war—a war resembling nothing but the deeds of devils and the practices of filthy, cowardly gangs.

We confronted the “Gideon’s Chariots” operation—and continue to do so, by the power of God—through a series of “Stones of David” operations, inspired by God’s victory for His believing servant David (peace be upon him) in his confrontation with the oppressive, tyrannical Goliath. God granted our fighters success and guided their aim by His permission. God was with His soldiers, as they repeated with every strike: “And you did not throw when you threw, but God threw.”

Our fighters—side by side with the fighters and resistance members from our brother factions, especially our brothers in Saraya Al-Quds—are engaged in an unequal confrontation, with unmatched faith, great strength, and unbreakable determination, through the power, grace, and success granted by God.

During these months, we have caused hundreds of casualties among the enemy’s soldiers—killed and wounded—and thousands have suffered from psychological disorders and trauma. The number of enemy soldiers committing suicide continues to rise, due to the horror of the filthy and bloody acts they commit, and the magnitude of the resistance they face, surrounded by God’s presence and His soldiers.

Our fighters continue to surprise the enemy with new and varied tactics and methods, having drawn lessons from the longest war and confrontation in our people’s history. They have carried out unique, heroic, and high-level operations. They continue targeting enemy vehicles with shells and explosive devices, engaging in direct combat, sniping soldiers and officers, blowing up buildings and tunnel openings, setting complex ambushes, and launching raids on enemy forces.

The world witnessed our heroes climbing onto enemy vehicles in Khan Younis, reaching the occupying soldiers at point-blank range, pursuing the criminal soldier who had mastered the demolition of civilian homes, finishing him off, and seizing his weapon.

Our fighters have attempted in recent weeks to carry out several operations to capture zionist soldiers. Some of these operations nearly succeeded—were it not for the will of God first, and then the enemy’s use of a tactic of mass killing of its own soldiers suspected of being exposed to capture attempts.

Our fighters’ operations have extended from the far north and east of Beit Hanoun and Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip, through the neighborhoods of Al-Tuffah, Shuja’iyya, and Al-Zaytoun in Gaza City, reaching all the way to Khan Younis and Rafah—making Gaza’s resistance the greatest military school for a people’s resistance confronting its occupiers in modern history.

O our people and our nation, we in the Martyr Izz El-Din Al-Qassam Brigades—after 21 months of the Al-Aqsa Flood battle and the zionist nazi war against our people—affirm that our fighters and our brothers in the resistance factions are fully ready to continue a long war of attrition against the occupation forces, regardless of the form of their aggression or their offensive plans. Our fighters have pledged themselves to steadfastness and to inflicting heavy blows on the enemy until the aggression is defeated or they attain martyrdom.

Our fighting is a principled matter and an indisputable right—a sacred religious and national duty. We have no choice but to fight with full strength, determination, and severe might, with the help and support of God. We will fight with the stones of the earth and with what we possess—willpower and believing men who, with little weaponry, perform astonishing miracles by God’s grace.

The strategy and decision of the Al-Qassam leadership at this stage is to ensure deadly blows against enemy soldiers, carry out focused, high-impact operations at point-blank range, and pursue the capture of zionist soldiers.

If the enemy’s terrorist government chooses to continue the war of extermination, it is at the same time choosing to continue receiving the coffins of its soldiers and officers. Their tanks will not save them, nor will they protect them from the torrents of death forged by faithful hands and cast by the hand of God. They thought their fortresses would protect them from God—but God came to them from where they did not expect and cast terror into their hearts.

We are proud of the steadfastness and heroism of our fighters, and we are deeply aware of the pain and suffering endured by our wounded people and our patient families—whose pain we live with day by day. Our fulfillment of the duty entrusted to us by our Lord, in resisting and fighting this enemy, does not absolve the two-billion-strong nation from its own duty—a duty it has unfortunately abandoned.

Our enemy is supplied by the most powerful oppressive forces in the world with endless convoys of weapons and ammunition, while the regimes and powers of our own nation look on at their suffering in the land of steadfastness—as they are killed by the tens of thousands, starved, and denied water and medicine.

