Things like paintings which depict a model with pubic hair being flagged as sexually explicit. Or links to our online shop flagged as sexual solicitation. Or even when posts containing the word "vagina" are flagged as adult content, as if half the world doesn't have one, and most of us didn't come out of one.

3 Postscript 3 VII.- Questions, Images and Feelings. Questions, Images and Feelings.

Which image moves you?

That of a child lost in a crowd of adults? That of a girl who does not yet know that she is just a hunting target?

That of a disappeared woman, trapped in the limbo of endless violence, waiting only for her loved ones to look for her because the authorities are only concerned with statistics (the official ones, because the real ones cannot be manipulated)?

That of a mother, with all the pain tattooed on her face, looking for her missing child?

That of the corpses of infants in the rubble of Gaza?

That of the migrant man, woman, other (no matter the gender but the skin color), who discovers that terror does not recognize borders or nationalities, and who has to add to their remittances the sending of fear and despair?

That of the trans person, proud in their sparkling wardrobe, with a puzzled face as they see the red and blue lights of the police approaching?

That of the family of the worker, the employee, the driver, the delivery woman, the bricklayer, the teacher, who cannot have the insurance because the employer’s lawyer “proved” that the accident that cost her life “was not during working hours”?

That of the originary people (Tata Juan Chávez taught us that this is the name given to the one who the one above calls “Indian”, and that there are originary peoples, nations, tribes and neighborhoods) who look puzzled at the one who has the same color of skin but not of heart (now he is an official -which means that he has the color of money)-, who says something to him and hands him papers. And these people do not understand that they are being told that they will be evicted because they are invaders on the land that their fathers and mothers, their grandmothers and grandfathers, their great-grandfathers and great-grandmothers worked, and so on for centuries, but not to worry because with that mine, that solar farm, that tourist complex, that highway, that tourist train, that shopping center, progress and civilization will come and they will finally be able to return to being the peons for a new landowner?

-*-

Which image outrages you?

That of Trump masturbating while watching the news of more and more children murdered in Palestine, and imagines a “big and beautiful” tourist complex built over the corpses?

That of Netanyahu declaring on international television that Iran is attacking civilians with its bombs and should be condemned by the international community?

That of the public prosecutor who looks morbidly at the young girl outraged while he judges, sentences and condemns her “because with those clothes, my girl, you asked for it”?

That of the “transformative” official who, to show that she is committed to just causes, in response to the demand to search for missing women, “gives away” picks and shovels (“hey, but they are charging for them”; “Bah, at that price they are like free”)?

That of the gringo ICE policeman who viciously beats a migrant who tells him, his face bleeding, that he has been in the U.S. since before that agent was born?

The one of the non-binary person, with the broken body covered in urine and blood, while the one with the camera sends his boss the photo and the message “here is the photo of the little faggot they broke”?

The one of the lawyer who argues: “laws are studied in orderto know how to break them… legally, of course”?

That of the preeminent progressive legislator who, in vain pride, manages to condemn the person who posted a tweet (or whatever) saying what everyone knows to be true, but, at the same time, fears, in her imposed humility, that her gringo visa will be cancelled?

That of officials who do not work unless they “oil the machine”, or what is the same thing: “with money dancing the dog”?

-*-

And why do you need these images – if they move and outrage you, of course – to recognize yourself as a human being?

-*-

On the world pyramid, the geography of modernity and progress, its map, then, is a gigantic photo mural.

Above: the retouched images of the different brands of Big Capital. A few of them.

Below: millions of images of the disappeared, the dead and the forgotten. Devastated jungles with machines and stupidity. Rivers and lagoons contaminated with the deadly feces of the mining companies. Native peoples that once were living and today are an “all-inclusive” hotel complex. The marginal colonies. The smoky skies of industrial cities with pieces and gears of flesh and bone. Wars where the usual disposable people die. A clandestine cemetery as the Homeland.

