UK will recognise Palestine in September, unless Israel agrees to ceasefire

Britain, the colonial power whose 1917 Balfour Declaration and subsequent mandate policies created the foundation for Palestinian dispossession, has finally agreed to recognise Palestinian statehood - but only conditionally. UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer's cabinet will formally recognise Palestine this September unless Israel abides by a ceasefire and commits to a two-state solution.

The UK will proceed with recognition before the UN General Assembly unless Israel takes substantive steps to end the situation in Gaza, reaches a ceasefire, prevents West Bank annexation, and commits to long-term peace.

Over 200 UK MPs have signed letters urging immediate Palestinian recognition, following France's commitment to recognise Palestine in September.

Das Problem mit dem Luftabwürfen von Hilfsgütern ist, dass sie zum Teil zur Gefahr für Menschen werden.

BBC hatte einen Reporter in einem dieser Flugzeuge. Mindestens zwei dieser Abwürfe (an zwei Tagen) landeten in dem Bereich der von Israel als Kampfzone deklariert wurde. Das bedeutet in vielen Fällen, dass Palästinenser erschossen werden wenn sie sich den Hilfsgütern nähern würden.

Der Reporter, der an Bord des Jordanischen Flugzeugs bei den Abwürfen war ist Jeremy Bowen.

Er hatte die explizite Anweisung von #Israel, dass er nicht aus den Fenstern des Flugzeugs filmen dürfe.

Bowen war früher mehrmals in #Gaza; er sah aus dem Fenster und konnte von den lebendigen Communities in Nord-Gaza die er kennt nichts mehr erkennen. Die israelische Armee hat alles zerstört.

Wenn eines Tages Journalisten und Ermittler freien Zugang zu Gaza erhalten, dann werden sie wahrscheinlich sehr viel unvorstellbares sehen, Zeugnisse der Gräultaten, die alle erschüttern werden, wenn die Informationen darüber sich in der Welt verbreiten.
Auch das dürfte ein Teil der Erklärung sein warum die israelische Armee alles eingeebnet hat und warum die israelische Regierung alles annektieren will.

Auch SkyNews hatte eine Reporterin in einer dieser Flüge zum Abwurf von Hilfsgütern, und berichtet davon. Auch ihrem Team wurde seitens Israels gedroht, dass die Luftabwürfe alle gestoppt werden könnten, wenn sie aus dem Flugzeug heraus filme.
Es ist quasi die Drohung mit dem Verhungern von Menschen, um zu verhindern dass die Weltöffentlichkeit sieht was die israelische Armee da in Gaza macht/gemacht hat.

B'Tselem and Physicians for Human Rights-Israel have published reports concluding that Israel is committing #genocide against Palestinians in Gaza. The organizations document mass killing, destruction of infrastructure, forced displacement, and systematic dismantling of healthcare systems over 21 months of military operations.

According to #haaretz numerous international organizations have reached similar conclusions, including Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, Doctors Without Borders, and several Israeli genocide researchers and Holocaust scholars.

B'Tselem warns the genocide may expand to other areas where Palestinians live under Israeli rule and calls for urgent international action using all available means under international law to halt the violence.

How did you reach the conclusion that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza?

Entre le 17 septembre et le 15 novembre 2024, le ministère de la Recherche a autorisé l'utilisation de 1 867 481 animaux dans de nouveaux projets scientifiques.

Ces chiffres glaçants révèlent une réalité toujours d’actualité en 2025 :

1 690 867 souris 816 singes 3 048 cochons 2 895 chiens 68 440 poissons

Tous ces animaux ont été utilisés pour des expériences souvent invasives, et la grande majorité a été mise à mort ou réemployée dans d'autres tests.

⚠️ En 2025, la recherche française continue de valider et financer ces pratiques, alors que des alternatives éthiques existent déjà.