We say this to history—with all bitterness and pain—and in front of all the sons and daughters of our nation: O leaders of this Islamic and Arab nation, O its elites and major parties, O its scholars—you are our adversaries before Almighty God. You are the adversaries of every orphaned child, every grieving mother, every displaced, homeless, wounded, devastated, and starving person. Your necks are burdened with the blood of tens of thousands of innocents who were betrayed by your silence.

This criminal nazi enemy would never have committed this genocide before your very eyes and ears had it not been confident of impunity, assured of your silence, and secure in your betrayal. We do not absolve anyone of responsibility for this flowing blood, and we exclude no one who possesses the ability to act—each according to their capacity and influence.

By God, we see the humiliation and contempt with which the enemy treats our nation—its desecration of it, its rampage through it—and our hearts bleed with pain, because we understand the cowardice, weakness, and disgrace of this enemy, and its true size.

And we understand, before all else, the divine truth about it: “Indeed, you are more feared in their hearts than God—if only it were met with the dignity of Islam from its people and the lost Arab pride.” But it is weakness, and God is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs.Can a great, mighty, and noble nation not bring food, water, and medicine to the starving and besieged people of Gaza? Can it not stop the bloodshed that is being poured out in terror against our nation and in a greedy effort to break it—to establish a zionist empire on the land of Arabism and Islam, with its capital as your first Qibla and the site of your Prophet’s Night Journey (peace be upon him)—or perhaps upon its ruins? May the eyes of the cowards never sleep.We extend our salutations to our dear and blessed people in Yemen—the land of wisdom and faith—to their armed forces, and to the sincere brothers of Ansarallah, who astonished the world with their steadfastness and the truthfulness of their stance with Palestine, Gaza, its people, and its fighters. They imposed an effective front on the enemy and presented a decisive argument against those who remained idle and submissive—among the major Arab and Islamic regimes, powers, and parties—some of whom, sadly, have become fronts for injustice and sedatives for the people and their free youth. Their credibility and grand slogans have been put to the test in the face of their betrayal and failure to support the purest and holiest cause of Arabs and Muslims.
Salutations to all the free people in the world who are striving to show solidarity, break the siege, and lift the oppression from our people by all means—disregarding danger, betrayal, and attempts at defamation by the hypocrites of this nation, who think every outcry is aimed at them.

All initiatives and expressions of solidarity from the free people of the world—whether they succeed or are sabotaged under zionist pressure—are a source of pride and honor for our people. We call for these efforts to escalate and continue, and for the exposure of this enemy by every means and in every arena and field.

We strongly support the stance of the Palestinian resistance delegation in the indirect negotiations with the enemy. We have repeatedly offered in recent months a comprehensive deal in which we would release all of the enemy’s prisoners at once—but the war criminal Netanyahu and his ministers from the nazi movement have rejected this offer.

It has become clear to us that the government of the criminal Netanyahu has no real interest in the captives because they are soldiers. Their case is not a priority, and the regime has prepared the public to accept the possibility that they are all dead. Still, we have held to preserving their lives as much as possible until now.

We are closely monitoring the ongoing negotiations, and we hope they lead to an agreement and a deal that guarantees an end to the war on our people, a withdrawal of occupation forces, and relief for our families. But if the enemy remains obstinate and withdraws from this round—as it has done in every previous one—then we do not guarantee any return to partial deals or to the “ten prisoners” proposal.

One of the clearest signs of the zionist failure in confronting the resistance and breaking our people’s will is its resort to vile solutions—war crimes, collective punishment, genocide, and ethnic cleansing—openly supported, unfortunately, by the U.S. administration.

The enemy excels in torturing innocents, openly declares his intention to displace people, boasts about systematic destruction as a military achievement, and presents plans to the world for establishing Nazi concentration camps under false, deceptive humanitarian pretexts.