-*-

But perhaps that is not all. Maybe, there, in that corner, below and to the left, there is someone who resists and, resisting, rebels and reveals. Maybe

… “They are the voices, the arms and the decisive feet,
and the perfect faces, and the eyes of fire,
and the tactics of those who hate you today,
to love you tomorrow when the dawn is breaking,
and not a stream of insults, and not a river of fatigue,”
and not a false door to flee on your knees.”

Declaration of Hate. Efrain Huerta (1914-1982).

A Call From the Workers of Gaza to Labor Unions Around the World: A Cry in the Face of Starvation and Genocide

A Call From the Workers of Gaza to Labor Unions Around the World: A Cry in the Face of Starvation and Genocide

To all free workers everywhere,
To our comrades in trade unions and labor federations around the world,

We bring to you the statement of the workers of Gaza, issued by the Palestine General Federation of Trade Unions, addressed to the workers and unions of the world—this final appeal they have named “A Cry Before Death.” It reaches us from the midst of hunger and siege, from beneath the rubble of factories and homes, and from the heart of a continuing war of extermination that has gone on for nearly 22 months alongside a systematic policy of mass starvation executed by “Israel” with direct support from the United States and its European partners.

The statement reads:
“The Israeli war has destroyed 80% of Gaza’s homes, all of its factories, workshops, and sources of livelihood, and most of its farmland has been bulldozed.”

Indeed, the lives of workers, fishermen, farmers, and all productive social sectors in the besieged Strip have been turned into a living hell. Their families are now without shelter and without income. There is no food and no medicine. One worker says: “We are besieged by American and European weapons, choked by hunger, neglect, and silence — all in an attempt to destroy our lives, to break our resilience, and to crush the will of resistance in our people.”

We address you today once again, not merely as victims, but as the workers of Palestine: an integral part of the popular and working classes of this world, struggling for justice, liberation, and dignity. And we call upon you to:

  • Break the silence and complicity, raise your voices within your unions and federations, and denounce the policies of starvation, siege, and massacre in Gaza.
  • Pressure your governments to end arms deals and military cooperation with the occupation, and to impose sanctions on the Zionist settler-colonial and apartheid regime.
  • Boycott companies that support the occupation, and withdraw union investments from any company, institution, or entity involved in funding or profiting from the war.
  • Organize days of rage and global solidarity in factories and workshops, in ports and airports, in the streets and public squares, in support of Palestine and its brave people.

We especially appeal to the unions of seafarers and port workers, urging them to refuse to load or unload “Israeli” ships or those bound for Zionist ports, and to halt any form of maritime or commercial cooperation with the tools of war and siege. Your strong hands and awakened consciences are capable of halting the machinery of extermination and stopping the shipments of death sent to Palestine. Show all humanity the power of the struggling working class when it rises united in defense of justice and human values.

From here, we proudly and gratefully salute our comrades, the port workers in Greece, for their principled and courageous stance, and their leading role in boycotting “Israeli” ships and rejecting complicity in war crimes. We also salute the labor unions in Norway, Spain, France, Canada, and elsewhere for their pioneering role in impactful solidarity with our people through the boycott of occupation institutions. We call upon all labor unions around the world to cut ties with the so-called “Histadrut”, the Zionist organization that claims to belong to the working class while participating in the siege of Palestinian workers, justifying the genocide in Gaza, and serving as an integral part of the Israeli occupation apparatus.

Comrades,

What is being carried out today in Gaza is a crime of mass starvation in full view of the world: its aim is to displace us and expel us from our land. This is not only a war of physical extermination; it is a series of crimes that surpass everything committed by Nazism and fascism in Europe. It is carried out with the aim of subjugating us by destroying the very conditions of life and human dignity. Yet the popular working classes and their free unions around the world possess a legacy of history, strength, and courage sufficient to defeat these criminal policies — if they unite their ranks and raise their voice in confrontation with colonialism, Zionism, and the savagery of capitalism.

We promise you:
We will rebuild the universities, schools, institutions, and factories of Gaza again, as we have always done after every American-Zionist war of destruction. And we will continue our steadfastness, no matter how great the hardships and challenges.

Let us turn anger into action, and solidarity into a concrete stance.
Let us break the policy of starvation and raise the banner of labor struggle for justice—
For a free Palestine, from the river to the sea.

The Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement (Masar Badil)
23 July 2025

(Text of the statement from the Palestine General Federation of Trade Unions – Gaza)

The Workers’ Cry Before Death

A cry we raise to speak to the consciences and dignity of our comrades in the unions, to call for mobilization in support of children who cannot find milk or a morsel of bread, for mothers whose breasts have dried up, for patients waiting to die of hunger, for elders who fear dying of hunger, and for workers who can find neither work nor bread.

Our free comrades,
For 22 months, the occupation has carried out the killing of civilians and the destruction of homes—destroying 80% of Gaza’s houses, all of its factories, bulldozing most of its agricultural lands, and closing off most sources of livelihood.

Honorable colleagues,
We think well of you, so roll up your sleeves to break the siege on Gaza. We await from you a human and moral role to save Gaza from a blockade in which the criminal occupation has sealed every window for the entry of food, medicine, and water to its people.

Our union comrades,
We await your role in delivering the cry of the children and workers of Gaza to decision-makers and to the streets. You are the most worthy of carrying this responsibility—so be our support, move the streets, and stop the arms deals that are killing children, women, and workers. Mobilize the sympathizers and supporters to break the siege on Gaza, and deliver your free voice to the decision-makers.

There is no excuse for those who abandon Gaza and its people, or who abandon the workers.

Gaza will remain a witness to those who stood with the cry for humanity and the cry for freedom, and it will remain a symbol for the free people of the world.

We urge workers and labor organizations to contact us; please email workers@masarbadil.org.

Philippines: Two Cops Killed in Maoist Ambush

An ambush by the New People’s Army (NPA) claimed the lives of two police officers who were driving through Bagong Silang Township in Victoria, Eastern Mindoro, on the afternoon of July 13. The presence of the government army and police in Victoria ensures the security of large-scale, destructive and hostile projects to the population. Among these are seven quarrying sites approved by the local government. A large-scale mining operation is also expected to enter the state of Victoria, following the reactivation of the mine production sharing agreement for the Mindoro nickel project. These projects will devastate thousands of hectares of land that Mangyan farmers and indigenous communities depend on for their livelihoods. The police and military typically deploy forces ahead of destructive projects to suppress people’s efforts to defend their land and natural resources.

Why Are We Pretending AI Is Going to Take All the Jobs?

#politics #exploitation #capitalism #technofeudalism

AI isn't destroying any job. This narrative is a political choice backed by a propaganda campaign.

There is in fact a common habit of powerful monopolists choosing to point out a supposedly neutral larger-than-life force, such as ‘technology’ or ‘the future’ or ‘disruption’ or ‘globalization’ to argue that they are not responsible for the anti-social policies enabling their market power. For instance, in 2013, there were a lot of complaints about Amazon avoiding sales taxes and engaging in predatory behavior around book pricing. How did Jeff Bezos answer this charge? “Amazon is not happening to book selling,” he said, “the future is happening to book selling.” I see a lot of similarities between that political language and the AI discourse.

ICOR Statement In Solidarity With The Courageous Resistance Against Mass Deportations And The Establishment Of A Fascist Dictatorship In The USA

The ICOR (International Coordination of Revolutionary Parties and Organizations) declares its unconditional solidarity with the courageous resistance against mass deportations of immigrants and the establishment of a fascist dictatorship in the USA. In Los Angeles and across the country, people are standing in front of factories, schools, houses, and on the streets to prevent the immigration authorities (ICE) from arresting, kidnapping, and deporting colleagues, neighbors, and family members. State police already took action against the protesters, now President Donald Trump has deployed the National Guard and Marines. He speaks in fascist terms of an “invasion by foreign criminals” and calls the demonstrators “animals.”

Resistance is spreading rapidly in the US, and the forces of resistance are increasingly uniting. The idea of a necessary anti-fascist united front is spreading.

The mass deportations of migrants are attacks on the working class. In Los Angeles almost 50% of the working class comes from Mexico and Central America. The ruling class has always used the method of “divide and rule” to maintain and expand its power. Trump aims to establish a fascist dictatorship to enforce the plans of the most reactionary sections of US imperialist finance capital and maintain world domination. Leading officials of the Democratic Party like the governor of California are trying to exploit the situation in order to influence the resistance for their purpose of defense of a bourgeois democracy.

The migrants in the USA are part of the international working class, and their struggle is part of the worldwide struggle against imperialism, war, and fascism. Their struggle is our struggle. These deportations are harbingers of attacks planned in many countries, such as in Germany by the fascist AfD with its “remigration” policy, which aims at ethnic cleansing through mass deportations or assisted voluntary return of non-white immigrants and their descendants, often also those born in Europe, to their countries of origin.

Eight Zionist Troops Injured, Ansarallah Calls Invasion of Zionist Entity

Zionist media have reported that several occupation forces troops were wounded in al-Shujaiya, as Palestinian Resistance factions continue to launch attacks and execute ambushes targeting Zionist soldiers in Gaza.

The al-Quds Brigades, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s armed wing, stated that they launched a coordinated artillery and missile attack against occupation troops fortified in a residential area along the western line north of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

The al-Quds Brigades’ Military Media released footage showing their fighters striking gatherings of soldiers and military vehicles in Khan Younis using mortar fire.

On its part, the al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, confirmed targeting a command and control position in the Morag axis using their short-range Rajoum rocket system in an operation on Wednesday.

Nine Zionist troops wounded

Meanwhile, Zionist news outlets reported that eight soldiers sustained injuries during operational activities in al-Shujaiya, a district of Gaza City in the northern Strip, with preliminary information indicating the wounds resulted from an explosion, the cause of which authorities are still working to determine.

The Zionist military confirmed on Thursday that a soldier had suffered severe injuries during fighting in southern Gaza the previous day, July 24, without elaborating on the specifics of the engagement or the precise area where the injury took place.

The occupation army stated in an official release that the wounded soldier serves in the armored corps of Battalion 71 of Brigade 188, while occupation media sources reported that he sustained shrapnel injuries to the head from a mortar shell impact before being medically evacuated for urgent treatment at a military hospital.

Over 18,500 Zionist troops wounded since beginning of war

In a report earlier this week, the occupation recorded more than 18,500 injuries among its forces since the start of its war on the Gaza Strip, according to a report published on July 21 by Zionist Channel 12. The figures underscore the growing toll of nearly 10 months of warfare, with a significant number of those wounded suffering from both physical and psychological trauma.

According to the report, at least 12,500 troops sustained physical injuries, while more than 10,000 are dealing with post-traumatic stress and other psychological conditions, reflecting the intensity of combat and the deep mental strain within the ranks of the occupation forces.

The data revealed that 33% of the physical injuries involved the limbs, 13% affected the head, eyes, or ears, and 7% were related to the spine, neck, or back, which are injuries typically associated with high-intensity urban warfare and repeated exposure to explosions.

Hamas rejects US accusations

The Palestinian Resistance party Hamas has rejected accusations by US Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff that it is unwilling to pursue a ceasefire in Gaza, affirming its continued commitment to “serious and responsible” negotiations aimed at ending the aggression that began on October 7, 2023.

In an official statement early on Friday, Hamas emphasized that it had submitted its latest response to mediators following “extensive consultations with Palestinian factions, friendly countries, and all concerned parties.” The movement said it had shown flexibility throughout the negotiation process, responding positively to suggestions aimed at overcoming obstacles to a “just and comprehensive” agreement.

The group stressed that its priority remains “ending the aggression, lifting the siege, and reaching a stable and lasting agreement that preserves the rights and sacrifices of the Palestinian people.”

US envoy’s remarks dismissed as inaccurate

Hamas expressed surprise at Witkoff’s recent remarks, in which he accused the group of lacking seriousness and claimed that its latest response showed it was not interested in de-escalation. Hamas described these comments as “inaccurate” and “not reflective of the truth,” noting that the mediators themselves had “welcomed and expressed satisfaction” with the Palestinian response — in stark contrast to Washington’s portrayal.

The US and Zionist delegations had recently withdrawn from indirect negotiations in Doha, citing what Witkoff described as Hamas’s failure to coordinate a unified Palestinian position. He also criticized the movement for allegedly reversing previously agreed-upon elements of a phased truce.

Focus on aid, withdrawal maps, guarantees

Palestinian sources close to the negotiations said that Hamas’ response focused primarily on three issues: securing the regular entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza, clarifying the maps of Zionist military withdrawal, and obtaining credible international guarantees to ensure a permanent ceasefire.

Hamas reportedly refused alterations made to the US-backed proposal, which Resistance sources say shrinks a proposed 60-day truce down to just one week without guarantees on prisoner releases, reconstruction, or long-term de-occupation commitments.

Earlier frameworks, initially presented in January and backed by Qatar and Egypt, had included the release of all hostages in stages in exchange for hundreds of Palestinian detainees, as well as the phased withdrawal of Zionist forces and international mechanisms for Gaza’s reconstruction. However, the new framework, which bears the imprint of the Netanyahu government and US envoy Steve Witkoff, appears to fall short of those understandings.

Hamas affirms continued engagement

Despite the diplomatic fallout, Hamas reiterated that it remains committed to engaging seriously in the negotiations. “We are determined to reach an agreement that serves our people and ends the aggression,” the movement affirmed in its statement.

The Gaza Strip remains under intensified Israeli bombardment and siege, with the humanitarian situation deteriorating rapidly. Aid access remains intermittent, and ceasefire talks are the only avenue to halting the months-long Zionist military campaign that has displaced over 80% of Gaza’s population and caused unprecedented destruction.

Ansarallah calls for open borders to allow fighters into battle

As part of Yemen’s support front, the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out 11 operations with hypersonic missiles and drones against Zionist targets in occupied Palestine, the leader of the Ansar Allah movement, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, announced.

In his weekly speech addressing the latest developments regarding the aggression on the Gaza Strip, as well as international and regional events, Sayyed al-Houthi stated that since Yemen began its operations in support of Gaza, a total of 1,679 operations have been carried out, in which a myriad of missiles, drones, and USVs were deployed.

Furthermore, he reiterated the movement’s commitment to strengthening its military capabilities, vowing that future actions would be “more effective in punishing and pressuring the Zionist enemy.”

The Yemeni Resistance leader also noted that the maritime blockade on the occupation remains in place, asserting that the port of Umm al-Rashrash, in southern occupied Palestine, has once again been completely shut down as a result.

Open borders for Yemenis

Sayyed al-Houthi renewed his appeal to the governments of countries geographically located between Yemen and Palestine to “open passageways for our people,” so that Yemenis mobilize in the hundreds of thousands in support of Gaza.

“Opening those corridors is something we wish for and continue to pursue,” he added.

Calls for unprecedented turnout

Sayyed al-Houthi called for an “unprecedented” mass mobilization across Yemen on Friday, urging the public for a massive turnout in a show of solidarity with Gaza. “This must be a historic turnout,” he said, “especially in light of the disgraceful silence and complicity of most Islamic governments.”

He affirmed that Yemen’s position remains unchanged despite US, British, and Zionist aggression and that economic warfare, siege, and media campaigns have failed to weaken the resolve of the Yemeni people.

‘Shameful Silence’ amid Gaza famine

Addressing the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, the Yemeni Resistance leader criticized international organizations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) for what he described as a “shameful” failure to act.

“With Gaza under siege and famine spreading, it is a huge disgrace that the international community and Islamic institutions remain inactive,” he said.

Sayyed al-Houthi added that Palestinians in Gaza feel abandoned not only by the international community but first and foremost by Arab and Muslim countries. “The responsibility lies with them before anyone else,” he concluded.

PFLP: The Systematic Starvation War in Gaza Surpasses Nazism in its Brutality.

The continuation of the new Nazis’ systematic starvation war against more than two million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, concurrently with widespread bombing, forced displacement of exhausted displaced persons, systematic destruction of health and service infrastructure, and a severe drinking water crisis threatening the lives of residents, constitutes unprecedented major war crimes that exceed all known history of Nazism and Fascism.

The ease with which starving civilians are killed while trying to obtain aid from American-sponsored death traps brings to mind scenes from Nazi camps that prepared people for death by starvation and massacres. It confirms the direct involvement and actual participation of the United States in this heinous crime, which the occupation commits amidst intense bombing and siege that prevents the entry of the most basic necessities of life.

The world’s silence and suspicious inaction in the face of this crime, its inability to hold the occupation accountable, and its blatant complicity with the United States, constitute a resounding moral fall and a scandalous betrayal of all humanitarian values. To leave an entire people to face real famine and slow death under siege and bombing is actual participation in this crime, committed in its most horrific new Nazi forms by the perpetrators of atrocities and criminals of this era, who continue their crimes without mercy, while the world contents itself with issuing hollow statements that are not worth the ink they were written with and have turned into tools of anesthesia and disguised complicity.

The peoples of the world are required to rise up and face their responsibilities, and to hold accountable everyone who participates directly or indirectly in this crime; for the time has come to triumph for humanity and dignity, as what is happening in Gaza exceeds all limits of cruelty and brutality.

Our people will not forgive or pardon those who faltered, colluded, or remained silent and left them alone to face hunger and extermination. The cries of hungry children will remain a witness, and history will not be merciful to the complacent and the onlookers.

Georges Abdallah Calls for Arab Mobilization Ahead of Expected Release

Lebanese political prisoner Georges Ibrahim Abdallah has conveyed a message of resilience and defiance through Al Mayadeen, just ahead of his anticipated release from French detention.

“Calm, reassured, and a fighter until my last breath,” Abdallah said, emphasizing his continued belief in the path of resistance.

The message was conveyed by Abdallah’s lawyer, where the Lebanese activist rejected the notion of fear, affirming, “I feel no threat—my condition is that of any other fighter in our homeland.”

His words were accompanied by a clear call to the Arab street, urging people across the region to unite in conscious and determined mobilization.

‘When the Arab street moves, we will witness a resistance uprising’

In his message to the Arab world, Abdallah underscored the need for unified popular action: “When the Arab street moves, we will witness a resistance uprising.

He expressed frustration with current levels of public engagement, stating that “the Arab people are not rising up sufficiently” and must “gather in the streets to act.”

The remarks reflect his broader revolutionary ideology rooted in grassroots struggle, framed by decades of unwavering commitment to Palestine and to confronting imperialism and Zionism in the region.

‘Salute to everyone who stood by me’

Abdallah extended his gratitude to all those who supported him throughout his incarceration. “Salute to everyone who stood by me, supported my struggle, and gave me strength for the future,” he said.

The veteran Resistance fighter stressed: “Capitalism is in decline; that’s why it manufactures wars,” casting global conflict as a result of systemic collapse in the Western-led order.

Lawyer: Abdallah maintains full awareness and energy for the future

Speaking to Al Mayadeen, Abdallah’s lawyer emphasized his readiness to resume political activity. “We must rally behind the struggle of Georges,” she said, describing him as “fully aware of current events” and possessing “great momentum and vitality.”

She called on the public to embrace his cause as a symbol of long-term resistance and liberation.

Decades-long deliberate detention of Abdallah

Abdallah, a former member of the Lebanese Armed Revolutionary Factions (LARF), was arrested in Lyon in 1984 and sentenced to life imprisonment in 1987 for alleged involvement in the assassinations of US and Israeli diplomats.

Though legally eligible for release since 1999, he has remained imprisoned due to repeated political obstruction, particularly by US and Israeli pressure on French authorities. French courts have approved multiple parole requests over the years, each overturned by executive decisions citing diplomatic considerations.

Widespread international campaigns have long called for the release of the symbol of anti-imperialist resistance. On July 11, a French court once again approved his release and deportation to Lebanon, set for July 25, pending final administrative procedures.

Applicants for a US visa must now either expose every tweet, photo, and friend to the world or risk being denied entry.

This is turning social media into a loyalty test. It forces people to unlock their account or risk being seen as “suspicious.” Authoritarian logic.

As if students from repressive regimes don’t already face enough risk.