It is as if this enemy wants to practice experiments that occurred many decades ago, and inflict them upon its enemies with a sadism and criminality that makes Nazism pale in comparison, which necessitates the rejection of these camps by the entire world.

The lie of antisemitism, which our enemies have fed on for decades, will be a farce and a scandal. It is not our people’s fault to pay the price for the psychological complexes of criminal zionism; rather, the zionists must know that the reason for nations’ animosity and innate hatred towards them is their actions and crimes against humanity.

Attempts to employ mercenaries and agents for the occupation under Arab names are a sign of failure, and a guaranteed recipe for defeat. These agents will be nothing but a burnt card in the consciousness and dignity of our people and their rejection of betrayal, and what the enemy spends on them will be regret, calamity, and a clear loss for the occupation and its agents, Allah willing.

I started it to protest my illegal and unredressed extradition from Germany to Hungary a year ago, the repressive persecution of anti-fascists, the dubious legal proceedings with a pre-determined outcome, my solitary confinement, which continues to this day, and the inhumane conditions of detention in Hungarian jails. Now, after almost six weeks, I have decided to suspend my hunger strike.

I don’t want to continue abusing my health, because I feel that if I don’t turn around now, it will soon be too late. So, it wouldn’t do much good if my requests were met. I would be scarred for life, perhaps I already am. I never wanted to get to this point; I naively hoped that something as radical as the hunger strike would finally raise awareness among those in charge and all those who can change something, that they would take action, after a year of soothing statements, smiles, and ignorance.

Now, there’s not much left of me. My body—a skeleton, with an intact, fighting, and living spirit. It smiles, searches the horizon for freedom and community, and refuses to accept the lack of justice. But I’m not ready to take the step toward imminent death. Of course, we’re not sure; maybe there are still a few days, maybe a few weeks. But if I were to lose consciousness, I would be shifting the responsibility onto the people fighting alongside me, something I’m not ready to impose on anyone. The same would happen if I were subjected to force-feeding.

On July 1st, I was transferred to a prison hospital, 250 km from Budapest, because by then there were already serious concerns about the stability of my health. The new location is quieter than the jail in the big city, but just as isolated, if not more so. Contact with my family is also severely limited. My lawyer, always an indispensable support, now needs a whole day to visit me. During my hour-long walk in the courtyard, I don’t meet any fellow inmates. I spend the remaining 23 hours in the cell, because there are no activities here. The loneliness is heartbreaking, homesickness fills the horizon. Medically, it is possible to get the body back on its feet in this place, but mental recovery seems impossible here. With the predictable return to Budapest, nothing will have changed, because there awaits me what made the hunger strike a necessity. Neither hospital nor prison in Hungary can be a solution.

My demands remain unchanged! I require a transfer back to Germany or house arrest and legal proceedings in accordance with the rule of law. I am determined not to remain silent and to protest, even in the future, for as long as necessary.

I am now ending my hunger strike so that no one is responsible for any long-term or permanent damage to my health. However, this does not absolve anyone of the responsibility to create humane detention conditions, free from pain and suffering, for everyone, to conduct independent judicial proceedings in accordance with the rule of law, whose sentence is not written in advance, and to guarantee the integrity of the detained person, to respect their dignity instead of despising and punishing them. If this does not happen, if my demands are still ignored, I am determined to resume my hunger strike.

I demand what is necessary—that I be able to be at home with my family, that I be able to develop through school, work, etc., that I be able to prepare for trial on an equal footing and no longer be buried alive in a cell. I am still waiting for a clear and honest word, an apology from those responsible for my extradition, as well as an offer of reparation. Even if it comes last, it is the most important thing to me.

Thank you to all those who spoke out, who stood by our side, and to those who have been there, courageously, for a long time, to those who firmly defend the need for anti-fascism, to those who support us, who sacrifice nights and days, who donate, and who are anchors. This diversity is called resistance and utopia at the same time. My thoughts constantly go out to my family and close comrades, knowing the pain they are experiencing and admiring their courage and self-sacrifice. My thanks are expressed today in words. But rest assured that the seed of solidarity with what is possible has fallen on fertile soil. Thus, I hope that not only I, but also many others have been able to unite courage and strength of will, in these last weeks, to look forward, hand in hand, never forgiving, but smiling.

Police Claim 6 Guerrilla Cadres Killed In Skirmish With Security Personnel In Narayanpur District

Narayanpur District, July 18, 2025: At least six persons police claim to be cadres of the CPI (Maoist) were killed in a firefight with security personnel in the hilly forested terrain of Abujhmad region in Chhattisgarh’s Narayanpur district, about 400 km south of Raipur, State Inspector General of Police (Bastar Range) P. Sundarraj announced to the press today.

A combing operation was launched by a joint team of security forces in the Abujhmad region based on intelligence inputs about the presence of Maoist cadres in the area. An exchange of fire ensued on Friday afternoon and continued intermittently in the forest. Six bodies have been recovered so far from the encounter scene, the IGP stated in his report to the press, adding that the security forces have recovered one AK-47, a Self Loading rifle and other weapons, as well as explosives materials and items of daily use from the site of the gun battle.

The IGP concluded his remarks to the press by saying that as the search operation remains underway, further operational details could not to be shared, adding that there was however no report of any injury sustained by the security forces.

According to police officials, Abujhmad region in Narayanpur district, is among the seven Maoist-affected districts in Bastar Region, and is cited by police authorities as an epicenter of Maoist activity in south Chhattisgarh.

3 Postscripts 3: The Maverick

First he snorted in irritation. His fur bristled like a surly and rebellious cat, disdainful of boxes and pyramids. Just like that, without even warning.

Then, for those who do not know, a kind of tender caress. Then the clawing, increasing in quantity and strength. And then, a whirlwhind of discontent. Before long, it was a runner. The fury of the wind was joined by a rain as if to tell the windstorm that it shared its rage. It threw men and leaves against the walls of the champas and, I swear, the foundations of the concrete pavilion creaked.

Wind and rain. Nowhere to turn. Better to be left in the middle of the fury than to risk the guillotine flight of the torn sheet metal as if defying the modest modesty of the galleries already cleaned, with paint and walls renovated.

But, strangely enough, the storm respected the periphery and concentrated in the center. There, where the skeleton of a pyramid rose not a few meters from the gravel.

As if to say: “No pyramids here”.

And the blankets that simulated the walls of the pyramid, swelled with that mixture of wings and sails that at times resembled a wandering ship and at times a lost aircraft, with no land in sight, only with the certainty that below was the ground waiting without haste, as if saying “just right here”.

We tried to talk to it, but, between the rain and the gale force winds, we barely managed to get it to let up long enough for the fellows who had climbed to the top to place the money sign to come down. Immediately, a strong, concentrated blowing blew the sails off and the blanket flew up the mountain.

“That’s how ghosts are born,” I thought.

We began to explain in a rushed manner that it was not to be left per se, but rather as an explanation of the policy. To reveal, that is. That there were no true or false gods. That, of itself, is going to be destroyed. Not only that one, but all the pyramids. Yes, in the whole and in the parts. Yes, in all the corners of the planet.

He slowly faded away, as if doubting our commitment.

He left later but not quickly, as if to say “if the human being does not comply, we, the parts of the first mother, will comply”.

SubMoy checked the construction and said: “It’s not going to fall easy”.

“Hey captain, is that thing going to be there all my life,” a militia woman asked me.

“No, how do you think, it’s for the Zapatista talk, why do you ask?”

“Because I think a soccer team is coming and that thing is in front of one of the goals, where our dining room is. So there will be neither game or food. The soccer game, whatever, but the food, well…”

The afternoon began to sprout from the trees. For an instant, the moon, the sun, the rain and the wind coincided, appearing before the mountain.

Well, no, that’s why we are fighting. It might linger, but there are going to be more of us.

And in the wind followed the warning that the rain engraved on the earth:
